In every way, our agent was superb. kind, helpful, prompt, and informed. 5 stars!
We were buyers and they were very persistent to get the sale done for their client. It at times felt unecessary follow ups especially without much updates from us. Though it may be right thing to do for their clients, a bit more thoughtful follow up is perhaps needed to balance their client demands and also the other parts needs. Amy Flint was always very helpful and prompt with any questions we had throughout the process.
Tina Arkan, the sales Progresso was fantastic, delighted with the effort and trouble Tina went to. always polite and honest. Went the extra mile and was quick and efficient with the whole process. Luke- Conveyancer was also great and completed everything remotely as I was out of the country at the time.
Utterly incompetent! Arranged a viewing, took time out of my day, travelled to the property, hung around waiting for an agent only to be told when I phoned them (rather than them phoning me) that the agent wouldn't be coming as they couldn't find the keys!
We decided to go with Sold as we had previously tried with a couple of estate agents to sell our house, the initial consultation was professional, and the pictures and virtual tour excellent. Although it did take a little longer than we would have liked, eventually we sold our house, my only gripe is I feel that a little more updating, on feedback et would not have gone a miss. During the selling process we have to mention Amy Flint she went the extra mile for me and between us both, we have managed to move on to the next chapter of our lives, big thanks Amy.
Total rubbish estate agent. Recently viewed a property ' described as well presented etc'. The house was actually smelly and in a ' poor state' - clearly hadn't had any maintenance for years. Within 10 minutes of viewing this company wanted feedback! , then a hour later further communication from them stating that they had , had loads of interest in the property and so it was going to be best and final offers in 48 hours!. We knew straight away that the company was lying! However we did put in an offer based on other properties in the area and the amount of work involved before we could have even moved in . Various emails went back and forth demanding deposits, bank details etc which we refused to give ,apart from saying w we had sold and didn't require a mortgage. At that stage they hadn't even mentioned our offer. 48 hours later our offer was rejected and guess what - the property is still for sale Wouldn't trust this company with selling a Monopoly house!
People are nice but utterly useless. They took up my flat to sell. They confirmed that we priced it to sell (i.e. in-line with market expectation). They got two views in 5 weeks - amazingly worse. They don't even have any investors on their books, which they claimed before taking the mandate. Wasted my 6 weeks, and plethora of documentation with these guys. Avoid.
Started off dealing with Dahnish who was brilliant, and was then passed on to Dipesh, who kept me updated all the way and was very quick to reply to any questions or concerns we had. Overall was a brilliant experience with sold.
First contact was with Seb. Good conversations were had and an offer was accepted. Passed over to the sales progressors team to move the process forward. I had an initial issue with my first progressor, but, was then passed on to Amy who was great. Lots of open honest communication and I'm sure she went out of her way and chased a lot more than perhaps she is expected too. A credit to her and her professionalism and willingness to get the purchase complete. Overall a good experience.
This was the first time we have used this online company to sell a property. They gave us an excellent service, kept us updated on the progress of the sale, Amy’s communication was good, responding in a timely manner. Can highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.
A great pleasure working with Dipesh and Jamie from the team - they are quick, professional and clearly knowledgeable in the property field. Look forward to working with you again!
AMAZING! The entire team has been fantastic from start to finish. I had been on the market for nearly 3 months when I had a valuation with Marcus. He went over a detailed valuation process with me and my wife explaining why and how he came to the value he did. (It was lower than all 3 of the other agents) However he provided us with supporting evidence to show his findings too. He explained the entire process in regards to how SOLD get paid and generate a fee etc. Its such a transparent process. We agreed to go to the market with him and SOLD. Within 10 days we had 3 offers on our home and agreed a sale. The process from start to finish was so simple and I can’t recommend them enough. If you want a fast stress free sale look no further.
Agreed a great price & process was simple
Utterly horrendous experience with a completely incompetent outfit with very little to zero communication with myself having to constantly chase them for information, particularly feedback from the 2 only viewers I had. They overpriced my house from the outset whereby I knew I wouldn't get any interest so after 2 weeks, and many emails and phone calls, I managed to contact them and convince them to reduce the price... That's when I got the 2 viewings and nothing transpired from them. I told them due to the their bad mishandling and treatment/disrespect to me to terminate the contract after 30 days as I wanted to go with a local, traditional estate agent. They thankfully obliged as they totally agreed with me. Please don't waste your time with this outfit like I did.
Very happy with the overall process
I was a buyer of a property listed by sold.co.uk. From the offset I didn't like the was I was spoken to the cheeky sales type talk but just went along with it. When I put a offer in I was asked for a £1000 deposit which they were trying to force me to pay but I refused. I was appointed a contact which would constantly harass me, contacting me on a daily basis or on occasions a number of times for a update throughout. He even contacted my solicitor after i was unable to answer hes call which was appointed be myself which he has no right to do. Anyone that has bought a property will know things take time but he failed to understand this. I have purchased before which was nothing like on this occasion which made me consider pulling out of the purchase a number of times. The offer was £20,000 over the asking price which I believe sold.co.uk have in their small print that they keep 100% of that which is morelly incorrect. I have read many cases where this had happened. On the day of the handover I waited over an hour with no contact for the key. When I called the usual numbers no one answered. Stay away from these unprofessional, scammers and use a regular high street agent.
They talked me down from the Zoopla valuation convincing me that was overblown and unrealistic, only to then advertise the property at the Zoopla valuation. With an offer over the asking price, leaving me feeling as if I've been fleeced out of £14000, I understand their business model is to agree a guaranteed sale price, but to then advertise it at £10k over the price that they'd convinced me was a fair price takes the mickey.
No EWS1, Rolling ground rent, you name it, my sale had it. Not the best price but if you need a sale, Sold are your team. From Deborah, Ellie, Dipesh and Jamie - all want the end result to be a sale. If one is busy, another will get back to you. I would recommend them.
So far from the time I started the process to the phone valuation, SOLD. Have been excellent...

Nov 08,2022Poor service. Oversold marketing and anchored expectations very high. Not a single viewing and 'investors' non-existent. Wasted months.
