Sep 23,2020Llysgennydd (Kenneth’s Court) was the perfect getaway for our group. The house was immaculate when we arrived and it was clear lots of care and effort had been put in to make this house welcoming and safe during this period of the pandemic. All bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is a great family space with everything you could need. The living areas were cosy and charming. The house is full of character! The WiFi in the house also worked perfectly. We were able to steam live sport and Netflix in the evenings with no problem at all. The garden was spacious and pet friendly. It was a lovely space to relax in the evening sun. There is ample parking and secure gates that could be closed to protect children or pets from the road. Overall we had a lovely stay and would certainly return.

Sep 23,2020The Granary was perfect - well located (with everything you need in walking distance), loads of space, very well equipped, and beautifully furnished. Great for 2 couples (as we were) or for a family. I'm sure we'll be back!

Sep 22,2020Had a great time at Lan Lofft in St David’s. Was a rearrangement of dates due to lockdown in May. The rearranging all went very well. All instructions clear an easy for access to cottage. Lovely owners who we spoke to several times throughout the stay.

Sep 21,2020We have just had a wonderful fortnight at The Farm House East Hook. The house is clean, very comfortable and well equipped, with lots of areas to relax in and enjoy the spectacular views. The housekeeper was lovely and very helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. Have booked already for next year.

Sep 20,2020Great holiday home in a fantastic location. The beautiful coast path and unspoilt beaches are within walking distance. We enjoyed beautiful weather which was perfect for walking, cycling and swimming in the sea. We even saw dolphins on our last day - magical.

Sep 20,2020Thankyou Quality Cottages..informed throughout,nice touch to get EMails a week from our stay & another "Today's the day..have a safe trip!"..lots of Covid information..we hope we left the cottage as we found it & bagged everything up OK! These are difficult times & we had a marvellous,uninterrupted,isolated week in a cosy,warm cottage,just as we wanted it..away from work & NO phone signal..Bliss.If anything QC are on the ball...was a little perplexed we got a message asking us if we'd had a good journey home while we still had 8hrs to go he-he...give us a chance to get home guys!!!...Honestly,would recommend & Thankyou again

QC communicated with us clearly before the holiday, so we knew what to expect, and the cottage itself was very clean and well appointed. We felt very confident and comfortable. We've been holidaying with Quality Cottages for a number of years now and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Sep 20,2020We have just returned from Coldstream in Dale. The house is in a good location with plenty of space. The damp creeping up most of the ground floor walls needs some urgent attention. The soft furnishings down stairs could all do with replacing. The sitting rooms could do with additional table or standard lamps. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. Generally a positive stay but if the damp and soft furnishings were addressed if would have been even better.

Sep 20,2020Just spent two weeks at Towyn Cottage, Abereiddy. Lovely cottage in a great location. Easy access to local beaches and the coastal footpath. Minor problems/queries we encountered during our stay were resolved promptly and courteously. Overall, very happy with our stay.

Sep 20,2020I had booked a holiday in June which was cancelled due to Covid restrictions- I wasn’t offered a refund so transferred it to next year . When restrictions were lifted I tried to bring the dates forward, I tried to ring Quality cottages several times without success- I sent many emails which were not answered- eventually I booked another cottage and paid the outstanding balance minus the deposit paid on the first cottage . I then kept getting emails saying I owed money. Again I tried to ring and email and after several attempts they rang me saying it wasn’t possible to transfer moneys to a different cottage from the one originally booked ! I explained I would have been happy to have the original cottage but it had been rebooked to someone else. Eventually after more phone calls they agreed to my request. I would be reluctant to use quality cottages again - customer service is very poor. I have used them several times previously. On looking at their website now they are only charging £20 deposit and encourage taking insurance for cancellation which doesn’t cover Covid. They state if you don’t take this insurance you may have to pay the full amount if you cancel . Normally you would be able to cancel before the balance is due and only lose the deposit. This would put me off booking with them again.

Sep 20,2020Had a wonderful holiday at Y Stablau. Everything you need in a fantastic setting overlooking the sea and surrounded by sheep fields. Norbar is a great place to eat out. The coastal train stops just up the road, and takes you either up to Pwllheli or down to Aberystwyth, with many small stops in between. But be aware that currently you cannot pay the fare on the train.

Sep 20,2020Ty Mor, Manorbier was our first stop on a visit to Pembrokeshire. It’s a well located cottage, with easy access to the local cafe, pub and spectacular beaches. Quality Cottages has sent us an email detailing the steps they were taking with regard to Covid, but there was a gap between the rhetoric and reality. Some areas, e.g the stove, downstairs shower were not as clean as one would expect. The central heating clock didn’t work, and the shower control in the upstairs bathroom was completely inoperable. These glitches, however, did not spoil a lovely week!

Sep 19,2020Just returned from a FAB week at Mullock Bridge Cottage. Only slight problem was we were given the incorrect entry code by QC so had to call caretaker. Lovely location, comfortable accommodation and great location.

Sep 23,2020Min Yr Afon was simply perfect for our UK break. A modern and spacious cottage with all the facilities you'd expect. In a tranquil location where you felt in touch with nature, yet it was easy to hop to national trust places, beaches, small towns etc. With UK breaks likely for the foreseeable for many, we are likely to book an escape at Min Yr Afon again!
