Robinson's Shoemakers is one of Ireland's most prestigious gentlemen's shoe companies offering bespoke shoemaking, traditional English footwear brands, a repair service and Robinson's own brand of off the shelf hand-made shoes.
Established Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland in 1954 by William & Annie Robinson as a local leather workshop and traditional cobbler, Robinson's has been at the centre of Carrickfergus for over 60 years. Now a third generation family business the company continues to grow from strength to strength offering expertise in all things shoe related not just locally but across the world.
In an ever faster paced world, were things rarely stay the same for long, it is refreshing to sometimes stop and to think at how things used to be done. It took exactly ten days after placing my order for two pairs of Barker shoes for them to reach me here in New Zealand from Robinson's Shoes in th U.K. Remarkable ! Upon opening the boxes I was absolutely delighted to find a surprise complimentary gift of a pair of fashionable socks with each pair of shoes. Unfortunately I chose the wrong size for one pair of shoes but after mentioning this to the company via email I received an immediate very polite response that they would replace them without hesitation upon their return. I love my Barker shoes and the service I receive from Robinson's Shoes matches my enthusiasm.

May 17,2015Recently with some trepidation I ordered three pairs of good English shoes online based a pair I already owned. While a limited range of the same are available in Australia what are available are ver expensive. Robinsons were a pleasure to deal with, changing order after paying was no problem, they stayed in contact and free speedy delivery. If I ever wear the shoes out then I shall be a returning customer.
