Diandre Lopez and Isabelle Gonzales are my tax handling case managers. Victor is the case specialist. They are professional at what they doing. We were very worried at first if this getting us to no-where, and paid $6600 upfront, let us in very low budget range to spend on other monthly basics. Lost job, it is a night mare, as we really struggle to spend every expenses, and plan, and work hard to get by. Sleepless nights, I hope Tax Rise team can assist more troubled tax payers down the road. We only need to have faith at their expertise, let them handle what they good at. We will keep all posted, the outcome.
Taxrise is great they will make sure that they call it doesn't matter how many times to get in touch with you. Friendly they are working hard with my case to meet expectations.
Tax Rise is an excellent service and one of the best decisions I’ve made. I worked with their associate, Michael Yanez who guided me through the entire process flawlessly. It took time for sure, but if you follow the advice given and the timeline, you should have as fantastic an outcome as I did!
Very impressive group. Were able to get everything straightened out with the IRS and they were even able to get penalties reversed.
I had worked with TaxRise in the past and they had negotiated a settlement where the IRS had agreed that the debt from 9 years ago was uncollectible. Yesterday I received a statement from the IRS demanding full payment in 15 days. I called TaxRise and the agent pulled up my file, verified my understanding was correct, and gave me quick, easy to follow info on what to send them and it will be resolved. It took me longer to do this review than to handle the issue. I highly recommend the pros at TaxRise.
Everyone at Tax Rise has been a tremendous help; particularly Sahar Olomari at assisting with my tax concerns.
I appreciate your service
Very helpful and easy to work with
David W was very informative and courteous. He explained everything and ensured that we understand the process. He also walked us through the customer portal to ensure we knew how to access it. He was very patient with us and understanding. David is a great asset to represent us and TaxRise.
The representatives at Tax Rise are the best
Araceli was very helpful! She came up with a solution to a problem that I had that really helped give me a little bit of breathing room, and I appreciated her flexibility and willingness to help. it was a very positive experience working with the billing department. Thank you again for your compassion and generosity.
Great customer service.
The company is calling people illegally in violation of the TCPA. If they are breaking one Federal Law I am sure they are breaking more. DO NOT TRUST THEM.
The representative was very helpful. He has given me some options to help take care of my proplems
Finally paid Taxrise in full, however, they have not responded to my emails, calls or text from their portal. When I still owed money, they were calling frequently with updates, but after I paid them in full, NOTHING from them.
Taxrise agents are courteous and professional; they respond to your inquiries and provide updates upon request.
I have been very confident working with tax rise over the last couple of months. Their communication level is stellar and anyone I speak to is very courteous professional, and always knows the answer to my questions.
Do not trust what they say. I inquired into Taxrise services because I was looking into applying for a payment plan with the IRS in which I did not have to pay interest or, for a potential complete forgiveness. Paid Taxrise $375 to look into that and for my case the forgiveness option was not possible. So far no problem. Looking into the other option though, when asking questions to see if it would make sense to proceed, some of the most critical information I needed for making my decision to accept their service or not, was either on purpose (or by ignorance) hidden from me. My debt with the IRS was only about $8500. I specifically asked if during the application process the IRS was going to stop the accruing of interest against me. The Taxrise agent said yes, which turned out NOT to be true. The case takes months to get a final approval, and during all that time, the interest keeps growing against you, it doesn't matter that Taxrise already sent your case to the IRS, the interest never stops until your case is approved. Another super misleading information I got was that there was a penalty on top of the amount I owed to the IRS, that supposedly they were able to negotiate so I didn't have to pay it. I asked, I hear you talking about a penalty but I see a very specific amount on the IRS letter, which does not mention the word penalty anywhere, it says amount owed including interest owed up to the moment. Are you saying I pay this total amount right now and on top of that I will get another bill with the "penalty"? The agent said yes, and added that for my case the estimation of the penalty was about $400. I contacted the IRS and they said that was not true, that if I pay the full amount specified in the letter, that was going to be enough to cover the debt. Once I realized all the inaccurate information they were giving me, I put all that into an email, including screenshots from my conversation with the IRS, sent it to them asking for the cancellation of my case and a full refund but they rejected my request. In addition to all that, deep into the process, I get a phone call in which they inform me for the first time that if there's any credit in my favor after my tax filing of the year, the IRS was going to automatically keep it and add it as a payment to my current debt. That would have been good to know from the beginning since I had installed some energy efficient equipment at my house and knew I had some tax credits coming. So, inaccurate information from the beginning (I would record your conversations with them if you have already started a process), paid a total of about $1800 for nothing because first, the interest kept accruing against me for months, and second, when finally my case was approved, I had already mostly paid the whole debt because the IRS kept all my tax credits. In conclusion, had I had the right information from the beginning I would have easily concluded that their services were not a good fit for my situation. Do your research, take the time to record everything they say and make sure it is crystal clear by email, that way you don't fall for what seems to be cheap sales tactics to add the next uninformed customer to the list.
Very helpful and kind, professional service. I’d give 5 stars but I believe we never stop learning and always room for improvement. Thank you

Jul 01,2024Complete waste of my money and time. No one should call or use this company. Absolute rip off. My first phone call with a TaxRise rep, I was told they could reduce my total amount owed, or reduce my monthly payments. I paid the small fee for them to do an investigation to see if they could actually help. They concluded after about 2 weeks that they could "completely help me reduce my tax issues." I then paid them $9,500. 9 months later, I had a different person call me almost every time they communicated, saying they were my new case manager (went through like 4?). Throughout the whole 9 months I was told (sparsely) what was occurring, and I was told NUMBERS of what their expectations were. Long process, but seemed to be going in the right direction. Almost 10 months in, I get my 'final resolution' and it is completely different than the numbers they had been telling me about since day 1. I am now paying more monthly than I was before I called them, and still owe the full amount. So I am now almost $10k behind where I started before I called them because of how much I had to pay TaxRise. When I asked about why my numbers were SO EXTREMELY different, they 'investigated' and apparently had been doing my numbers wrong for 9 months. Meaning 9 months ALL those various people were incorrect on everything they told me, and they are supposed to be experts?? They did not hold up to their representatives statement of being able to 'reduce my total owed or my monthly amount' at all. They offered no refund, and basically didn't own up to their 'guarantee' or mess ups at all. Their mediocre attempt at appeasement was to offer to 'do my 2024 taxes for free'. I hope anyone needing help with Taxes finds a company that can actually help them or speak to the IRS directly instead. DO NOT USE TAXRISE.
