We stayed at Seagulls for 1-week, I can honestly say it's the best accommodation we have ever stayed in (and we have travelled much of the world). The views are breath taking, watching the sunrise from anywhere in the house or terrace areas and the ever changing light and colours over the Menai makes this place very special - we will be back!
Beautiful cottage great location had a brilliant sunny all week holiday
This is a beautifully appointed cottage. Although in the centre of the city it remains quiet owing to its thick walls and walled garden. In actual fact it is a detached cottage as there is a passageway between the cottage and the next one which isn't apparent from the front. The garden is a delight. The only drawback for us was that the parking was very in demand and we were not able to use the car for fear of not getting a place on our return. St David's was extremely busy.
Loved this cottage for its location, its cleanliness and its facilities. Great for the whole family.
Lovely cottage and great facilities. The hosts have thought of everything to make it a real home from home. It was also great to see that, despite Covid-19 restrictions, recycling bags and a compost bin were provided to make it really easy to be green and protect the environment - I wish other holiday accommodation would do this! Would definitely recommend and hope to come back next year.
Having read previous reviews regarding holidays being cancelled this obviously is a regular occurrence. We booked a holiday at the beginning of May for October which was cancelled a week after booking as we were told the owner was conducting building work. We then booked another property with them, although we had major problems with transferring the booking and payment plan, we made several phone calls before it was sorted. We were trying all of last week to pay the balance of the holiday - without success kept getting told someone would call back as only the accounts department could take the payment. No one ever called back! We also sent emails but never received replies from them. Finally managed to contact them on Saturday only to be told that they had cancelled our booking (which is only 6 weeks away) due to the fact that this property has building work as well!! We were not offered any alternative properties and no mention of a time line to get our money back was told I needed to contact the Manager Fiona on Monday. I have now tried several times today to get hold of this Manager and as of yet had no communication. Over the last 45 years we have used Quality Cottages but will not be using them again as the customer service is non existent. We have now been left with no holiday, no refund and very disappointed family members, especially my daughter who is an NHS worker who needed the holiday. Its a shame that they do not work to their Philosophy "Always behaviour with honesty and integrity during whole process of selection and promotion of the holiday properties and the communication with the customers"
A delayed holiday from May, had to pay more as we rebooked for another date- paid more than we would normally pay. The house is in a perfect location, the garden not secure but lovely and done great outside space. The drive is useful for parking. The kitchen is really well equipped but the vintage kitchen is not luxurious at all. The main bathroom has a vintage bath which needs re-enamaling as it is rough on the base and not pleasant for bathing. The bed and bedding in the main bedroom were lovely and comfortable and the house very clean. It smells and feels like staying in your granny’s house! Personal opinion is that it needs a lot doing to bring it up to luxury standards and with the location it could then be perfect.
The most beautiful property, even better than in the pictures. Very peaceful and private with so many different areas to give different experiences. The town and local beaches and places of interest will comfortably keep you having fun for days and weeks. Will come back
I would never again have anything to do with Quality Cottages, either directly or through AirBnB. We had a week booked at a cottage in Pembrokeshire and they cancelled our booking at the last minute with no explanation. They will not return calls and really don’t care that they have ruined our holiday. After calling over 10 times, I was eventually told that they had double booked the property without any explanation as to how or why. I was told there was nothing they could or would do about it. Read other feedback below and you will see this is not an isolated case but exposes a dysfunctional, profiteering, uncaring company. Disgraceful.
Very easy to use site
Made an error in placing a booking via Airbnb for one of the Quality Cottage stays. We panicked when we realised this was a no refund booking!!! Contacted Quality Cottages who helped us through the process of getting ALL of our money back with no problems at all. Will definitely be looking at these guys for future bookings.
