In 2001, a customer named Jen was building her dream home in southern Michigan and wanted a beautiful stairway. She could see what she wanted in her mind, but the stair parts she wanted were not available through normal outlets. She wanted unique iron balusters with custom box newels. Len thought he could meet her needs, and StairSupplies was born.

Exactly what I needed, measurements were perfect! Had my builder install Wayne's cotting but they didn't do behind the stair railing so when I did it myself the stair rails were not long enough to put the railing back up. These gave me the length I needed and the 1 screw attachment worried me at first but worked great! My 3 year is now safe to go up and down the stairs and it looks awesome

I ordered a glass rail system and the glass panels were not made as described in the original proposal. I also ordered some parts but haven’t received them yet.

Pricing was good, but replacement stair treads came pretty badly warped. Inability to keep them flat has led to some squeaks.

I have been building custom homes in the Dallas, Texas area for 39 years. I have bought from many venders and dealt with many sub-contractors. This company ranks at the top along with the best of them as a supplier ! Their product I purchased was custom made treads (48"x12"x3 1/2" thick red oak) for a free floating staircase. Misrepresentation of products! I was expecting 200 which is clearly written and they sent me 1. I called and they said it was the model number and allot of people get confused. I said I wanted to return the item but the owner was too busy to talk and the return policy has that I pay for shipping and restocking fee. Stay away from this company!
