Feb 24,2025So far has gone quite smoothly. I like being in control of accepting viewings etc. Property manager Heather was brilliant from the start. My only issue is the app itself is awful, constantly crashing and not fit for purpose, would need attention

Feb 24,2025Accepted an offer from my parents for a house that was not yet in the sellers name charged them £80 for some checks that they shouldn’t have to pay. Then 6 week in find out that they would have to wait for potentially another 16 week because the seller hadn’t applied for probate. Ended up pulling out of sale and loosing another £300 in solicitors fees. Stay well clear

Feb 24,2025Terrible, they had a house marketed i wanted to view, I requested a viewing for the following week, after not hearing anything for 3 days I rang up to enquire further, they said I should get confirmation within the next day or 2, I got an email 2 days later saying my booking request had been cancelled with no reason given, after again emailing them I never heard back. Completely unacceptable behaviour, I can see now why they are so cheap.

At all stages Maxine Fisher was extremely helpful as well as keeping us informed thoroughly and throughout. Maxine was very sympathetic to our needs, stress and worries at different stages in this process. Overall a very difficult process made far more seamless through this very considerate and knowledgeable lady in her profession.

Feb 23,2025From the start communication was impossible their staff kept changing being on holiday day off out of office. I took their E WAY conveyancing package which was very difficult to contact eventually they at 3 hours (YES 3 HOURS) before completion someone phoned and said we are not acting for you you will have to find another conveyancer ,Purple bricks on hearing this were not interested and said they could not help, 7 hours ago purple bricks said we will be in touch shortly nothing 7 hours later!!!! Iff anyone knows or can help me please contact me I am 81 years old and am desperate

Feb 24,2025Had a viewing at Meadowside Quay in Glasgow and albeit we won’t be progressing any further as it doesn’t fit our criteria, I thought it was important that I shared my experience. The process was seamless from appointment request through to meeting the young lady, Kylie Maclean at the property. It’s not often these days you find someone who loves their job and it was evident to see Kylie was a real company individual and is a credit to Purple Bricks. Thanks again and I hope we meet again at another property that we can take forward.
