Jan 12,2022It’s a solid course with some great tools. I’d have liked a more proactive learning and practice style as a lot of its webinars and working unsupervised with fellow students. In the end it was my fellow coachees who got me through. But if you get this diploma you are on the right road to be an credible, authentic coach.

Jan 07,2022It was a great experience to be part of the Soft Skills Training and Development Program that was hosted by Deon and Amandah recently and what better time than to start the year on a high! This was not just the normal motivational talk on how to stay positive and motivated in your job. This program gave me so much to reflect on with regards to where I am in my career yes, but also my personal life and my health. I have taken so much from this program and definitely felt the need and importance to touch base with myself more often throughout the year to assess where I’m at in certain areas of my life in certain times and if needed to pull myself back up and get realigned. #sight of the bigger goal #small changes gets you to your goal #planning is key #TRUST

Jan 06,2022I've really appreciated being able to work through the materials at my own pace, towards my coaching certificate. It took me a while to get started with the online system but once I'd implemented all the advice given in the materials, I made steady progress. I've just received notification that I've passed, so I'm elated. I'm now moving onto my next level qualification, a diploma in Small Business Coaching and can't wait to take advantage of all the other learning opportunities with the Coaching Academy.

The modules and practical sessions are engaging and the Support Team are always on hand, no matter how big or small the question. The Academy supports its students and also those that have already qualified with them which enables you to feel confident and as though you have a positive team always behind you, and on hand whenever. Jan 05,2022I did the Personal Performance Diploma with The Coaching Academy 2020-21. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and learnt so much. My coaching skills have significantly improved despite only studying online. There was one module that was more of a sales pitch than teaching which was a shame, but otherwise a good course. Very helpful staff when I emailed with questions.

Dec 22,2021I completed my Personal Performance Coaching Diploma with The Coaching Academy. This was my first journey into becoming a coach and I found the course content to be comprehensive and given by knowledgeable and experienced tutors. The emphasis on practical coaching is important as it is a practical skill that makes a coach in addition to technical understanding. I especially liked the SFEDI level 5 Diploma option to support coaching development. I recommend The Coaching Academy for training of coaches.

Dec 21,2021Discovering The Coaching Academy for my personal aspiration to grow, develop and qualify as a life coach, was the best discovery I made. The Coaching Academy offered a two hour introduction which provided me a full overview of what to expect, it was clear, it set the scene on what impact this journey would make on others and on myself. Through the course, there was a good balance of self paced learning, interactive accelerators, peer to peers, informative webinars and supportive mentoring sessions. Alongside the course work, the requirement to put the learning into practice through practical coaching sessions drove confidence and strength as a coach, the feedback is clear, specific and supported growth. Above all the TCA facilitates a community culture to meet new coaching students, qualified coaching students and the information through this network is invaluable. Overall I felt supported, knowledgeable and feel I have grown so many tools and techniques to manage my own personal journey as well as feeling fulfillment from helping others grow and achieve.

Dec 21,2021I think the content of the course is good and the course tutors are experts in their field and really good at getting across the content in webinars and mentoring sessions. Upon finishing the course I felt ready to coach. I did however find the delivery of the materials old fashioned - hard copies in a ring binder… and the online portal is really frustrating to use and a horrible interface. As a predominantly distance learning course I think the student portal is really important and webinars of PowerPoint slideshows and 3h long seminars video’d from the back of a room just didn’t cut it, especially for the cost of the course.

Dec 20,2021I have enjoyed the opportunity to become a Qualified Life Coach and the support and presentation of the course from The Coaching Academy has been excellent. Very professional and the material, systems and options are very extensive and easy to follow. I would like to say that I feel I have definitely developed and growth over this past 14 months and now appreciate myself a lot more and looking forward to helping other people in their lives to enjoy life as it is meant to be enjoyed. The session was information and engaging but very challenging to seat in front of your computer on a Saturday. I'm a full-time nurse and planning a career transition, its very difficult to connect during week days.
