We had Scott fit our windows a very professional job he was very polite quick and very tidy I would highly recommend Scott to do any one’s windows very happy with the service

I have used this company a couple of times over the years for my windows in 2 houses and most recently a conservatory. The staff all seem knowledgeable and friendly and the workmen are very good at what they do The price is always a bit more than I expect but I guess you get what you pay for and I’m happy when it’s done. They have always come to carry out repairs when needed quickly once I reported them and I’ve never had any issues with them. I know they have been around a very long time as I always see the vans going around the town.
Front door was installed on an air brick which caused the front door to drop affecting alignment. Company did not take any ownership, they ignored my email and previous phone conversations. Cost me to replace my front door with another company as the door alignment caused a security breach (door stop closing), Smiths continued to ignore the problem. I do not recommend this company at all!!! Smiths came out few time to adjust the door but could never solved the problem while under warranty. Last contact made to the company was towards the end of year 2022. (This company tries to make contact on this site and play ignorance. Truth is they failed to put an ongoing problem right and ignored all my communication via there service process. This company had installed all windows and doors and wish I never gone with them. You will save alot of aggregation if you AVOID this company.) What I don't understand is Smiths only contacts me on this platform and not on a personal level to try resolve the problem. You have my details ring me and stop ignoring all my correspondence to you like you have done in the passed. My paperwork from Smiths states clearly what work was carried out so don't understand why your details would be showing any different. It saddens me to have delt with such a company like Smiths - Having come out so many times to resolve an ongoing issue I had with my door alignment with years of call outs and not get to the route cause of it. Then you ignored me to resolve the issue then to deny ever fitting a door. Smiths should be ashamed of themselves and take ownership of the mess they created.

Very clean and on time
Just had front door and two glass panels fitted. Though price was dearer than we originally thought, they did come down to a price we agreed on. Fitting was two weeks later than date agreed, but when it came to it we couldn’t fault the man who fitted it, an excellent job and no mess whatsoever. Also quality excellent, so all in all definitely worth the wait. That’s the reason for five stars
The work carried out by the Smiths team was excellent. The two men who came to carry out the Soffit and Gutter replacement were very efficiient and cleaned up at the end of the job. certainly looks good. If I had one critisism I found the sales team very pushy, in fact they had contacted me over several years to get the job done. Otherwise fine

Had a glazed porch sliding door fitted and it looks great and works efficiently. I think it was a fare price in the end, but they did try to over charge me by £1500 until I tried to cancel the order. Very hard sell from Max felt very pressured to go with Smiths. Worked out OK in the end, clean tidy fitters.
Once again , I am leaving a review in the hope that others will not have to experience the ongoing shocking poor service that I have received with Smiths. Timeline as follows 09/04/22 e mailed and telephoned Smiths to advise roof panel had misted up ( installed 2018 ) . Supplied both photos and contract details as requested in their auto reply.which states we aim to deal within 28 days! A guy from Smiths attended a few weeks later, confirmed it had blown , measured up and said they would return when the new unit was in stock, which all seemed fine. 22/06/22 2 guys re attended. When they tried to replace the glass they found that it had been measured incorrectly. They put back my old glass and said they would fast track a replacement . When they left, however I found that the gutter was now sagging. Upon inspection the gutter clips were broken so I rang and e mailed again to make Smiths aware.30/08/22, received a message from the only helpful person there , Although I have been advised not to state names, that it had again been reordered as the 2nd one was also incorrect. The feedback indicated that this would all be resolved shortly. However , no contact from Smiths, I have regularly been chasing a resolution to this as its now over 1 year since the issue was reported to them and all contact since September 2022has been me chasing.I recently rang the service number and spoke to a representative , explaining the duration of this issue. He seemed to have no interest in helping only advising that they would be in contact when they are ready as this is deemed a non urgent issue. Furthermore, he advised there was no point ringing in to chase as this would not speed up anything.
Excellent work done (soffits & fascias) with the job completed quickly and efficiently. Looks great and very happy with the result. Communication in the run up to the job could have been better. I had to call several times to finally get an install date.
Pleased with my new front door The unit was manufactured in a reasonable timeframe and to a high standard. It was a replica of the original door's glass, and the result was great. The door came with high quality locks and the fitting is perfect, I would recommend this company. The person who did the fitting was also polite and efficient.

I can’t really understand why this company doesn’t have higher reviews on Google, from our experience they definitely aren’t reflective of what we purchased. The sales guy Steve was very good, and 100 times better than a couple of other companies who had quoted for the work, likewise the surveyor who was also good. We’ll save the best comments for the installation guy Scott who was amazing, he fitted 7 windows alone (two of them being almost 3m x 2m) as well as a new front door. Not only was his work fantastic but he’s a genuinely nice guy who we can’t recommend highly enough. We’re very happy with the finished product and will request Scott again when we need further work completed next year. One slight disappointment was the original installation date wasn’t kept BUT I don’t feel that is enough to knock off a whole star. That aside, great product great price and more importantly three great people who came to our home.

Jun 28,2023Gary was a great salesman and advisor as to what options we could have for our very hot and very cold conservatory. Gary ran through all our options. The replacement heatshield panels fitted to the roof are an excellent solution for us now. The whole process was very smooth and the fitting only took a morning - all rubbish was removed and the site kept as clean as possible. We are now able to sit in our conservatory even during the blistering heat we have had recently and have high hopes of doing the same during the cooler months when they arrive - a top job Smith’s- thanks
