Jun 27,2021New doors are great. Man that did job all on his own was very nice. He also knew his job. But I was promised someone would look at my bay windows as I feel there is a draft. But unfortunately that did not happen. Otherwise would have had 5 stars.

Jun 26,2021Although not the cheapest quote our patio glazing panel renewal was undertaken to our satisfaction and care was taken throughout the job. A good point is a five year guarantee which many similar firms do not offer.

But certainly not Smiths ,I am absolutely disgusted with the false promises from this company , despite many phone calls and being told the problem Will get resolved that day , it does not . Day after day after day . Their customer care should be born again hopefully with some actual care for the clients that actually wanted to use them. Just get told it’s being resolved to be palmed off on purpose . Such disgraceful behaviour, I’m appalled at how they behave . Please please look elsewhere and save yrself a BIG lot of stress on your family . Awaiting e mail confirmation to receive my refund which I was told I would receive on Thursday 10th, numerous calls being told it’s being sent . Nothing , I have no confirmation. There is no contract number wrote on the email sent to me for me to even refer to . I am confused to how this company have time to reply to a bad review , yet not send a reply confirmation e mail for 5 days . So sad and disappointed in the lack of customer care here . JULIE DURUSSEL

May 31,2021Had 13 windows/2 doors installed to replace existing double glazing installed some 25 years ago. Work done over 2 days with 3 operatives the first day and 2 on second day. The team worked hard and made a very neat job, clearing up after they finished. Very pleased with quality and the product and would recommend Smiths especially as I am a returning customer - have had doors, conservatory and Roofline products fitted previously.

May 21,2021Installation date 6th June 2011. We had 3 blown units replaced under the 10 year warranty about 3 years ago. We now have 2 more glazing units blown and Smiths are saying it's only the frames covered under the warranty. The sealed units are only guaranteed 5 years. WHAT A JOKE!! Why did they replace the others after 7 years? I eventually got a phone call back this morning after trying to speak to somebody for the last 3 months because I DIDN'T PHONE THE SERVICE/AFTERSALES DEPT. Apparently they are all furloughed. That sums up this company. I bet they are still selling and installing new units. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT AFTERSALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. The reply from Smiths is total lies. I didn't demand the whole units be replaced, only the glass that had "blown" with condensation between the double glazing. How can you repair blown units without replacing the glass? I contacted Smiths twice in April and was told by Jackie that Lawrence would contact me. NO HE DIDN'T! A TEN YEAR WARRANTY SHOULD MEAN A TEN YEAR WARRANTY, NOT 9 YEARS AND 10 MONTHS. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE SMITHS, THE WARRANTY IS WORTHLESS AND THE SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT. It's very rare for me to complain but feel I need to in order to prevent others from having the same experience. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

May 18,2021The reprezentative was very friendly and seem to be passionate about the business he works for, but the sale process is just ridiculous, I know they are trying to close our business, but its just laughable how they give a quote of almost £7k for 2 windows and a french door, then calling their bosses dropping price to £4k, is just not serious, found company who is very reputable, gave a price straight away with no issues. All they want is your money, will be so nice until you sign with them, if you don't which is our case, they don't even reply you back to acknowledge. Also, I don't think there is another company that takes clients card details and writes them down on paper!!

May 16,2021This is the second time in14 months we have used Smiths and we have been very pleased with the workmanship and end product. Site was cleaned up afterwards and we have nothing negative to report. Will we use them again? Yes.
