Jul 28,2022I have now ordered 2 ottoman beds from this company and cannot be more pleased. I wrote a review for the first one and feel that I must review them again for the excellent service, great bed that the second is which was a bespoke size 5ft 6in x 6ft 3in which was not too much trouble for them. I went for the reinforced base, extra deep with end opening in Plush Grey Velvet Safina Chesterfield Plain Buttons. The price was realistic and the quality was excellent it looks amazing. We did not have any problems putting it together. I was informed before it was delivered, although not so much flexibility on the delivery, but I needed it quickly and was happy to be flexibly on this it was all completed within 3 weeks what more can you want. Well done Sosoftbeds and I would not hesitate in ordering again from you.

Jun 22,2022I am really pleased with the service provided (including ordering fabric samples and timeliness of delivery) and quality of the ottoman bed. The craftsmanship and is excellent and, despite some other reviews being critical about the assembly instructions, I don't think the job could possibly be made much easier. I managed 90% of it on my own. My only recommendations would be: 1. for buyers to go for better/more expensive gliders. I went for the cheaper chrome effect ones. These do the job, however they are plastic and feel rather cheap. 2. for the company to provide some sort of caps to cover the exposed pointy ends of the bolts used to attach the headboard, that stick out into the storage space. I will definitely be recommending the company to anyone I know is in the market for a new quality ottoman storage bed.

Jun 03,2022What a great company this is only took the bed a week to come I phoned up a couple of times the first time was to get advice on the bed I was ordering so helpful and the second to see when the bed was arriving the bed it self was great easy to put together the guys that delivered the bed was fantastic so helpful I need another bed so I will be going back to sosoft beds and I highly recommend this company oh and of course a great price

Apr 25,2022I have nothing but praise and commendation for Sosoftbeds. Under the leadership of Umar they have produced some top quality kit for us. We selected a premium range king-size majestic ottoman bed with the reinforced Super Deep base and the plain wingback headboard all in Naples velvet. A minimal deposit initiates the construction of your order with the balance payable COD the day your order is delivered. As advertised, our bed arrived spot on the 2 week delivery lead time (ord. 6 Apr 2022 - del. 19 Apr 2022). We had no issues with the delivery as there were no access restrictions. The two-man team were straight in and out. The 2 base units and headboard arrived intact and were double wrapped in heavy duty packaging and well protected from damage in transit. The bed has been superbly constructed, the two parts to the base and headboard fit together seamlessly. Provided you've done your calculations and chosen a size bed that will reach your bedroom, you'll have no problem with the final fixings. The website provides an easy to follow installation guide. The Super Deep reinforced base is solid and the bed and headboard is a work of art with the exquisite Naples velvet finish. We have the 600N gas pistons and they're sufficient to lift and hold our eve king-size mattress with ease. We simply love the bed! It's been a pleasure to do business with this company. I've found them to be responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, reliable, and skilled craftsmen. If you're in the market for a special ottoman bed, you need to check them out for yourself.

Mar 28,202206/04/2022 - Said on the 31st March they can't deliver so cancelled my order and still haven't received my deposit back. Won't be recommending this company to anyone 30/03/2022 - tried 3 times to call for another update and there is no answer. I was able to build the bed I wanted on the website which was a great option, I live in Scotland messaged before ordering to ensure they delivered to my area which they told me they did but would have to pay delivery which I was prepared to do considering I could get build the bed to my specific requirements however I ordered my bed on the 21st February still haven't received it and communication has been very poor, I have contacted via phone and email was given a date of the 11th March then told it was dispatched on the 23rd March, it's now the 28th March and I still have no bed and no further update of when I will receive my order. On the website it currently states lead time is 2 weeks, I am currently at 5 weeks with no bed. I would just like to receive my order.

Mar 23,2022Seems to be hidden charges when ordering online. I tried to build my own bed - base £550, fabric £125, headboard £165 and better pistons £25. The feet where included. This totals £865 which I was happy to spend but when it came to check out the cost was £1215! Doesn't make any sense unless there are hidden costs which they need to be upfront about (given delivery is free who knows what this additional £350 is for!)

Jan 31,2022I cannot speak more highly about this company. From the first moment I contacted them regarding obtaining fabric samples right through to ordering our ottoman bed, they could not have been more helpful! The gas pistons weren't strong enough to keep the mattress up...not a problem, a stronger set were sent out to us straightaway. All contact has been via What's App and this has not been a problem at all. I highly recommend this company not to mention Hamza who is absolutely amazing and nothing is too much trouble! Great service all round!

Jan 27,2022I ordered an Art Deco Ottoman bed from this company. I have to say the bed exceeded our expectation and I would definitely purchase another bed from them again. My only issue was the delivery which I have to say was quite frustrating to say the least. This apart, the gentleman I phoned (on a very regular basis) always answered my calls and did his best liaising with the delivery company to get the bed delivered and then the headboard which got left behind. The communication could have a been a bit better between myself and the company but if I phoned I could always speak to someone. If they got their delivery company in order, I would have given 5 stars. I will definitely purchase from this company again!

