Feb 10,2015I ordered from Starfire and did not get enough fire glass to cover some tubing in my firepit. So, when I talked to them about a new order for one of their blended colors that only came in 10 lb bags, and asked if they could split it since I only needed about 3-5 lb they said no they don't split orders--and stopped talking. Well, I finally asked what colors made up the blend and then ordered 1 lb each of those three colors. It would have been nicer if the customer service rep had suggested that rather than me having to think of it. It felt to me that they didn't care if they made a sale or not, they weren't splitting a 10 lb order--rather than suggesting purchasing each color separately to get the lesser amount. Once I figured out myself how to get what I wanted, the customer service rep was helpful.

Feb 07,2015I had been looking for this particular item for several weeks. I finally found it from starfire. Nearly a week goes by before they call to telle it'son backorder and will be for quite some time. Because of that, I didn't have the item in time for my anniversary. They have no level of online stock check so I assum this can happen often.

Feb 07,2015We ordered a fire pit thinking it would be here in 4 - 6 weeks. It arrived in less than 2 weeks. It is beautiful. Can't wait until the snow melts so we can install it and use it. Service was great as well. Would use this site again.

Feb 04,2015Item arrived in excellent condition. Assembly instructions were clear and understandable. Only concern was when lighting the unit for the first time I found that the area of the igniter has to be fully exposed, if not the unit will shut down due to the thermocouple not directly involved in the flame. Workmanship of the unit was excellent, very easy assembly.

Even though I did not buy all of my parts through Starfire he walked me through the steps for assembly and made sure I was using all of the correct parts and configurations. I will purchase all of my needed parts from Starfire in the future. Thanks.

Feb 03,2015Went to a local fireplace shop to look at fire glass. The selection was limited (6 colors & 1 size.) They wanted $80.00 plus shipping for a 10 lb bag. Starfire had so many more choices at about half the price. Love the new look of my outdoor gas fire pit. Thanks!

Feb 03,2015The ordering, shipping process was acceptable. The color of the fire glass was as advertised and expected. However, we ordered 1/2 in size and there are many that are much smaller in size. I addition, the first time we used them in the firepit, the ones around the Fire ring were black and covered in soot. Not acceptable or what we accepted.

Feb 03,2015I had a fire pit installed by a contractor that was not working, and in fact was dangerous. I received excellent advice from your company and we selected the appropriate replacement components for my application. On a subsequent order, I needed a longer key--and the wrong part was sent. But, the correct part is on the way to me, with a return envelope for the wrong part. In spite of this last point, I would not hesitate to recommend your company.

Feb 03,2015I ordered some reflective glass for our new fireplace and asked to have the shipping expedited earlier because it was a birthday present. The responded on a Sunday and got it sent out right away. It got here in plenty of time and the product was as they described. Very beautiful. I highly recommend this company and their products!

Jan 31,2015I ordered the fire pit on Wednesday evening. It had a 4 week build and deliver timeframe. Received a call from Chris on FrIday afternoon at 2 that they could deliver the fire pit if I was open to the idea. I was and it was delivered in an hour and a half later. We can go forward with our re landscape job sooner. This is better than I could ever have imagined. Life should be this easy! Chris was wonderful and responsive to work with. He promptly returned my calls and answered questions.

Jan 23,2015I recently purchased a Fire Pit from Starfire Direct. I am happy to say that I found the entire experience enjoyable. The ordering process was completed quickly and without error, the unit was delivered in the time frame promised and the order was complete. I was also pleased to receive a follow-up phone call from Chris, the Warehouse Operations Manager. He called to check if the unit was delivered on time and without any damage. This was unexpected, especially in this day and age. Lastly the unit was packaged very well to prevent damage! Fantastic experience from start to finish!

Jan 17,2015So when i placed my order i received a confirmation email, and the next day i received an email with tracking numbers for three packages. On the day of delivery i received one package with fireglass. The next day i emailed customer service and then i called. The young lady apologized for the mix up and explained the other two packages would arrive that day. She emailed me the tracking numbers as well. Slight mix up, but all was forgotten when i turned on the gas and lit the fire.

Jan 16,2015Great customer service. After searching Google for this stuff, I came across fireglass san diego and called them up. They were rude and unprofessional over the phone. I then called Starfire direct and received a very friendly lady on the line who answered all my questions with a very peasant demeanor. I live in Chula Vista and drove all the way to Murrieta to see the color options with my own eyes. I was very pleased and treated the way a customer should be. I drove an hour back home instead of the 30 minutes from fireglass sd (blah) and installed my new h burner and glass. I couldn't be happier.

Jan 15,2015Starfire had such well priced selection and everything was so well described on the internet it was hard to decide. I went with the angled copper pan with ceramic objects and the white fire glass it turned our really sweet.

Feb 11,2015Unfortunately my review is not good. I ordered fire glass on 1/27/15. I called the company on 2/5/15 because I had not received my order yet. The woman I spoke with said there was no answer from the warehouse so she would call me back within 30=60 minutes. Four hrs later, I had not heard from her. I called again to find out my order had never been placed. She assured me that my order would ship on 2/5 or 2/6/15 and I would receive order within 3 days. Well sorry to say, it is 2/11/15 and no order yet! I will not order from this company again. They have such beautiful glass online but it's just not worth the hassle.
