The sales advisor Edward Straling explained everything in a way that I could easily understand. Any questions that I had were answered professionally. Once I had chosen a product, the admin team took over. My contact Terry Finch updated me at every stage. Up to the point my money was in my bank. All communication was informative and friendly. Mar 04,2024I can thoroughly recommend Retirement Line if you are looking to purchase an annuity. Whether you have savings, or are looking to transfer funds from an existing pension pot. I recently used funds from an existing pension pot to purchase my annuity, and the whole process was handled by 2 annuity specialists at Retirement Line, Ewan Duncan and Terry Finch. Both these guys are true specialists. They searched the whole market for me to obtain the best rate available, and it was a lot better than any I could find. They handled everything. From the initial contact with my previous employer, to chasing them and my chosen annuity provider, for updates on progress and timelines. And all the while, regularly keeping me informed of progress, either by phone or email. Having seen how much toing and froing is involved in this process, it is not something that you would want to try to arrange yourself. If anything wasn't moving along to plan either with my previous employer or the annuity company, Ewan or Terry would know exactly which personnel to contact directly for an answer. This was usually resolved the same day. So in short, if you are looking to purchase an annuity, and you want the best rate available, and you want all the complex hassle handled by someone else, give the annuity specialists at Retirement Line a call. And if you're lucky, you might get Ewan Duncan and Terry Finch working on your behalf.

Feb 27,2024I am very glad I used this company to set up my new lifetime annuity. My funds were at the outset with Canada Life and then switched to Scottish Friendly . The terms of the policy were unusual and from my point of view very confusing. George and Mollie were first class in their help and getting me through them. The prompt advice I got from them could not have been better. George advised me throughout on all the various options available and got me the best terms possible to enable me to make my own decisions. Thanks to them both for friendly and efficient help.

Feb 26,2024I would urge anyone considering using this company to go elsewhere. They are appalling and make constant mistakes. I have waited over 4 months for a simple transaction in which I have had to intervene multiple times to try and sort out issues. Their tactics include changing contact details of their administrative staff. You are thinking about trusting people with your hard earned savings. Utterly diabolical and unwilling to act as they state in their documentation. I urge you go elsewhere you will regret ever contacting this company
