Just come back this weekend from wales. Had a wonderful holiday from start to finish and Quality cottages were very helpful throughout. Sending emails and text messages at the right times for checking and check outs. Phoned them once, and the caretaker twice for general information and they were always very helpful. Wonderful cottage and lovely, thoughtful owners. Thanks for the welcome basket.

Our friends with us, along with our dogs, stayed in the beautiful Gwaun Valley; in Wisteria Lodge, for just 2 people and the accompanying Serendipity Lodge, for 2 to 3 people. When you pass through the gate into the generous grounds of this expansive property it’s like entering your own private valley, and the owners are such welcoming dog lovers too! Thank you Sylvia and Robin for your welcome and hospitality; you have such a special place in the heart of the Gwaun Valley😊

The customer service from Quality Cottages has been abysmal. We booked Epynt View on the Sat 25th Aug and unfortunately had to cancel on the Mon 27th, we had no booking confirmation and have yet to receive any acknowledgment of the booking other than the £948 being taken from my account with no receipt of payment. On cancelling I had an email stating that we would only get a refund if the property was re-let as per there T&Cs, which are only binding once the booking confirmation has been issued and doesn’t mention at all that a refund would only be issued once re-let. I have sent several chase emails with no responses even though the property has been booked on there website for the same week? It has almost been 4weeks without responses to my emails or refund (minus booking fee)

Morfa Ganol is located in a superb area adjacent to several wonderful beaches in Ceredigion between New Quay and Cardigan. Quiet, large and well equipped it is ideal for a multi generational family holiday. Great kitchen, several lounge rooms, 3 dining tables, 3 shower rooms, large garden, new gas BBQ, parking for 3+ cars, very comfortable beds. Superb!

Excellent booking process and communication despite the challenging circumstances of COVID-19. The accommodation was brilliant and better than we expected (although pictures and video on the website were spot on) we really enjoyed our family holiday. Already planning our next holiday with Quality Cottages. Highly recommended

Great communication. Had a good email with clear directions. Smooth customer experience from beginning to end. The accommodation was outstanding-we stayed next to woods, which was very peaceful. Immaculately clean and comfortable. The hot tub was simply wonderful! Owners were very friendly, and approachable. Wouldn’t hesitate to book via here again.

We booked seaview paid 600 pound deposit then because of covid we had to cancel. They were able to relet the property, therefore they refunded the money. Very pleased.

Stayed at Hillside house, Newgale beach. Fabulous location, spacious property. Sky TV etc and comfortable enough beds. Appliances old and whole house dated, but most things worked. However disappointingly it was filled with the owners clutter, and had dust mounting with Cobwebs everywhere. Having received a lengthy Covid 19 email assuring us extra cleaning and property preparation would take place, we were warned the house may look "sparce" as cushions and other such soft furnishings were removed, but at least every surface would be disinfected. This was definitely not the case, there were throws and cushions on the 2 sofas, a table cloth on the dining table and numerous cobwebs and clumps of dust. Every ledge and shelf had books or ornaments or dead plants on. Too much clutter that the cleaner couldn't be bothered to move to clean around. Previous reviews had commented about dirt-which had been noted by owners, and we assumed with Covid 19 cleaning taking place it would not be a problem for us. The caretaker was helpful, and he arranged for the cleaner to come back the next day meaning we had to pack up and vacate. He also came and stripped the house of the owners clutter, but left it so severely bare it wasn't very pleasant. Holes in walls where pictures and shelves had been taken down. But frankly rather that than clutter dust and cobwebs. Quality Cottages were helpful at the local office but clearly no one inspecting the house regularly. There was an out of date Welsh self catering certificate hanging in entrance hall dated 2015-2017. It left us feeling a bit ripped off, feeling they charge handsomely just for the location & view but don't take care of the house.

