Ease of access to the information via the website. 2. Clarity of thought by the staff on the phone. 3. Prompt responses and meeting deadlines. 4. I did not feel harassed by any marketing buzzwords and sales talk. 5. Follow through with any revisions on policy. 6. Actual delivery without being patronizing.

Jan 29,2024I came across Retirement Line's website when I was looking to buy an Annuity for one of my pension pots which was not doing well. Mindful of all pension related scams. I verified that the company was legit with FCA and Companies House before requesting a quote from them. I received an email followed by a phone call from Joshua, who was very professional, courteous and with excellent knowledge of pensions related products. I chose one out of the five quotes. Five year fixed income with a guaranteed maturity value at the end of the term with Canada Life. This gave me freedom to either take the lump sum or take another Annuity at my 70th birthday. The process of transferring my pension from ReAsure to Canada Life was taken over by Safeen. She kept me up-to-date at every stage which made filling in forms etc. simple. I am delighted at the completion of this transfer and my fixed monthly income is to start from next month. Not happy with the HMRC though who will be taking some of it. Thank you Joshua and Safeen for great service.

Jan 29,2024I set up a drawdown with the Pru end of 2019. The monthly fee seemed high but in the first 2 years the fund still outgrew the drawdown so I abided it. in 2022 the pension pot started to dwindle, but the fees remained the same, so I had to do something. A friend recommended Retirementline. I contacted them and Paul Guy guided me through my options. He requoted several times, nothing was too much for him until I was happy with the offer and completed the forms. Calum Cooper took over the admin and liaison with the providers. My fund was transferred on 22.12.23, and the new policy was in place by 28.12.23. I have a five year guarantee on my annuity, a guaranteed fund value at the end, and my taxfree lumpsum earning interest rather than attracting income tax. No more crippling monthly fees. A very happy chappy, thank you Retirementline.

Jan 26,2024Their customer service at first was ok. First point of contact was Matthew, who guided me through the annuity provider selection process. All queries were responded to in a swift, professional and friendly manner leading to documentation being sent in just a few days. Following the selection from L&G, Andrew took on responsibility for monitoring and reporting progress. At this point the process fell apart. He didn't provide me with a progress report, any queries were dealt with poorly , communication via phone to them was usually answerphone and then rarely a response. I am now having to deal with L&G directly to try to understand what's happened to my pension pot and why my original quote it's now lower than what I was quoted and accepted . L&G are now dealing with my complaint and will keep contact with me directly, i have to now deal with it myself. Im still waiting for the retirement line to send me any details which I was informed by Andrew today would be sent via email.

Jan 25,2024From the first contact up to the completed setup of my fixed term annuity everyone at Retirement Line was extremely efficient and helpful regarding any enquiries and questions I had. Danny Page provided me with quotes from a number of different providers and scenarios, was very responsive, always professional and polite, and patiently explained all my options in detail. After I had made my decision, Amy Banks took over and dealt with the administration side of things. Again, I was kept up to date about the progress of my application and the whole process was completed quicker than I had anticipated. I felt I was in good hands at all times and the somewhat daunting process of deciding what to do with my pension savings was made a lot easier. I can recommend Retirement Line without hesitation.

Jan 24,2024Retirement Line did what they said they would do, on time and without fuss. This sort of service used to be the norm, but has become surprisingly rare in recent years. Ed did an excellent job of walking me through the annuity options available in the market, and Jasmine was very efficent in her handling of the subsequent paperwork.

Putting the set up of my annuities (two!) into the hands of Retirement Line took all the stress out of the process. I would highly recommend the service to anyone looking to take out an annuity, or even when they are undecided.
