Apr 09,2024I purchased a £349 Roberts CD player from here a month ago and have noticed multiple times crackles & distortion on CD's. Today I called with my concerns and was basically fobbed off. The Smiths TV guy has never had a faulty Roberts CD player in his 20plus years of working there and my CD's must be dirty! I explained that I have also played the same CD's on an xbox and they were fine, but apparently that's because an xbox laser is better. Does he think I'm 12 and leave my CD's all over the place to get dirty and scratched!

Apr 09,2024Ordered a fridge freezer. Really helpful in store and delivery guys were brilliant too (Tom and Mike). Really quick, friendly and did a great job. Also got a price match I store. I keep going to Smiths as I am always pleased and never have any issues.

Apr 09,2024I ordered an LG OLED65G26LA TV on Saturday but after an initial order confirmation I heard nothing else. There was no response to an email, web enquiry and could not get hold of anyone on the phone for nearly 2 days. When I finally got though on the phone the response was "Your order has been cancelled as the TV is a 2 year old model and should not have been for sale" Utter nonsense, the same model is in stock and available right now from all major stockists such as John Lewis, Currys, Richer Sounds, Hughes Electrical and many others. What a Joke! Further edit: I have had to take this up with PayPal as well as no refund had been initiated as stated by SmithTV. Really poor experience overall. Fed up, out of pocket and unable to purchase another TV until they get round to processing a refund that should have been automatic.
