PSS made our move to Canada as simple as an international move could be. The office staff were great to answer all of our questions and removals team were incredibly quick, delicate and patient with our chaotic organisation. We’ve now landed safely in Canada, the shipping manifest made the “goods to follow” form easy to fill out for customs. Overall it’s been a very good experience - thanks PSS!
Very helpful move manager at PPS, however a combination of delay and insurance handling led to the rating. Some insights on my experience that may be helpful to others deciding. Move from UK to Australia: Timeline: 7 months door to door (main reason for delay given - the war in Yemen). Price: Original quote ~£1,600 Total actually paid once insurance, mandatory and optional fees were added: ~£2,600. Had we paid all optional fees this would have been £2,700. Insurance: Cost of insurance - about £900. My estimate of cost to replace damaged items: £540. RCS Initial offer to settle: £10.50 (net of excess) RCS Final offer to settle: £150 (net of excess) Emails exchanged to finalise: 83 Time taken from notification to payment: 18 weeks, 5 days - most of which was waiting for replies. The process for claiming seems designed to frustrate you and make you give up - as it ultimately did for me. There is no written complaint process - PSS refer you to their insurance provider, and their insurance provider refer you to PSS. The advertised free alternative dispute resolution available through BAR does not apply to insurance claim disputes. Due to the legal structure of the cover, this insurance is not subject to ombudsman jurisdiction - you are just stuck with whatever final offer is made unless you want to go to the time and expense of court. ---- Edited to add: Time taken to respond to Trustpilot public review: 2 days Time taken to respond to internal complaint: 51 days

Damaged at least half of my shipment which was brand new items and lost others. I provided pictures and evidence within minutes of the shipment delivery. I tried to resolve as I’d payed extra for insurance but was messed about then they just stopped responding. Seems to be a very common theme from looking at reviews on Facebook
Good communication prior to delivery. The delivery team were efficient, careful, courteous and helpful. The delivery was quickly delivered, furniture reassembled and the empty boxes removed. Thank you!

Wow 🤩 I was VERY impressed by the PSS Removal team. I had been assured and reassured that they would handle everything on the day. They absolutely did, I was sat out of the way on my I-pad. They were so VERY fast and efficient it was easier for us all. They where also very polite 🌹
Punctual, efficient, careful and considerate, proactive and polite. We were well prepared for the move and did our part. Despite stopping at three collection points the entire move was done in 3.5 hours. The support provided wrapping lamps and fragile items was much appreciated.
The team was the best of the best can’t say how helpful they were with everything, they made me relaxed with this transition of moving my personal goods to another country, Jamie and his team the biggest thank you for everything am absolutely so proud how hard they worked to them do this for me. Horrendous on every level. Currently going through a legal battle with them. Do not use!! They do not care about your items, they just want your money.
PSS Under quoted the amount of room required in the container and at last minute had to find more money or leave furniture behind.Nearly every piece of furniture was damaged or broken on arrival, the process to claim insurance is difficult and a lot of leg work and expenses you do not get reimbursed for and then the amount claim paid was pathetic not even enough to repair the furniture. Extra charges came from every set of hands that were involved in the shipping. UK to Aus While staff have been pleasant and courteous on phone and in emails the process is very flawed. **** In response to your customer service reply, you are incorrect we listed and measured everything and sent you the full list of with details measurements for quoting, members of your team told us you had estimated wrong, we had to leave behind furniture included in that list nothing extra was added infact quite the opposite. I have let your insurer know I am dissatisfied with no response and yet to even receive the inadequate payment for the damage.
Your team arrived on time and were very polite and professional and also very helpful. Overall a very satisfactory experience. Just a pity about the shock additional charges 😕 was not expecting that.