Cancellation means full payment despite what they say on the phone When I booked a cottage in January over the phone, I was told quite clearly that in the event of cancellation my deposit would be forfeit, but not the full amount if the cancellation was before a given date. The event I was attending was cancelled due to Covid 19 government regulations regarding singing, so I asked to move my booking to next year. This request has been treated as a cancellation and I have been asked for the full amount although it is 5 weeks to the given date for payment. This amounts to fraud. New outlook Since writing this review, Quality Cottages has agreed to roll over our booking to next year. It took considerable perseverence on my part but thank you to them and the owner who has agreed to this. All parties satisfied and no one out of pocket. Quality Cottages has asked me to reconsider the 1 star rating I gave the company. I have decided to increase this to 3 stars. My reasons are these: although this is now resolved satisfactorily, it took considerable persistence on my part to get them to postpone the booking; they still maintain that the full cost would be forfeit if I had cancelled although I was told on the telephone that only the deposit would be forfeit if we cancelled within a due date. I would ask future clients to beware and not to be misled.

We rented a cottage in Pembrokeshire. Four days before our holiday, they sent an email canceling the booking, vaguely citing COVID, offering no help with alternatives and instructing us to reach out to the booking platform for a refund of fees. Seeking more information and help, we called them, emailed, texted. Two weeks later, we have heard nothing. They never canceled the booking with the booking platform, so they have refused to refund the fees. Either woefully unprofessional or a scam. Avoid. UPDATE: Note their reply below, which came more than three weeks after the cancelation -- the first we have heard from them; still no explanation of the last-minute cancelation. And their offer to sort out the still-not-refunded fees is a joke: I have left multiple phone messages and sent repeated email without reply, but I can supposedly just magically call them now? This company does not deserve your business.

Great stay at Oswald House in Little Haven, Pembrokeshire! We stayed for a week in July 2020. Only 5 of us, although it sleeps 10, but perfect for entertaining in a socially distanced way outside in the BBQ area. The house is lovely with absolutely everything you could need and vast amounts of space - so not used to being in a large property in Little Haven. Definitely recommended, although rather expensive.

Excellent customer service before we even got to St David’s. Really caring staff where nothing was too much trouble. On arrival, John was really helpful (as was his wife later in the week). Cottage was immaculate and was the best equipped cottage that we’ve ever stayed in. Loved arriving to welsh cakes!! Perfect location. Parking was no problem. Will definitely return.

I booked with quality cottages almost two weeks ago. They took my money immediately only to email me the next day to say that the cottage in fact was not available for my dates. I asked for a refund which they agreed to, however here we are 10 days later and I am still waiting to receive my money back - £694! Terrible customer service.

Throughout the COVID-19 situation Quality Cottages has helped cottage owners by supporting them with vital information, retaining as many bookings as they can by encouraging guests to move their bookings and keeping us updated with the current political thinking in Wales which has been different to England.

Great, friendly service. Nothing too much for them to find out, and they found us the best holiday home we have ever had, even when there was not much left. We stayed in north wales, near angelseuy which was the first time in that area. we will definitely be coming back in 2021 - we have already booked again!

Had great service from Quality Cottages when our booking was cancelled by Sykes last minute. They were really helpful and found us some options and made a stressful situation very easy. The cottage we booked in Ceredigion was out of this world and we will definitely be using them again.

Avoid at all costs. Booked accommodation in Morfa Nefyn and paid in full. Quality cottages cancelled our booking 2 weeks before we were due to travel and have still not issued a refund (original travel date tomorrow). Unable to get in contact with them and they are not answering emails. Do not use this company. Holiday ruined.

I can’t praise Quality Cottages enough for all their guidance and help during this Covid-19 pendamic. They’ve always been excellent at marketing and making bookings for my property in Wales. However they have been amazing during these difficult times and have kept us fully informed as to what to do and how to deal with things to ensure that we keep the safety of our guests and staff a top priority. They have been so quick in keeping us up to date - more so than any other property agent I’ve dealt with for my properties in England. Well done, Quality Cottages and Thank You!
