Sep 12,2024Retirement Line's George and Tino were efficient and patient throughout the first and second phases respectively up to the final arrangements with the most competitive annuity provider. They explained the processes that they each administered from first contact, obtaining initial information, providing numerous quotations of likely annuity values and administering the transfer of funds to the selected pension provider. Regular updates on progress by the selected provider were issued, until final acceptance when the selected Provider made direct contact with details of annuity commencement and payment dates. Altogether a very professional service

Sep 11,2024I was confused about what I had to do , and how to proceed with pensions etc once I approached retirement. I was told to wait for my "Pack" . This NEVER came . After a great deal of research I found "retirement Line" George Gilbert set out what was needed, my options , and provided quotes & explanations for me to help make my decisions . After getting advice elsewhere i decided to use their help. I was contacted by Andrew Rist who has been my go to contact for any updates. Forms were sent by post, All areas needing attention were marked , and sign offs highlighted . I have been kept up to date the whole way through , and would highly recommend retirement line for providing a clear pathway finding an annuity provider that is right for you.

Sep 11,2024From first contact with Tom H, I was impressed with the professional understanding way I was presented with various option, no pressure to proceed just good honest approach. Once I decided to proceed my submissions to the chosen annuity provider where prompt and accurate dealt expertly by Tino and Howard. My pension as now been finalised and payment as occurred. The annuity was better than expected, in fact slightly more than was advised. I would not hesitate in recommending Retirement line to any body looking to secure an annuity. Sep 10,2024I found Retirementline from an online search for annuity quotes and was surprised I had never heard of them before as well as being impressed by the 'no hassle' means of obtaining annuity quotes quickly and efficiently. The people in the firm I have dealt with, Josie Thomas (senior annuities specialist) and Terry Finch (client relationship consultant) have been excellent and answered all my questions clearly and courteously. Once I had chosen the annuity I wanted they have dealt with the process efficiently and professionally. They kept me informed throughout saying what was happening and when things would be done by.

Sep 10,2024After an initial online enquiry Tom contacted me within a few hours to discuss buying an annuity. Tom very clearly explained the options and I decided there and then to complete the forms with Tom (having waited two weeks for another intermediary to contact me....). A very easy and slick process, all completed by email that day. Terry took over the follow up process and contacted me once a week to keep me informed of the progress. No issues arose and all completed to annuity provider in three weeks. Highly rated.

More recently I have been dealing with Tino Muchirahondo who has been very efficient and approachable. I now have managed to get my small pensions that Josie and Tino have arranged for me with Just. Sep 09,2024made contact with a couple of companies regarding an annuity. Retirement line offered a better rate than going direct to Aviva. Oliver delt with all my queries and always returned phone calls. Mollie was efficient and the paperwork all happened very quickly. Annuity is now being paid. 5* to both Olver and Mollie

Paul Guy and Terry Finch kept looking for the best 'deal' to suit my needs, leading up to the time when I was actually in a position to make the application. They were very careful to ensure that no unforeseen issues would occur that might reduce my annuity value when transferring from my original pension pot.

Sep 04,2024I was about to retire and I had been recommended to contact Faron at Retirement Line. Faron referred me to Rick in their consultancy team. Following explanations regarding my pension investments Rick quickly prepared some quotations in respect of the potential benefits for me and sent them to me the next day. Rick was very attentive when I raised a few questions regarding the structure of the benefits and his attention to detail was very precise. Rick prepared the application forms for me to proceed. Roland in the Retirement Line administration team then took over the process to manage the transfers from my pension investors to my chosen annuity provider. The transfers took less than 2 months to complete which was entirely due to Retirement Line's efficient pension management and monitoring processes. Roland was entirely instrumental in coordinating the transfers from my pension investment providers to the new annuity provider ensuring that the transactions were timely and proceeded smoothly. Roland also kept me informed of the progress on a weekly basis which was very reassuring that my potential benefits were in safe hands. The residual benefits on completion and set up of the final annuity were higher than the original quotation at the outset of my initial discussions with Rick at Retirement Line and therefore a very favourable result. They don't provide advice, which they made clear and that was fine, as I was sure of my options. However they did navigate me through the complex situation to amalgamate my two pensions and keep certain enhanced benefits. Very helpful staff, Tony Jarman and Terry Finch and great communication. The annuity purchase was handled by them and I would recommend them to others.

I dealt with Tom Handley at first who explained the benefits of the various options available and provided quotations from several providers. He kept in touch the whole time I was trying to decide the best way forward for me and was always polite and willing to assist in any way possible without any pressure to make a decision. When I had decided how I wished to proceed my case was transferred to Sabrina Wallington who has kept me informed of progress and answered any queries promptly and professionally.