Jan 25,2022Fantastic site where you can design your own bed which is exactly what I did. I designed my whole bedroom around the new bed and it turned out perfectly. I bought a superking extra deep, reinforced ottoman bed with matching higher 5' headboard, I was so please with it I asked if they could make me a customised ottoman vanity stool made to my specific dimensions and design in the same material which they did, perfect. The base is solid rather than just material stretched over a frame, there are big powerful pistons to lift the rather heavy superking mattress, I couldn't be be happier with the product. The extra deep ottoman has so much room I haven't even filled it despite having 4 christmas trees, all my decorations and suitcases in it! Only slight negative was communication at first but that was resolved and they started to reply usually around 24 hours later.

Jan 22,2022Very happy with the king size ottoman storage bed that I ordered. Fast delivery, to the room of choice. Communication good too. Waiting for another bed that I ordered, so soft beds have kindly kept this in storage for some time for me as I have been let down by plumbers and decorators and the room is not ready. They have been incredibly patient and understanding, I hope that I’ll love it as much as the one previously received. I’d take the previous reviews on here with a pinch of salt. I’ve personally received excellent service and products from them. Well done!

Nov 30,2021I ordered a bed with them back in September. To start with customer service was great. When we actually paid it went downhill. I wanted to know roughly when the bed was coming as I need more than a day's notice to take the day off work. No reply. Got the bed there's a button missing, at eye line. I informed them 23/10 I'm still waiting for the button! It has been the most stressful purchase of my life. Take your money somewhere where they appreciate you

Nov 10,2021Our bed arrived and the delivery drivers were fantastic. The bed its self is beautiful quality and looks amazing. Our son is over the moon and we will order our next bed from there as well. The lift up ottomen works well and the storage is fantastic. Had a a slight mishap with the feet but Omar was only to happy to assist and his customers service was fantastic.

Jul 14,2021Absolutely love my new bed. So soft beds were the only company that made an ottoman bed that was 210cm which is what I needed! To be able to choose the colours fabrics and style was a bonus! My dream bed with plenty of space left. Thank you!

Nov 24,2022This has been one of the worst experiences ever in trying to order something I have experienced. Unless you are specifically looking for the deepest storage that they offer I would suggest looking at other companies. This is the only reason we didn't cancel the order and proceed elsewhere. They also offer no options to negotiate a delivery date and will just give you a date that suits them only. They will then give you less than 24 hours notice to arrange the delivery. After placing the order, according to their website, we should receive a message that the order is ready for dispatch in 1-3 weeks. No further communication takes place for a month. One month later, we receive an email that the order is ready and has been sent to the Distribution Centre, and that they will call us within 72 hours (3 days) to arrange delivery. Instead, it is a whole week later that we are contacted by the delivery company at 15:40 saying that the bed will be delivered the next day. We are not available at such short notice. We ask to arrange another timeslot that will give us enough notice, but are told that this is not possible and that we will be contacted shortly by the scheduling department. After another week, not having heard anything, we try again to arrange a mutually convenient time the with the delivery company. We are told that no time slot has been organised yet, but a note has been made on our file to give us three days' notice and that they would contact us later that day to re-arrange. This doesn't happen. As we haven't heard anything, the next day we try calling So Soft Beds. They contact the delivery company and tell us that the delivery will definitely be "Monday or Tuesday", and that we will be contacted nearer the time with an exact timeslot. We cancel appointments in preparation. Monday and Tuesday pass with no word. We ring the delivery company again. We are told that it will definitely be Friday. At no point are we asked if Friday is convenient. We are also told that they "tried calling us a few times", even though we have a call log on the phone and no such calls were received. The delivery company seems to expect that you will be able to drop everything at a moment's notice. They are unable or unwilling to give more than one days' notice, or negotiate availability at all. In less than 24 hours after having the bed installed, the wooden brackets holding the headboard to the back of the bed broke. The installers even remarked that during the installation the bracket seemed very fragile. The bed company did respond the next working day to discuss options for either replacing the brackets or changing the headboard to a different style but would only do so if we would pay for delivery charges again for delivery of the new headboard. As we've already paid extra for installation and assembly, we were unwilling to do this. As a result we opted for the broken brackets to be replaced without any additional charges. It was then we discovered that there were 4 screws missing from the back of the headboard which would have contributed to the brackets breaking. It is quite clear that the delivery people were just instructed to also install the bed and were not given any instruction how to do it properly or any training on how to do so. Replacement headboard brackets did arrive in the post a week after contacting Soft Beds manufacturer. We now have to replace these brackets ourselves despite having paid to have the bed installed and set up for us for an extra £195.00 on top of the cost for the bed. During at no point during this entire experience did either So Soft Beds company nor the delivery company offer any apologies to us for any of the inconveniences that they gave us.
