Oct 24,2023I was so pleased I came across retirement line whilst searching online for pension quotes. I had 3 Small pension pots which I wanted to combine to make life simpler, but wasn’t sure where to start. I was first contacted by Ewan Duncan who was both extremely kind and knowledgeable, he talked me through all the options and provided all the information I needed to make an informed choice along with the best available quotes. After settling on a fixed term annuity from Canada Life all the forms were filled in over the phone and sent to me for signing. From this point I was passed onto Andrew Rist who dealt with the transfers and setting up of my new policy, again another excellent experience, Andrew was equally as kind and helpful keeping me updated by phone or Email on the progress of my application, chasing up one of the slower to respond companies so that the whole process was completed in just a few weeks. I would recommend retirement line to anyone, the service is second to none, they do all the work for you and in doing so minimise the worries around these big decisions.

Safeen kept me fully informed throughout the whole process of setting up my annuity. I would thoroughly recommend Retirement Line to help obtain, by far, the best quote fir my funds. I had obtained quotes independently but once I spoke to Retirement Line, my quotes were were far superior in every way ensuring a great return for my investment. The whole process took a little over a month from start to finish, far quicker than I had expected.

Oct 19,2023What made my experience great is quite simple, a friendly and informative approach, nothing was too much trouble and if like me its the first time a person has to deal with this sort thing, the team I dealt with were very patient and explained things very thoroughly. Where I feel the company are doing well is keeping up a good line of communication, explaining every stage of the process. Not just e-mails but phone calls as well, which for certain age groups are a lot easier to deal with. The two gentleman I dealt with were David Brewer and Andrew Rist, both of them had the right approach, manner and enthusiasm to ensure that I was completely happy at all stages of the process and as mentioned, kept me informed. From the day one Jesie Thomas was in touch with me and explained the procedures of my annuity by going through the questionnaire over the phone and promptly sent me the application form which I duly filled. On receipt of my application she let her team members Giulio and Terry to proceed further. They then took incharge contacting Legal & General updating me about the progress. Oct 17,2023Every story has a beginning, a middle and an ending so I’ve provided the end of my experience with Retirement Line, which has had a good conclusion. While the initial consultation process with George Gilbert was exceptionally good, the administration process had a bit of a wobble, however, following a comprehensive review of the entire process by Retirement Line the end of the process has reached a very professional and satisfactory conclusion. It seems everyone can have an “off day” so I have finally concluded my annuity journey and taking everything into account I have had a much better final experience than the admin difficulties encountered which triggered a very poor review some days ago. Unfortunately the problem which occurred was challenging, however, the professional manner in which Retirement Line turned the circumstances around has fully restored my faith in the company. So I felt it was very important to review what has been a happy ending and give credit to the company for the very professional help in drawing things to a satisfactory close. Thank you to everyone involved in the review and the outcome has been one which should encourage anyone to trust their finances with Retirement Line.

They accessed the market place for annuities and came back to me with the best rate, this took into consideration my personal health and lifestyle circumstances. The rate was better than I could obtain anywhere else, even with full commission rebate. I dealt with Rick Holdaway and his assistant Amira Sultana, both acted very professionally and efficiently making sure I was kept informed at every stage of the process. He was super helpful, a lovely man, and helped me complete the necessary forms. I was then passed to Andrew Rist who was equally helpful and kept in regular contact while he liaised with the annuity company and completed the process.
