Absolutely fantastic service from Caitlyn at the Bridges in Sunderland. Customer service of the highest quality. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, a credit to the company.

the workers were so nice and so fast getting the shoes, they were very respectful and were so fun even if i was just paying them, i never had this much fun buying shoes even if it was just 5 minutes

Ordered the trainers for next day delivery. Never arrived of course which is par for the course. These were for my granddaughters birthday. Contacted Schuh help dept (think it’s manned by Ronald McDonald) the usual response, give me 48hrs to investigate, blah, blah,blah. Sent email to complaints dept, who wanted our full address again even though it was on the initial order. Blames the courier (Hermes) which I will give on a separate review. Waited since Friday, 5 days now and still getting the usual flannel from their customer service team but still no shoes!!!!!! but THEY have taken my money from my bank account. Stated they are going to refund my delivery payment. Never again, will I ever, ever order from this company. I should have read previous reviews on this forum which warns buyers how inefficient they really are. Be aware buyers, stay well clear and find a reliable company, because this bunch are hopeless. I will keep you all updated when this matter is finally resolved. I sent another email this morning, 13th Dec, correct you guessed right, give me 48hrs to respond!!!!!!! Schuh are completely useless throughout this whole debacle. 14th Dec Update, absolutely nothing from Schuh except they have contacted another courier to see if they can deliver. Won’t believe until the item arrives. 15th Dec, been informed that the item has STILL not been collected by the NEW courier. Useless company through and through, as previous stated stay well clear of Schuh, they don’t deserve any trade whatsoever. No wonder they have a 48% BAD review on trust pilot. I challenge SCHUH to disprove any of my statements, I shall reiterate again, SCHUH are hopeless through and through.

Bought my wife a pair of shoes. She tried them and they didn't fit - I returned them (which is a rigmarole as they don't accept returns through their website, or by going to a post office...). I clearly marked them used. A week later, they were couriered back to me, at my own expense, with a letter stating basically "because these are used, we're not accepting them as returns, sorry about that, here they are, at your own expense". Why bother with a "used" condition to tick? Why charge me courier rates for something I clearly couldn't use? Why can't I use the post office to return something like practically every other company, forcing me to find a random shop that accepts their courier label? How are you supposed to try a pair of shoes on, without trying them on? What exactly is "used" in their estimation? Genuinely a bafflingly terrible service in a time when buying online from nearly anywhere else is pretty simple. There are other vendors out there, there are other shoes, Schuh are just not worth the effort.

I phoned Schuh to enquire about Nike Air Force Low. The lady on the phone was extremely helpful and informed me that although the shoe wasn’t available in my local branch, they had come in delivery and I could order them over the phone for delivery. I chose to collect from my local store. After the call I received an email with my order details, information was clear and easy to read. The next day after 2pm I received a text and an email to say my order was ready to collect. In store I wasn’t greeted by any staff member but then a sales advisor, Hafsa, came over and apologised that I hadn’t been seen to (I was standing at the till point). Hafsa offered me good customer service by collecting my order promptly and asking my daughter if she’d like to try the shoes on before leaving. Hafsa stayed with us and talked with my daughter about the style of shoe and was very helpful.

Achtung, meine Bewertung bezieht sich auf den Shop unter der Domain schuh.eu desselben Betreibers! Bei schuh.eu handelt es sich offenbar um einen Shop aus UK, was allerdings auf der Homepage nicht klar ersichtlich ist (.eu als Länderdomain, Deutsch kann als Sprache ausgewählt werden, Preise sind in Euro angegeben). Seit dem Brexit bedeutet das, dass bei der Bestellung zusätzliche Kosten entstehen, auf die man nicht hingewiesen wird. UPS hat in meinem Fall für ein Paar Schuhe, das 94,- Euro gekostet hat, eine Nachforderung von 30 Euro erhoben. Ich werte das insgesamt als absolut unseriös und kann daher nur davon abraten, dort zu bestellen.

Ordered online 3 times and 3 times I get exactly what I wanted and on time. Never have to use their customer service. Their store in Peterborough is good as well but with limited choice of course. I can highly recommend this company.

I ordered these on Wednesday hoping to get an option of delivery before Saturday but I didn’t and they then said the item was dispatched for Monday. I have no use for them on Monday and they won’t let me cancel. Absolute joke of a company

Darren in the Blanchardstown store couldn’t have been more helpful while it was such a busy store! Having the out of stock trainers I needed ordered and delivery arranged to my home address!

What an absolute joke, placed order on website 3 times, money taken order fails, money returned 3-5 day, ring customer service to place order on hold 20 minutes then told systems down and would again need to place order online, first and last time of using this company won't be using again

This review relates to online service not in shop. I tried to place online order on black Friday and attempted 3 times with 2 different credit cards and all transactions failed. The next day I got notification from my credit card company that I've been charged 3 £1 transactions. I rang the credit card company and they checked my card was all fine. I then rang Schuh customer service. They said £1 is authorisation charge my credit card company imposed not their shop. They were not aware of the website issue and couldn't help me with failed transactions. They said if my credit card failed the first time, it would be blocked for 24 hours. I asked why my credit card was blocked in the first instance since there was no issue on my card. They couldn't answer. I used the same card to place order with many other online retailers on the same day without any issue. The error message I got online was the same using different cards so I explained it's likely to be the website. I couldn't place the order over the phone as they use the same system as online so the transactions would fail again unless I have a 3rd card to use. This left me with the only option to visit the store to buy the shoes. How inconvenient and unhelpful!

Absolut terrible customer Service. I bought a sports bag and returned it. No problem I thought- no it’s not that easy to get your money bag. In fact they just keep it despite acknowledging that they have received the return! I paid with a love2shop gift card and asked that they refund me to the original payment method. I was wrong-they simply refused and as such I lost 25GBP. Not a lot but enough to never ever buy from them.

Been trying to buy my kids Jordans for Christmas every time I make a purchase you receive an email stating their stock levels are incorrect and they are unable to fulfil the order, best part of all is they give you a 10% discount code to re shop ! Absolutely no chance. No customer service, don’t want to help I don’t think they even want to sell anything. My advice go elsewhere.

Fantastic servie once again from Renee at the Truro Branch of Schuh. I purchased a pair of leather Dr Martens Chelsea fur lined boots.today. so comfortable absolutly best pair yet. I will be returning to purchace more.

Went to schuh at Lakeside was okay customer service okay not the friendliest.. they also left security tag on socks which didn’t go off at time.. didn’t notice until gone which means I now need to go back to get it removed

We visited Schuh in Rushden Lakes, Northampton today and popped in to get my daughter some trainers. A young lad called Tom approached us and checked on his device if they had the size of our chosen trainers and shortly found stock and brought them over. He then offered to lace the trainers for us and finally took payment. Simple stuff I suppose! But he couldn’t have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We often take basic customer service for granted but a fair few companies don’t get it right at all and we can leave feeling unsatisfied with giving them our money. Not in this occasion though and Tom was awesome!
