Aug 26,2024We used Stannah 30 years ago when my mother was crippled with rheumatoid arthritis, so it was a natural decision to invest in another Stannah when my husband could not manage the stairs. They are reliable and the service Stannah engineers give is not cheap but excellent. I had to call out an engineer over the spring bank holiday and they came immediately. Excellent service.

Aug 24,2024My neighbour died. Stannah came and offered £100 for her £7k stairlift saying “the battery had gone”. Needless to say this was declined and the stairlift has since been installed in another house in the terrace where it works perfectly. This is the third time I’ve had to post about this scam because the con artists at Stannah keep manipulating Trustpilot to get bad reviews taken down saying they “don’t think it’s genuine” despite being given the name and address of my neighbour so they know it’s genuine from their records. No doubt they’ll keep doing this so I’ll just have to keep reposting. They are total scam artists and I wouldn’t take their Trustpilot rating seriously because they have all bad reviews taken down.

Aug 23,2024I have not written that I had a great experience. Since this is the only lift I have bought I have no comparison to know. Delivery and installation was prompt. But I do not like the judder half way up.. The installer said that the running rail had to be in two parts with a slight gap between them. Its a short staircase !!!!!! The price is high . I hope I do not get problems

From the initial telephone conversation to the completion of installation. All the staff we have met or dealt with have been really kind and knowledgeable. It has made an unwanted situation a pleasant experience.