Appalling customer service, poor explanations and accountability to rectify a cancelled holiday( cancelled by Quality Cottages), then the saga of trying to get your money back on top of ruining a holiday booked last year! Avoid at all costs
You book a holiday 18 months in advance. The final payment if accepted and I call to confirm and to find out the details(directions etc). Upon following up for the directions I am told that the holiday has been cancelled! I would not have known this had I not followed up and the response was pretty poor"as the owner decided to sell with less than 2 months to go before our holiday" I then have to chase for 4 weeks for a refund. In summary if you want to be really messed round, get half hearted responses, the book with Quality Cottages.

We moved to Quality Cottages from another agency, our bookings had not been where we wanted them but we had not moved because we needed 'joined up' booking services and also cleaning/laundry. Quality Cottages have been outstanding. The personal service coupled with the brilliant marketing has resulted in both our bookings going through the roof but also the warm, personal customer service is exceptional. If you are looking for a combination of great fabulous service and huge bookings then I would suggest you speak with Quality Cottages. Just brilliant!!
What a truly excellent cottage. You cannot get a more wonderful view nor service from the owner of Seaborne Cottage. If you want a seaside location look no further, you will not be disappointed 😍
Beautiful high spec cottage- lavender on Blossom farm. Lovely grounds with little walkways. Lovely friendly, extremely helpful owners. The cottage was beautifully furnished with all the Lighting, utensils And crockery you need and want. Outside and inside space was spacious. Beds very comfortable and Wet room bathrooms. All in all a very high standard of comfort and enjoyment.
We had a lovely stay in the pretty town of Aberaeron. The village was perfect to visit during the COVID 19 epidemic as it isn’t a big tourist destination. The Hive is a lovely place to eat out and watching sunsets from The Harbourmaster is a real treat. Ynys House is quite a good size house, nicely furnished and very well equipped. There was certainly enough room for 4 adults, an infant and a toddler. The kitchen is quite dark and the photos on Quality Cottages appear quite deceptive. The living room was comfortable but it was let down by a large amount of dust under the sofas as well as finding a bead which our 1 year old could have choked on. Added to this, windows (both inside and outside) were filthy. We had most of our meals in the kitchen but, unfortunately, a number of the stools were broken so we all sat at differing heights. The house is situated on a busy main road so this may disturb your sleep if you like to keep the window open, however it is triple glazed so it does keep the noise out. The main bedroom is quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. In the smallest twin room the bathroom was left locked during our stay for reasons that were not explained to us- perhaps an accident, however we did not wish to tamper with a lock. The rear garden is a nice little sun trap, however there is no parasol and the parents of the owners live directly behind the property so you might feel like your privacy is compromised by this. The above may only come across as ‘minor quibbles’ but, all things considered, we paid over £2000 for a week. For that price I would expect ultra luxury with no complaints. The owners were unwilling to reduce the price by one night upon receiving our feedback. A lovely town but an overpriced, reasonable accommodation. 5 star price tag but certainly not a 5* accommodation. Quality Cottages were not very helpful when it cam to following up my complaint and required a good amount of chasing. We will not be using them again.
Anya is a beautiful smart and airy house, very well equipped (even stripped back for the pandemic) and tastefully decorated - mainly kitted our from John Lewis from what we could see! We stayed as four adults and two young children; it was a lovely size. The living room perhaps would have been a little small for 8 adults but there was sufficient seating. There were plenty of bathrooms and five toilets. The kitchen had top spec appliances and would be a cooks dream! The garden was lovely; the charcoal BBQ was good to cook on. There was plenty of room for at least 3 cars on the drive and the property felt secure. Morfa Nefyn is one of our favourite places: the house is perfectly located for the amenities. A minute or twos walk from the garage/shop which is very well stocked with a butcher counter and deli counter, a five minute walk to The Cliffs pub/restaurant and Cafe Porthdinllaen; about 25 minutes to the Ty Coch. We will definitely be looking to rebook!

Sep 19,2020We stayed at Sea View, Fishguard. This property has the best location, views that go on for miles and plenty of space. The house is very well decorated and equipped. Will definitely be returning.
