Mar 02,2021From my first contact with RDC my experience has been excellent. Ordering was easy, I picked when I wanted the door fitted, I was contacted the day before to confirm the time the fitter would arrive, on the day the whole job took less than 3 hours, all very impressive. Thank you.

Feb 28,2021I was just in the process of ordering one of these doors at £1200 which seems a real bargain. Then l read the reviews good and bad. I have concluded from them the old adage that it it looks too good to be true it probably is too good to be true. Firstly if a company won’t accept credit card even as a deposit avoid, avoid,avoid. The 5star reviews are from people who have not had the doors for any length of time. These doors seem like they will only last trouble free for a short time. The laser beams seem like potential trouble. After care seems to be a joke but that is probably why the price is so good. As l said yesterday l talked my wife into having one of these doors as opposed the alternatives costing twice as much.Today 28/2/2021 l feel l dodged a bullet.

Feb 20,2021From enquiry stage through to fitting, this has been a smooth, easy process. Fired in lots of questions to Rosie via the online chat and within minutes, she'd responded with a quote. Biggest thing putting me off was the fact there is no survey visit before fitting. An oversize door will be made to your colour and the fitters bring it on the day, describe how they will fit it and, if you're ok, they will cut the door width down to size and fit it there and then. If you're not ok with how they propose to fit, I was assured a refund would be given. Shopped around and received another couple of quotes. RDC had the best quote. Asked lots more ad-hoc questions via the online chat once I had all the quotes in front of me (and mean lots! Thanks Rosie for your patience). Weighed it up after a couple of weeks and decided to place an order with RDC. Upon placing an order, I was provided options for an installation date and approximate time. It was only 2-weeks away from order date so I was happy with that. I was able to pay for the door via bank card over the phone. Emails and texts confirmed the order and fitting date. A reminder text message a couple of days before fitting stated the installers would arrive late morning and I'd specifically requested first thing as I was working later in the day. No problems, got on the online chat and minutes later, it was confirmed that fitters would be with me first thing. On the day of fitting, the two fitters arrived at 8am prompt. Grant and Levi had travelled over to Merseyside from Bury. They kept the required Covid distance at all times. Grant looked at the existing installation and described to me how he though the new door could best be fitted. I was happy with his proposal - they were even able to cut my existing opening higher to provide a larger opening. They said it would take roughly two hours. They tidied as they went along. They soon had my rusty, rotting old door off and cut in half. The door space was enlarged without problem and the door was fitted in just less than two hours. The new door and the installation looks superb. A really neat and tidy job. They took all waste away with them - left their work space in front of my garage and the installation spotless. Grant walked me through installation; how to use; how to deal with any problems. I paid for the fitting in cash and took out the 10-year extended cover for £125 extra - paid this via bank transfer. Full receipts and guarantee paperwork provided. At no stage in the process from enquiry through to fitting was there any pressured selling. All questions were answered quickly. I'm taking off one star due to a admin mix up. Rosie in sales said the door was provided with a floor fitted weather seal. The door has a weather seal fitted to the final slat and this along with the door guide brushes do provide very good draught proofing in side the garage. If you want an additional floor applied weather seal, they can be purchased as an extra (or bought elsewhere easily on eBay, Amazon etc) - but they are not supplied as standard from RDC as Rosie had stated in their online chat. It's no big deal to me as the door has a good seal, but worth pointing out to others. I'd recommend them. Easy to deal with; good door quality; great fitters.

Feb 20,2021Really please with my garage door from RDC. Two fitters turned up, told me what they were going to do and how long it would take. Gave me two options for the position of the track and were happy to go with my choice which left the widest opening, even though it wasn’t their first choice as an old piece of timber had to be left in behind the lintel. Was all done and dusted in around 2 hours and old rubbish gone. Quick demonstration and off they went. Took out the extended 9 year warranty for peace of mind, seems silly not to for £125. Already recommended to friends and colleagues at work. Thanks again.

Feb 19,2021Had my garage door fitted yesterday, the 2 guys come earlier than expected, both carried on with what they were doing until totally fitted, then showed me how to use the fob and what to do when the electricity goes off. Excleelent work, looks good, 2 good guys.

