Feb 01,2025Everything worked out well. I had my bltch's surgery scheduled, but Christmas was just paid off. I was short on money, just for a few weeks My vet accepts ScratchPay, so l made my payments until l got my next paycheck. I paid off the spay early. You have the options of autopay or manual payments. I will definitely use this service again if I'm in a pinch.

Feb 01,2025I'm unable to put 0 stars unfortunately. This has been the least user friendly company I have ever dealt with. From day 1 my payments had been set to auto pay . For whatever reason, none of my damn payments were taken from my account although auto pay was set to be taken automatically . Therefore my account was sent to collections over 200 dollars of which should have been withdrawn automatically . I will never use this service again, and shall ensure none of my direct friends or family fall victim to this same despair.

Jan 30,2025I only owed $94 to the Animal Hospital that took care of my cat and yet because I was late I had to pay an exorbitant amount. on the tune of $140 plus some change. I will never ever use Scratchpay again. I would give up my pet before I would use Scratchpay.

Scratch Pay has been there when our horses, cats, dogs, chickens & bunnies required skilled care, but we needed some time to pay off the vet expenses. In this age of ever increasing fees, having some extra time to pay for the costs means the ability to access care when it’s needed.

Jan 28,2025Make sure you understand the residual interest - you pay interest on the entire amount regardless of how much you have paid off prior to the 6 mo promotion period. I ended up financing $600 and paying several hundred dollars because I was still beholding to the interest on $2,500 i paid off during first month of promotion period. I would recommend either financing the entire 12 mos or paying entire balance off during promotion period - if you pay large amounts, but still have a smaller balance, you still pay the entire portion of interest. Other than the shock, the customer service and convenience is wonderful.
