Jul 12,2023Using Shredit was an absolute joy! I was dealt with by Maxim Lobar and nothing was too much trouble. I needed an urgent collection and between Max and the Exeter branch this was undertaken in record time. The collection person from Exeter branch was William, and he ensured everything was collected in as short as possible time. All in all a really magnificent service from both Max and William. Well done both.

I had a large amount of archive boxes to dispose of confidentially and after discussing the work load with Shred-it, the planning of disposal was so plain sailing and ran so smoothly from the get go. I cannot thank Dean enough for his assistance with this and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is in need of secure document disposal. They can shred papers BUT they have chased me for money that was NOT outstanding or owed and in the end had to refund my account as I had over paid. They use debt collection agents.. Not a pleasure doing business with them so they have lost my business

Jul 04,2023I wasn't happy with the 12.6% price increase to our current contract so I had a look around for a more competitive price and found out Shred-it are charging us over double what the competitors are charging. I asked for a more competitive price from them and they said they'll lower the costs slightly if we sign a 2 year contract as they have to 'maintain revenue'. I obviously refused this offer as it was still substantially higher than their competitors and I asked how can I issue notice and how long the notice period was. I was then informed it was 60 days and if we wanted to terminate the contract early we would have to pay £684.50!! Funny enough we was notified of the price increase within the 60 day notice period and we was therefore unable object to the price increase or issue notice. Overall the company offer uncompetitive pricing, even on 2 year contracts and rely on unfair contract auto renewals to push through price rises.

Jul 04,2023Does what it says it will do, and does it well. Delivers container-bags ahead of the collection date, so there's plenty of time for sorting and bagging; and provides a collection date. And collects on time. Thanks! Helpful and efficient.