Feb 19,2021My old garage door became such a problem that I had to purchase a new one. A friend had recently replaced his door through RDC and he was and is very pleased with it so I decided to order one. During lockdown my area (Cumbria) did not have any installers so initially it looked like I was going to be out of luck but Rosie was brilliant and managed to find a solution for me. The fitters arrived as planned, Gary and Ian. I cannot sing their praises enough. They spent 5 hours removing the old and fitting the new and worked late into the evening. I had no intention of being with them during the fitting but they were such good company and they were happy for me to be there while they worked. Their attention to detail and quality was clear to see, they fitted the door as if they were doing their own garage door. Nothing was a problem to them and I very much enjoyed the whole process. The finished product is superb, it has made a real difference to the look of the house, we went for Black, to match in with the front door. Thank you RDC, Rosie, Gary and Ian.

Feb 19,2021Really bad experience with aftercare department which is part of the main company, and this is how they destroy their reputation and good image of proper door installers. With few words, someone from their engineers should come to fix and replace few parts on my door because of previous bad installation. They've send me email beginning of February and told me engineer will attend at 19/02/21 and give me time-slot from 8:00am till 12:00pm, as you can understand nobody didn't attend and not only that, nobody didn't call me to tell me what is going on or where the engineer is atm, after couple phone calls and emails I received back response through email at 12:31pm telling me they are sorry about the delay, and that they will ask the engineer to call me with an ETA, but this never happen. Really difficult to speak with customer support because nobody doesn't answering on the phone.. Bad point for you guys. I am really sorry. You could do better than that.

Our installers - Grant and Levi were quick, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. They also took the time to talk us through the ins and outs of the garage door. Definitely recommend.

Feb 01,20212nd edit to reflect received customer service:- I have just been contacted by Ashley from BDRW, who KINDLY informed me that further to reading my messages and the timings involved relating to the problem, they are willing to come out F.O.C on the 22nd to recify my problem and even though the 1yr window has passed, I will be able to purchase an extended warranty for my door giving me piece of mind moving forward. In this day & age it is good to know that some firms are willing to forfeit a little profit for good old fashioned customer service. Edited review: Garage door (Winter = no use) went to open it yesterday and NOTHING! I parked my motorcycle up for winter late October and used the door just once early january to start the bike and warm the engine for 15mins. Tried the same again yesterday and my heart sank! Being technical I was able to work out after a little fault finding that one of the light guard sensors has failed. It has an amber light, instead of green. This (of course) has happened exactly one month outside of warranty, meaning I will now have to pay whatever fee they deem necessary to repair it. I am MORE THAN disappointed by this, because I will of course have no confidence in the product post repair. Initial review below:- From initial contact, to installation and then a minor callback (via their BDRW site) to have some silicone seal put on the inside of the guides I'm impressed. Rosie was very helpful and easy to deal with during the booking phase. I paid a £200 deposit to secure my install date and then Danny and his colleague came out early on the day of installation, which went without a hitch, taking about 3hrs. I contacted their repair and warranty site BDRW because I wanted silicone sealer on the inside (as well as the outside) and didn't want to remove the light curtain myself on a brand new product. again...this went without a hitch, with Danny coming back bright and early on the day stated. I've compared my door to some of my neighbours and can't for the life of me see why theirs cost close to double, or more than the price I paid! I'm very pleased with the final product and am happy to recommend based on my experiences so far...

Jan 29,2021Had great service for the installation of my two doors but I now have a problem with one and I am finding it difficult to contact anyone by telephone to arrange an engineer. As this is an emergency with the door stuck open I find it rather frustrating. I can now confirm that the engineer attended and rectified the problem, and I must thank the Company for their attention to this problem! Although I initially found the inability to speak with someone on the telephone to be frustrating - their online reporting is in fact very efficient.

Jan 22,2021First class service. The fitter was a perfect gentleman and very methodical in his work. He removed the old door retaining everything in a bag and moved the door to where I wanted it stored until sold. His manner was faultless and a credit to his employer. Operation was well explained and demonstrated. The door itself is of a very good construction and I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Our installation date had to be moved due to Covid reasons and installation engineers not being available but I was phoned to be made aware and given a new date - under the present worldwide circumstances you cannot be fairer than that.
