UPS were due to deliver my item on 5 Nov but didn't. On tracking it showed as delayed with no more information. Schuh have opened an investigation with UPS but refuse to refund or send a replacement item until UPS have investigated. The boots were for my husband's birthday present. They now won't arrive in time and Schuh won't help. Even though they have them in stock and offer a same day delivery service. They haven't even offered an explanation of how long the investigation will take. Any other retailer I have ever had this type of issue with has sent out replacements.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Purchased a pair of Adidas trainers for my daughter on 17th October from the blue water Kent branch of schuh. My daughter wore them once and after half an hour one of the trainers started to give her a blister. I have returned them to the shop on the 10th November, the first time I’ve been able to get back to blue water ( I don’t live close) 1) I was told firstly that the box was not theirs? That’s the box you sold them too us in! 2) That they have been worn? How is to know that they are not suitable if she didn’t ware them? ( only in the house) 3) Then the manager, stated that an eyelet on one of the laces was missing, which it was. I then asked her within such a short period of time would you say that, the trainer would be of good quality or poor, being as the shoe had been worn once and was only two weeks old. She changed the subject and started to examine the sole, which she said had worn down. It was clear that she was not going to give in. I picked up the shoes, she gave me a fake apology, not meaning any of it. Had I have read reviews on this company I would not have walked into the shop in the first place. At the time of writing this they have a 48% negative rating.(not great in anyone’s book) I hope converse realise what a shabby partner they’ve acquired with schuh, before Their reputation becomes aligned with the poor service received from schuh, before it’s too late. I shall never purchase anything from these charlatans again.
My experience with Schuh has been a complete waste of time and money. Two pairs of trainers at a total of £150 left at a UPS access point which is not local or convenient for me to get to. I have visited the access point 5 days in a row and it is completely closed. Rather that support me getting my parcel the customer service team insult my intelligence by firstly asking if I have visited within opening hours and then when I chase this again ask if I have gone to the correct address. A wonderful customer experience to be treated as if I am stupid rather than chase their incompetent courier firm for a response. I am an avid online shopper and purchase regularly from a number of differed retailers, none of which use UPS and who offer far more convenient delivery options to ensure I get my order within an appropriate amount of time.
So far the UPS courier has gotten away with 2 pairs of kickers, there is now only one pair left in the size my daughter needs for school, I think they need to change their courier!
I ordered two pairs of shoes through the schuh website, and only one turned up. I wasnt too worried because it did say they can turn up separately so I waited a bit then when nothing showed I contacted customer services through live Web chat. I spoke with a person called Finlay who was very friendly and helpful, confirming that my shoes should have both arrived at the same time. I was asked to send pictures of the packaging, and the next day I got a call from a Cameron saying there had been a shipping error so only one pair had been sent. I was asked if I wanted a refund or new pair sent out, and the very next day my replacement pair turned up! This would have been a not so positive review about only receiving one pair of shoes out of two, but both guys I dealt with were so nice and helpful that I was immediately impressed, and my issue was resolved within less than 48hours of contacting customer service. Very efficient and easy resolution to my issue!
We had an amazing experience today at the Schuh in Lakeside Shopping Centre Essex. We were looking for a new pair of shoes for our son who is 3 years old, and we’re helped by Esther and Mollie who were incredibly helpful and friendly and very child friendly. We felt at ease and we’re able to choose a new pair of shoes for our son knowing we were in very capable hands. Thanks all!

