Nov 21,2014i am very happy with the propane burner and fire glass I purchased. My only complaint was the fire glass calculator was a bit inaccurate. I ended up purchasing about $200 extra in fire glass. I understand that each home constructed pit will vary but it seems the online estimator was a bit excessive. Very happy with how my end product turned out.

We couldn't find the right style at the right price - and we were not going to have anything in time for holiday parties. Then I found Starfire Direct. Just a couple weeks ago I found what I wanted, It is now on my patio, and it is absolutely beautiful!

Nov 17,2014I was looking to freshen up my green fireplace glass before the holidays and found Starfire Direct on line. In order to "top off" the glass already in the fireplace, I decided to order 30 lbs. of the evergreen reflective 1/4 inch glass and mix it a bit with 3 lbs. each of the blue and crystal reflective 1/4 inch glass. After placing my order, I was somewhat worried that it might take weeks to deliver. I immediately received a confirmation from Starfire, and the delivery was made within just a few days! I poured the new fire glass in, lit the gas, and WOW! Even when the fireplace is not lit, the glass glistens. It's absolutely stunning!! The reflective glass is everything it says it is on line. Gorgeous color, perfectly reflective, and high quality. And Starfire Direct really delivers quickly! You won't be disappointed!

Nov 12,2014I called Starfire because my flame and gas volume was suddenly very low and couldn't resolve. I spoke to Kim and she suggested I try the Dust Off cans on the Key Valve and on to disconnect the burner ring and work my way backward. It worked. Spiders can apparently really mess with your gas works. Thank you Starfire. Great customer service and the best techs.

Nov 10,2014I called an spoke with Eric.he helped me with all my questions an steered me in the right direction in putting the steps in completing my fire pit. He gave me a good price on my cut glass, and using my dimensions gave me the right amount of glass to order. Fire pit looks great with the Pacific Blue glass.Erik, I can't thank you enough!!!!

Nov 09,2014Earlier this year I had purchased 20 lbs. of product on Amazon through Starfire Direct but found we needed just a little bit more. It was nice to see they still carried the same product and glass size I had originally ordered. I only needed about 5 lbs. The shipping was excellent and fast. Product was intact with no loose pieces. Will definitely do business with Starfire Direct in the future.

Nov 08,2014My husband and I are extremely pleased with all our dealings with Starfire Direct. My husband and I drove down from LA to the S.D. showroom in Murietta, and our experience there was well worth the trip. We previously had gone to other fireglass stores, but they cannot begin to compare with Starfire Direct--in price, displays, or service. Jonathan, Starfire Direct's owner, was particularly helpful, efficient, and pleasant to deal with, anticipating many of our questions and explaining everything clearly and efficiently. He also made up sample mixtures of the colors and size of glass that we liked, so we could get an idea what they looked like and determine the proportions of the various colors that would work best for us. Jonathan even has a demo container with a gas flame, so you can put a small mixture of your chosen glass in it and get an idea of what it looks like when lit up. We ended up choosing a mixture of starfire glass (specially processed so it looks really clear, without the typical green tint of regular supposedly clear glass) and gray reflective glass. That combination looks fantastic in our modern fireplaces, and we get lots of compliments on it. We're very grateful to Jonathan and Starfire Direct for making our fireglass purchase so smooth and successful, and we highly recommend them, with no reservations.

Nov 05,2014I'm building a fire pit and asked for some ideas on what type of fire glass to use, so I submitted a photo of the design intended and not only did I get some suggestions on the type of glass to use, but I also received some really great support in how to make it a reality! Thanks to Erik and the design team at Starfire direct.....my project will be awesome when finished!

Nov 04,2014Their customer service rep alerted us that our item we had just ordered was unavailable until 4 weeks and wanted to know if we still wanted the item and offered us a similar item, but we chose to wait and her quick response was very assuring that our order was going to be delivered. Two days later we were notified that our order was shipping.
