Oct 12,2023I had reasonable lump sum in a Self Managed SIPP. As I’m already retired with little time to ‘grow’ my fund and didn’t want to take risks - I wanted to move my SIPP funds to a fixed benefit pension product. Andrew Ward at RetirementLine gave the best quote (1/3 increase of my funds value over 9 years) and helped complete the forms. Amy Rogers managed my case and ensured all information, questions and paperwork was handled swiftly. Amy and Andrew were both very efficient. I was quoted 8 weeks to complete the process and possibly longer due to current backlogs… In fact the entire process from quotation to completion took just 4 weeks. Thank you both for your efforts.

Oct 12,2023Retirement Line is a company you can trust.From Edwards initial phone call to Sabrina finalising and update emails, everything went perfectly smooth with no chase up calls asking for more info or anything like that, things you might perceive as bother. Everything was taken out of my hands and left to Edward and Sabrina to sort out. Magnificent service from both members of staff, kept me informed throughout with courtesy emails weekly keeping me up to date with where we were up to. 8 to 10 weeks I was told, try 3 to 4 for size, everything was sorted from all parties within this time, I basically did nothing, it was all sorted by retirement line in a 30 minute phone call and I can’t thank them enough for taking the stress out of sorting out all my pensions. You ask yourself don’t you, it’s my life’s pension money, can they be trusted with my money etc, are they a scam company, you just don’t know do you when you first set out to find a company to take on your pension, but you can trust this company 100% to look for the best deal for your circumstances and then carry out the task implicitly! I was in a business where customer service was of paramount importance and customer service is what I got in abundance, very polite, they never pushed me, they let me take my time to decide things. I’m now sat here writing this review in the knowledge that my pension is all set up, I’m receiving my monthly payments and couldn’t be happier! Hats off to Retirement Line and a special mention again to Edward Starling and Sabrina Allen!

Oct 11,2023Josie was great at the setting up stage and then it was passed on to Terry Finch to administer. The process involved transferring monies from one pension fund to another but it was fraught with difficulties due the transferring pension fund being initially unresponsive and therefore I went past my 75th birthday which causes some significant issues. Terry stayed on the case despite a number of setbacks emanating from the transferring pension fund including a refusal to transfer, wrong documentaion and may other issues. I received an update every Friday of the status which was incedibly helpful. The transfer finally went through and t best of all Retirement Line achieved £2,000 per annum more in the annuity they arranged that the pension I was in originally offered.

Oct 09,2023I contacted Paul Guy in late August to discuss options available for turning my drawdown into an annuity.Throughout the process Paul explained different types available and gave quotes for the various ones which were of interest.After deciding which one suited, application was promptly put in place and Amira Sultana took over to complete the annuity set-up,keeping me informed at the necessary points in the process.The estimated timeline is 8 to 10 weeks,this was completed in 5.Thanks to both for your help in this matter.

Sep 28,2023I have a number of small pension pots that I wondered if I could merge together so I could draw one annunity rather than three little ones. I found Retirement Line by chance and after a bit of due diligence, gave them the opportunity to give me a quote. Andrew Ward gave me a call to explain all my options, which he did in a clear and friendly manner. I sat on the quote for a while waiting for the PensionWise appointment, and when I got back in contact with Andrew the value of my funds had changed. This wasn't a problem as Andrew gave me another quote with a different provider which I accepted. The application process was easy and most of the forms where completed over the phone. The application process was then handed over to Andrew Rist, who regularly updated me with the progress of my application either by phone or by email. I'm a really pleased that I chose Retirement Line, they are friendly and they make the whole process easy to understand.
