Apr 24,2022Good quality accelerator session today. Sarah's knowledgable and her pace was really great. I was able to listen as well as making notes at the same time. I enjoyed the interactions with my peers and was able to make some connections.

Apr 20,2022Wow! Submitted my papers for the diploma after 15 months with The Coaching Academy. An amazing journey that has been transformational. From day 1, the ease of registering, the resources, the support team, mentors, facilitators and of course the huge community to practice with. The combination of modular learning, structure of the diploma and the vast amount of collateral has made this a fantastic investment. Thank you to all the stakeholders above at TCA, and Sharon Lawton and her team doing an amazing job! Special shout out to the support team whose response times are a benchmark to follow!

Mar 25,2022The course was delivered with simplicity and expertise. The learning environment was really cool and relaxed, and it was easy to grasp the technical aspects of DISC through the examples used. There was good diversity in the training population and good interaction.

Mar 20,2022As a student should is well into their studies I did not find this accelerator as useful as I might have last year. While TCA say that the order you do the accelerator modules in does not matter I would take issue with that statement. While it may not matter to TCA for students the order does make a difference to your learning. You ideally want the foundational modules like GR and OW early on on your training as they form the foundation for everything else. Delivery team did really well and ran the course in a very professional manner. For me I would have liked more time in breakout spaces to practice and really get into the course material. But I would also prefer face to face training. The online zoom format really does not work for me.

Mar 20,2022Although the content was good quality and the use of Zoom accomplished, it felt as through TCA was churning out information for a large group 'en masse'. Also, someone joined by phone and, despite the zoom link giving the option to do this, they were told they couldn't participate because they couldn't use Zoom fully. If thus is the case the joining instructions need changing because this is misleading.

Mar 16,2022I have completed the PPD coaching course (Personal Performance Diploma) which I managed in just over 12 months. The course materials, the training, the trainers, the mentors and fellow students make this an experience that completely changes your life. My personal relationships have benefitted greatly. My personal physical, phsychological and emotional health have all improved exponentially. TCA is clearly an organisation that takes the education of individuals to coaches very seriously. It is evident in the course structure and materials that everything has been thought out, tried, tested, measured, ammended leading to the course as it exists today - one that truly inspires and changes lives. The individual student, and everyone who benefits from their coaching. I am deeply proud to be a TCA student and highly reccommend anyone considering doing their studies here, do it. From my research the most professional, experienced and comprehensive organisation. Stop thinking about it, do it. You won't regret it that I assure you!! I am proudly a coach and I am excited to continue building out my business and positively impact the world with my ethics in place as I know what I am doing thanks to my studies!! Do it, you got this!!

There was a good balance of activities, including opportunities to learn with other students in breakout rooms. I left the training with clear ideas about how to improve my coaching practice and how to use the helpful tools shared. Thank you

Apr 25,2022The Coaching Academy offers a diploma in performance coaching online which I subscribed to and completed over 18 months. Due to COVID pandemic, all courses migrated to online platform so all of the training sessions and peer networking was online which worked well and accomodated remote and flexible participation. What worked well and areas for improvement as follows; 1/ Initially in 2020, we had some very experienced and talented trainers who provided well rounded guidance and workshops - they left and were replaced by junior staff who had graduated from the diploma in recent years. There was a dominance of white women - which is a major gender and ethnicity imbalance which requires attention. 2/ The course materials are comprehensive while the training resource platform needs some updating eg, better search engine functions for how to find materials and resources on specific topics. 3/ The paper work could be reduced as we were required to write learning records for every training session, every client, every session that constituted a learning event. This could be integrated into the learning synthesis papers at the end of each module which is also a requirement - as there are detailed modular learning review requirements. 4/ It felt like the Coaching Academy markets their products during our studies/online course work - eg, 'special offers' and selling short courses - which is not necessary during your studies and the short course events are all online if students are interested in signing up for niche workshops. 5/ I received the diploma having qualified and fulfilled the course modules and practicals - but there is no alumni or support around what happens once you graduate - this could greatly improve the affiliation with the coaching academy ongoing. Overall its a solid course while there was also a very active peer network and engagement in peer coaching and exchange. Thanks for reading this and taking action on the feedback.
