Jan 11,2024Their customer service was outstanding from first contact through to conclusion. First point of contact was George Gilbert, who guided me through the annuity provider selection process. All queries we responded to in a swift, professional and friendly manner leading to completion all documentation in just a few days. Following selection of L&G, Amanda Grkinic took on responsibility for monitoring and reporting progress on the annuity going into payment. She contacted L&G every week and provided me with an emailed progress report. Once again any queries with dealt with quickly and professionally.

Jan 09,2024Given there is a considerable amount of money in the average pension pot I was worried if Retirement Line was just a scam company looking to steal my lifelong savings, so I did quite a bit of on-line checking before convincing myself they were reputable. After contacting them there was no pressure, just fair advice and having taken quotes from other companies, they also turned out to be the best offer. I can highly recommend then and their employees who specifically dealt with my case, Ed Starling and Jasmine Cahill who were patient, professional and always available. As a bonus the whole arrangement was completed very quickly, from start to finish in 5 weeks when the average for the industry at the moment is 8 to 10 weeks. Thank you!

Jan 04,2024I have been very happy with my experience with this company. Faron was extremely polite, friendly and very patient with the many questions I had to ask him. He understood that this is a very important decision to make and it was never too much for him to explain all the possibilities clearly and available options or any questions I had. He gave me plenty of time to mull things over and did not push me to make a decision. Nothing as too much trouble for him. Jasmine was very efficient and speedily dealt with paperwork and correspondence making sure all was correct. I have been very pleased with this company's service, transparent policies and friendly staff.

Dec 31,2023OUTSTANDING SERVICE When I retired, I collated the assortment of pensions that I had collected over my working life and sent what information I to Retirement Line with a request to secure me an annuity. The information that I had varied from full details and valuations to just a company and policy number. Retirement Line put together the various options that were available to me, I made my decision and everything was put in place and worked a treat, the whole process was painless as I was kept informed at all stages of what was happening. One slight exception was two small policies that I had taken out, under a trust, out when I was in my twenties. The company I worked for had been taken over by a large UK group. This company was in turn purchased by a very large international organisation. A similar experience occurred with the company who held my policy. At the time of my retirement resolving outstanding policies was not high on my priority list, having a family member with a long-term illness that demanded the input of a lot of time and effort. This was followed by COVID which frustrated and delayed my attempts to resolve the outstanding pensions. Post COVID I had unexpectedly received details of the policies – the first communication on the subject in thirty plus years! I requested Calum Cooper and Paul Guy at Retirement Line to secure me an annuity. I cannot praise Calum and Paul enough. To say the Trustees and the Policy holder were very uncooperative and distinctly unhelpful is an understatement! I was at my wits end and well out of my comfort zone. If it hadn’t been for regular calls from Calum updating me and reassuring me that it would turn out alright in the end I would have probably given up! Suffice to say, Calum and Paul secured me the annuity I was hoping for. Full marks for “Outstanding customer care, Professionalism and Tenacity” when up against two very big organisations who were obviously more bothered about their corporate shareholders than the ordinary person. If you want a company fighting your corner, I can highly recommend Retirement Line and specifically Calum Cooper and Paul Guy.

Safeen then took over the administration and kept me informed of progress throughout, with the whole process taking much less time than I anticipated. I would recommend them and Retirement Line wholeheartedly!

This was followed up with great support from Amira Sultana. She readily chased up any issue. The whole process could not have been smoother. The annuity was in place in less than a month. Well under the estimate of 8-10 weeks. A real 5 star service. Thanks to you both.
