In 2001, a customer named Jen was building her dream home in southern Michigan and wanted a beautiful stairway. She could see what she wanted in her mind, but the stair parts she wanted were not available through normal outlets. She wanted unique iron balusters with custom box newels. Sep 15,2018Great product. Love the posts. Cable was fairly simple to install, but you need to be real precise with your measurements. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in figuring out what we needed. Great layout and instructions. I paid for expedited shipping but arrived five days after promised date. I was working with a tight deadline, got it done day before the party but had to work two days in the pouring rain. They did atleast refund the expedited fee. I would order again, as I think they have a real nice product.

Any issues they fix immediately and without any hassle toward customers. If I could I would recommend they get an award for their exceptional customer service. The only negative comment I would have is for the shipping co. they use, but that is outside of Stair Supplies. Stair Supplies will get my business and recommendations as 5 star everytime.

Sep 15,2018I've ordered 2 times with stair supplies, each order was custom treads and risers. I wish they had better instructions on their website and that would have prevented the second order. Also, the prices were different, I wish that stayed consistent and the quality. The first order also took forever! A full 10 days after the quoted time period. The second order had pieces that were more expensive but better quality. I'm more knowledgeable now and would order with them again.

Sep 15,20182 times wrong finish of newel posts Stairsupplies sent 2 Newel posts in wrong finish, had to wait several weeks until they produced 2 new ones. Guess what: the new ones were also in wrong finish and on top of that damaged. Now my project is more than 6 weeks late and I have to go with another supplier. At least they agreed to give me my money back.

Sep 15,2018Call and asked about dimension of box newel post mounting kit. Was told by Keegan that they are 3 1/8 which is what I needed. They came and they are 3 3/8. Got RGA # sent them back almost untouched in original packaging and was still charged 15% restocking fee. Plus i paid shipping both ways!!!! SALESMANS FAULT, NOT MINE
