Jan 31,2025Michael was very pleasant and professional as all of TaxRise Representatives are, he took the time in trying to help in resolving my payment with TaxRise and Covered Care Management he assured me that my payment was canceled and taken care of on their end and that Covered Care should be receiving information from them within a week to canceled my loan so I appreciate that from Michael thank you.

Jan 30,2025UPDATE: 02/27/25 - We received our release agreement through DOCUSIGN - Terminated our contract with them and received a full refund that should be sent to us through our original debit card/Checking account within 5 days, they have also canceled the Loan agreement for the Balance due (Our Loan Company). I sincerely wish all of you the best in your pursuit of Justice/Refund with this organization. The Strickland Family We contacted Taxrise in October of 2024 - we were already in an installment agreement with the IRS - our income dropped significantly. We contracted them to provide an offer in settlement. Paid them 500.00 retainer - then after them evaluating our case - said they could assist in getting our debt reduced to near zero. The offered this service for an additional 7000.00 fee. We paid in full in October. It is now January 2025, our case manager has never called, never reached out, we get nothing but voicemail, the only form they have ever asked for is to fill out another installment agreement form through our portal, which is not what they offered. We are now pursuing a full refund as this is clearly a fraudulent organization that never intended to help us. We expect a full refund, will keep you all informed as to our progress. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TAXRISE, YOU WILL GET NOTHING BUT LOSS OF YOUR MONEY!!!! UPDATE: 02/07/2025 - I met with the representative from the Taxrise Customer Service Team to discuss our Refund - They stated that there is currently no Guarantee that they can provide any specific outcome or Solution for any individual situation - All solutions are fluid and may change over the investigation - However they are reviewing our account and will determine if any promises of outcome were made during the sales phone calls. They now have 48 Hours to determine our refund process and amount - I sincerely hope they come to the only conclusion they can - They promised something that could not ever deliver - Thus Fraudulent and deceptive marketing practices. Our Lawyer is prepared to step in after Monday to file suit if necessary. Will keep you up to date. UPDATE****02/25/25 - Taxrise has now delayed our submission to the IRS for another 3 Weeks - Put us back into the DELAY Show - and even had the Audacity to ask us to provide our Bank Account information even though our account is paid in full. We have now Retained a successful Lawfirm in CA and Texas who has successfully Sued and recovered their clients Money. We have done extensive research on Taxrise and will provide this information to all consumers. 1. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TAXRISE - THEY ARE A MONEY SCAM OPERATION THAT USES HOPE/DESPERATION TO VICTIMIZE FAMILIES 2. THERE IS TRULY NO FRESH START PROGRAM IN THE IRS - THERE ARE 4 PROGRAMS THAT THE IRS USES TO REDUCE DEBT - INSTALLMENT AGREEMENT, PENALTY ABATEMENT, OFFER IN COMPROMISE, NO ABILITY TO PAY - ALL 4 CAN BE DONE THROUGH A SIMPLE PHONE CALL TO THE IRS - NO COMPANY CAN EVER PROMISE YOU A RESOLUTION BECAUSE EVERY CASE WILL BE EVALUATED BY THE IRS 3. Jan 28,2025Please and I mean Please do not use this company, they have not done anything but take my money. I've been with them for 4-5 months and the whole time they were supposed to be working on getting my debt lowered and as of today the debt is still the same and one of the case managers was really rude when I asked her about what have done. So, yesterday I broke down and called to IRS to get back into good grace with them since I haven't paid them in months and I'm sure they have not paid them with any of the money I've given them. The agent I talked to told me that NO ONE has working on my behalf and that they hear about these kinds of companies are SCAMERS. The IRS actually has they're on programs that are legit.

Jan 28,2025Do what you claim and promise. As per what you sold us as your services, the IRS adds compounded interest to our original tax debts. You claim to have the ability to negotiate with the IRS and help your clients get a better and lower settlement than what the IRS is charging us in total taxes. My total tax debt was $45000/- This was inclusive of interest charges compounded over a period of 5 years. All you did was lie to us. The settlement you came up with was nothing. I still owe $45000/- in back taxes. And you have not negotiated it down even by a single dollar. Plus, now I have already paid You guys almost $10000/- for Your services, or lack thereof. So at this point, I’m way deeper in debt than before I hired you guys. After hiring You guys, I still owe the IRS the total original amount of my back taxes of $45000/- plus $10000 has been squeezed out of my pocket to pay You guys for ZERO services. You guys are nothing but a polished scam.

Jan 24,2025They take your money while making you do basically everything yourself with the claim that they'll do more for your case afterwards. After my initial payment and my sending them my paperwork along with my documents that they said they needed for my case, the only further calls I received were that I needed to call the irs to have them unlock my tax records before taxrise can see my tax records. I called the irs and they said that there was no lock on my tax records then the irs scheduled an in-person appointment, which i had to drive literally 2 hours out of town each way to go to. The irs simply told me that I just needed to redo my taxes for the year tax rise claimed they'd help me with with a specific document since that special document shows that I was a victim of tax-relate identity theft while also explaining to me that they don't know what tax rise was talking about when I asked about if that's why I was told by tax rise about my tax records being locked because according to the irs there was no lock on my tax records. I managed to get my taxes that tax rise claimed to help me with completed, not by tax rise but by an accountant here in town. Tax Rise never touched my case or even called me again after I talked to the irs in person until after I contacted them about canceling my services with them After I canceled my services with them I requested to be refunded my payment I made to them. I was told by a success supervisor for taxrise that they can't provide refunds past the 3 days after their initial phone call to me, which any phone calls that they made to me talking about my actual tax records rather than just talking to me about what paperwork they need from me was well past that 3 day deadline for any refund. They are not worth the money or the Hassel of dealing with, you'll have better experience and actions by just working directly with the IRS compared to services with Taxrise.
