I had a small shipment (2 antique tables and some assorted antique items) that Ship Smart shipped for me from California to the East Coast. They were highly professional, easy to work with and personable as well. Very easy process and great people to work with. Highly recommend them.

I needed to ship a couple of pieces of family furniture to my son across the country. He lives in an apartment in the city by himself. So he doesn't have a lot of help, flexibility, or space, etc. Ship Smart A. Wrapped the pieces SO WELL. No damage. Arrived ON TIME. My son's landlord had no complaints. On my side, it cost what it cost, you picked up when you said you would. NO SURPISES>
My new patio furniture was picked up in a timely manner in PA and then palletized and shipped to So Cal. All pieces arrived in perfect condition due to the super wrap and pack done at the main facility. I would use Ship Smart again and was thankful for the shipment to arrive when it did because I was actually there to receive it. :)
ShipSmart was fantastic. I tried for several weeks to identify a moving company to move some of my mother's belongings from a storage unit in Colorado to my home in Michigan after she passed away. I needed to move two chairs, a side table and some boxes. It was impossible to find a company that would manage a "small move" like this and also impossible to find a company to move bulky items such as small furniture. ShipSmart came and picked up the items, packaged them carefully and we selected a mutually agreeable date for delivery. It arrived on time. I appreciate that I can keep some of my mother's treasures.
Everything was done well, from picking up the items to be shipped, preparation for shipping, and delivery. Best of all, every item was in perfect condition with not even a scratch. Several items had hard to replace glass, but these came through in perfect shape. I'd recommend you guys again, especially for a pick up where the customer lives in a different town than the items to be picked up. You guys do great work!
Ship Smart made what we thought would be a complicated shipping process so very easy. From my first contact, they have been professional, helpful and patient with us. Everyone we have worked with is wonderful. I will definitely use them again for any type of shipping needs.
Extremely good communication from the first to the final contact. Employees at both ends were professional, informative and pleasant. My table arrived in perfect condition and the fellows at the destination brought it inside and placed it for me. They even showed me how to contact them or make a claim if I found an issue after the delivery -- I did not. Yippee!
Very disappointed with every aspect of experience. They were responsive to email questions, but did not take ownership of any issues. It was a constant bait and switch. From a price hike after taking my items into possession (provided a very detailed list to get a quote) to delivering items broken (that apparently the insurance they sold me did not cover). I would avoid using them if at all possible.
The genuine desire to make the customer …me:) happy was off the charts. Ana followed up on everything and understood my urgency to get my shipment asap! I can’t remember the last time I had such amazing customer service.
I was extremely satisfied with every aspect of Ship Smart. Rosa was excellent. Clearly explained the services, timing and cost. She kept me apprised on pick up timing. The desk was picked up on time, shipped in the time expected and arrived extremely well wrapped and unmarked. My highest praise to the whole organization.
The people that came to my home to wrap up my family cabinet,It was an heirloom for my sister in Colorado. They did a tremendous wonderful job very courteous very personal very nice to young man.
Unprofessional Customer Service Experience During Final Payment and Move Scheduling My recent experience with Ship Smart customer service during the final payment and move scheduling process left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. As a customer who had hoped for a smooth and stress-free move, the unprofessional behavior exhibited by the customer service representative was both surprising and disheartening. Upon reaching the final payment stage, I had a clear and reasonable request: to have my shipment delivered before I left for a scheduled vacation. Given ample notice, I believed that this would be a straightforward arrangement, especially considering the commitments I had made with the company. However, the customer service representative's response was far from the professionalism I had expected. Rather than acknowledging my valid concerns and working to find a solution, the representative's attitude was dismissive and indifferent. My repeated attempts to explain the importance of my requested delivery date fell on deaf ears, as the representative seemed more interested in rushing through the conversation rather than addressing my concerns. This lack of empathy and disregard for a paying customer's needs was deeply disheartening. Feeling unheard and frustrated, I decided to escalate the matter by speaking to upper management. While I had hoped that the management team would take my concerns seriously and address the unprofessional behavior of their employee, even this step did not yield the desired results. The response from upper management was lukewarm at best, and it was clear that the issue was not being treated with the urgency it deserved. As a customer, I believe that it's essential to be treated with respect and professionalism throughout the entirety of a business interaction, especially when dealing with a service as significant as moving one's belongings. Unfortunately, my experience with Ship Smart fell far short of these expectations. The lack of accountability and responsiveness displayed by both the customer service representative and upper management left me feeling frustrated and undervalued. In conclusion, my customer service experience with Ship Smart during the final payment and move scheduling was far from satisfactory. The unprofessional attitude of the customer service representative and the lackluster response from upper management showcased a disregard for customer concerns and a failure to uphold the standards of professionalism. I hope that Ship Smart takes these criticisms seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more positive experience for future customers. SO many great things to say about Ship Smart! The team I worked with was responsive, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They had great attention to detail and follow-up. Their subcontractor who picked up and packaged my large elliptical trainer was right on time and got the job done. The delivery to my daughter went flawlessly. The team provided great communication from start to finish so I never had to worry.
Everything arrived safely. The delivery process was transparent. I was never left wondering where my stuff was. Everything went where it was supposed to go (there were multiple shipments to multiple locations). The guys who delivered to Austin were awesome (I wasn't in FL for shipment and I wasn't in Denver). Everyone has been pleasant and helpful. And, the price was reasonable. I've got zero complaints!!
I'll be honest...this wasn't the best experience for us. We hired Ship Smart to move my daughter from Texas to Ohio. While the people were all very nice, the crew that packed up her belongings in Dallas were not terribly careful and several things were damaged. That said, customer service has been very responsive and very helpful in rectifying the situation.
Avoid this company at all costs. They broke the contract and acted in bad faith. They seemed to attempt to bully me into absorbing the blame for setting me up to ship 2/3 more than what I agreed to despite my doing everything I could to prevent it, and their actively making choices to make it so that all of the extra stuff was shipped. When I called them out on every maneuver they tried, and it was clear that they didn't have any actual defense, then they said they would pay me if I didn't write any bad reviews or report them to regulatory agencies! So, (from my perspective), they pretty much admitted to fraud, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and breach of contract, but then when I wouldn't shut up about it, they suddenly wouldn't pay me. Dishonest, slimy, and sociopathic is how I would describe these people. "Jim Locke" was the guy I dealt with, and he was insulting and terrible. In response to Ship Smart's response, they are continuing the pattern of half-truths and outright lies. They wrote to me that they were refusing to give me any kind of discount after I refused to get one in exchange for not making negative reviews and reporting them to consumer and regulatory agencies, so if they have changed their mind, they need to actually contact me and indicate that. Also, I have asked and asked for any evidence that an authorized person signed off on adding all of those things that I specifically, from the first communication, told them I didn't want. They admitted that the person promised at multiple to send me photos of the items before weighing, but then didn't. These people really seem to have purposely completely gouged me, wouldn't refund me unless I covered it up, and now are lying about it while pretending they have agreed to give me a refund. Also, it is hostile, unprofessional, dishonest, unethical, etc. to gouge customers, lie to them, and press them to keep quiet. You can smile and speak calmly while knifing someone, but that doesn't mean you aren't actually doing it. My responses are completely justified, and their deceit, etc. is completely unprofessional.

The people were so great. From talking on the phone setting up shipping my antique cash register from California to Pennsylvania to the 2 men who picked it up and wrapped it. My cousin received it in perfect condition. It was a really good experience. I appreciated how ShipSmart treated me and my property. I would definately use them again.

Excellent communication regarding the shipment while in transit. Delivery to destination completed safely and in a timely manner. They make moving a breeze!
