Feb 12,2025I was nervous about ordering these automated blinds, because there is not much room for error in measuring, but all of them fit well. My blinds arrived faster than I expected, and the installation was a breeze! I highly recommend ordering swatches first. I purchased the Woven Wood Shades 70% Blackout Privacy Orithyia in Kenaf 040 with edge binding. They are beautiful, and I'm very pleased with the quality. The motorization works well; however, I needed assistance when programming my remote as I encountered a couple of issues. Customer service was quick to respond via email and telephone. My questions were quickly answered, and I was able to successfully pair my remote to all of my blinds.

Jan 14,2025This is our 4th order but several of the roller shades have issues this time. They are mounted level but don't always roll up straight so they have edges damaged and some we can't even use.

Jan 11,2025I got the roller blinds with Matter motor, and the build quality is excellent—very quiet as well. The only issue was that setup took a bit longer than expected, mainly because Matter is still relatively new and can be a bit finicky at times. I added some Eve outlets to extend my network, and they’ve been working great ever since.

Jan 10,2025Poor build quality. Had to realign shade out of the box following a YouTube video support provided. How about manufacturing and testing the products before they are shipped?? Shade arrived damaged but support says to send an email. No response via email. Why can’t phone support help? So I trimmed the frayed shade with a scissor. I charged all the blinds on day 1. In less than 1 month the internal batteries on all shades are at 80% charge with very little actual usage. At this rate they will need to be recharged every 5-6 months. These blinds are not cheap but they are cheaper than others out there. I guess you get what you paid for!!

Jan 10,2025I bought a Blackout shade so I could finally sleep in on the weekends. Shortly thereafter, I bought the Smart Home hub. Installation of the shade and channels were very easy. Integrating the hub with the Shade, and then Goog Home afterwards was seamless. The app is very simple. That said, once the Shade was integrated with Goog Home, I have had no reason to use the app. Sleeping in is great, and telling Goog to open the shades in the mornings has been nice. I would happily recommend these products to anyone.

Jan 04,2025We love our Smartwings. I was nervous about measuring and ordering them on my own, but the process was easy to follow. Install was a breeze and we love being able to control them from our phones/Siri. The 70% light filtering fabric was just what we needed to block the sun and get some privacy. I was not sure I’d like the valance but it blends in and looks nice. I would highly recommend them!

Jan 04,2025I installed SunWings blinds in all the windows in my home about 2 months ago. I was impressed with both the quality of the materials and the how well they've operated. The initial setup is not 100% straight forward but it isn't that difficult. All the products connected easily with the hub I purchased with the blinds. From there, connecting to Alexa and Google Home is very easy. I find that you do need to utilize both Alexa and Google to unlock the true convenience of the product. The blinds will only work with routines within Alexa but not Google whereas the voice controls work better in Google. Both are free products so not a huge issue unless you've already invested into Alexa hub products. I currently manage my Alexa routines through my phone and use Google smart speakers for voice controls in the house. Overall, the products have performed well so far with only one incident of one blind needing to be reset/reprogrammed out of 10 blinds in the house over a 2 month period. Note, the reprogramming required about 5 mins of my time to reset the upper and lower limits.

Feb 20,2025These shades randomly disconnect and are difficult to get reconnected to your system. I ordered some smart wings cellular shades with the matter motors around September/october. Since setting the em up initially, there’s been maybe a few weeks where they all remained connected to the Apple home app. Usually at least one becomes unresponsive and is difficult to get reconnected. Very frustrating, at least the remote works.