Absolute shambles of an experience from start to finish. Ordered the shoes and 3 days on the trott waited for them to be delivered. Never arrived. My Wife spoke to Customer service and the last time spoken to them they where less than helpful. Order cancelled and 3 days of annual leave wasted, one of which was already written off anyway for delivery which we where fine with but when it ends up being 3 days it's ridiculous especially when we could of took the Children out while their on half term. Never again will we attempt to order from this shambolic excuse of a company. Wouldn't recommend. FIND SOMEONE RELIABLE.
Due to owning a Blue Light Card and the amazing discount that schuh gives us I couldn't justify buying elsewhere. After reading the reviews I was very dubious but I was going to save £20, so took the gamble.... and so glad I did! Ordered on the 23rd and arrived at 8:30am on 26th! That was with standard free delivery. Email updates the whole way. Not sure if it's luck or schuh have just had a bad run recently and have really sorted out there issues? Would not hesitate to buy off line again, love my new peached converse! Thank you.
I use Schuh online regularly and find their service really good. The last pair of trainers I ordered arrived within 48 hours even with standard delivery. Returns are easy, 365 days to return and they are free if you have a Schuh account. Good choice of shoes. Would definitely recommend.
Love the website quick and easy to order from never had a problem. Delivery is either next day or at the latest the day after. Always order my daughters shoes from her online and if they don’t fit easy to return and quick refunds
There are HUNDREDS of companies that could take a leaf out of Schuhs book when it comes to customer service!! I was buying a pair of shoes in store, for my daughter, but unfortunately the size we needed wasn't in stock, the lovely staff in the shop organised next day delivery. The next day came and the shoes hadn't turned up so I messaged them telling them and they were so helpful and apologetic, even though the courier service were at fault. Never ever had a single issue with Schuh and absolutely love their customer service...And the shoes are perfect 😁
Bought a pair of Schuh branded shoes. I can honestly say that the soles and heal are of the worst quality I have ever seen on a pair of shoes. They are so soft that stones just go straight through them. I wore them for the first time today and I have holes in them already. I will never buy again from Schuh. How can you sell an inferior product to Primark, at such a higher price? I wonder if Schuh will even care?
Ordering on website is terrible ive had to go into the store to order online items even from imperfects page it would be easy if they didn’t have errors and actually made effort to fix the errors. It is easy to order online other shops but Schuh it’s complicated not customer friendly at all.
Purchased girls shoes for my daughter to start school this September. After a month she tripped and the upper came away from the sole. Contacted Schuh, returned the faulty ones and bought another pair in the meantime from them. Schuh phoned to apologise for the issue; refunded the money without hesitation and even gave me a £5.00 credit towards the second purchase that I got off the faulty pair when I purchased them. Great customer service.
I ordered ladies black lamara penny loafers, I went up a half size for comfort, I'm usually a 7.5 so ordered an 8. They are tiny! Had to return. The delivery was quick and the shoes good quality but just very small fitting. I was happy with Schuh but have to say that after reading other review am now a little nervous about my return. Hopefully it will not be problem.
So this is my experience of Schuh and its courier UPS, should have had delivery on tue 12 Oct, received email from UPS same afternoon claiming that delivery had been attempted and as there was no response the parcel had now been dropped off at local collection point. So i called UPS customer service confirming that 3 people have been indoors all day, our front door bell is loud and in perfect working order and furthermore we have CCTV that can also confirm no delivery attempt was made. The CS agent being very apologetic assured me that she will have someone collect my parcel from the collection point and have it delivered at my house within the hour. Today is Thurs 14 Oct, afternoon and i am still without my parcel and have had absolutely no communication from UPS. I contacted Schuh CS yesterday, wed 13th, they advised me that someone from UPS will contact me wthin the hour, but of course no one did. Spoke with them again today, once again they have assured me that someone will be in touch and that i should all being well receive my parcel tomorrow Fri 15 Oct, and in meantime they will monitor my issue. So i leave it to you to make your own judgements of Schuh & UPS. Update... So Fri 15 Oct, has come and gone and still no parcel or any communication from either Schuh or UPS. Quite staggering, I'm actually lost for words. Update... Sat 16 Oct, has also come and gone, still no parcel or any form of communication from Schuh or UPS. Update... Sun 17 Oct, still no parcel. Emailed Schuh CS team last night, they replied saying the tracking information shows that parcel was delivered on Thurs 14th. Couldn't make this up if i tried. They have now started an investigation with UPS. Update... Mon 18 Oct, Schuh complaints department emailed me advising they have issued me with full refund. So i guess thats, The End, of this saga.

I NEVER received my £55 order. Despite explaining to Schuh through numerous emails I was more or less called a liar. Parcel Force told them it had been delivered and signed for. I explained that no one at my address had signed for anything. I asked to see THAT signature. Couldn’t or Wouldn’t show it. Shocking and disgusting customer service Never again would I order from such a crap 💩 company

Nov 18,2021The most incompetent rude and unhelpful staff ever. The delivery service threw my package over the back wall and the dog ate the items. There was barely any evidence left of the shoes as the dog had literally eaten them. I proved to them that the box was ripped the bag was ripped to shreds and they still think I’m lying they were absolutely no help so rude wouldn’t even offer any sort of compensation for simply the disgrace of the delivery service. These were a birthday gift and now they are ruined.
