I was originally meant to do my internship in 2020, but COVID made it not possible. The Intern Group, however, kept my internship available for two more years until I was in a position to do it again. They gave me very detailed and helpful information on getting to my internship from my accommodation which was quite a distance to travel and my biggest concern at the start. The internship itself was a real eye opener, seeing first-hand how a charity deals with all the donations and goods it receives and sends to places in need and there was a variety of nationalities working there which made it feel extra global and exciting. Hong Kong itself is a wonderful city; very friendly, clean and easy to navigate and the events organised by the Intern Group felt very relevant to the city and really got oneself immersed in the culture. Special shout out to Agnes who was always available to answer any questions, was very helpful with getting my phone set up for Hong Kong, showed me some great places around the city and treated me to the best burger I have ever had! The only negative would be the distance to travel to and from work every day. The Intern Group, however, did set me up with a travel card with enough money on it to cover the cost for the entire duration.
After joining the Intern Group for a week, I was offered an interview and a place to do my internship remotely during the summer. The Intern Group team have been very supportive, and my supervisor was empathetic, compassionate and patient with me. Overall, I'd highly recommend anyone struggling to find an internship whilst studying at uni or for graduates to invest in the Intern Group :D
Really enjoyed time spent with interngroup in New York. Offers great trips weekly and allows a lot of time to socialise between interns. Our supervisor Brian was also very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this program.
As the title suggests my time in New York with The Intern Group has been fantastic and has genuinely given invaluable experience, perspective and confidence for my career path ahead. I’ve loved New York and thanks to TIG I now feel like I want to stay here long term. Brian (who was our main contact at TIG and city guide) was helpful, fun, approachable and ran weekly enjoyable trips for interns.
My internship in Bangkok was a great experience! It was fun getting to explore a new city, learn new culture, and interact with locals and foreigners! Would recommend checking it out!
This is my second program with The Intern Group. I did a London internship many years ago and the remote internship this time. Both times, The Intern Group staff have been very helpful, respectful, and understanding throughout the entire process. They're always available, give me advice when needed, prod me when I'm hesitant, and encourage me when I'm down. (Shoutout to Natalia Gaete, Yanin, Manami, Valeria and Ines!) In addition to facilitating an internship opportunity, The Career Advancement modules, Keynote Speaker Series, Speaker Workshops, Virtual Team activities, Alumni success coaching session, and 3-month therapy with Talkspace all add incredible value to the program as well. Especially amazing are the private workshops with widely successful yet wonderfully friendly individuals who encourage asking questions during the session and always offer to connect on LinkedIn. The Intern Group does their part well and I believe that so long as the candidate does their part too (by knowing what field to go into, keeping an open mind, properly fielding the companies offered, and being proactive), the program grants an amazing opportunity.
I wanted this to be an opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone and grow as a person as well as professionally. The Intern Group made that possible and I believe the past 3 months have been some of the best of my life. The people here are amazing and the support we got from TIG while here (especially from Lalita and Lucía) was incredible.
Had a great experience with the Intern Group, the staff are all super friendly and helpful. The process was very simple and the Internship was very fun and rewarding. Would definitely recommend.
Words will never be enough to describe the impact this experience has had in my life. With The Interngrop you’ll have the fantastic opportunity to put your self in a work environment for the first time and also to meet amazing people. Highly recommend!
Loved it so much! Once in a lifetime experience that I’ll never forget. The Intern Group did so well to accommodate my needs and held so many intercultural events. Once I wasn’t feeling to well and had to miss one. Yet the intern group provided me an alternative with no extra hassle or cost! Very happy I did this!
Absolutely insane in the best way possible! I did a lot of traveling because my internship was hybrid. Visited 6 different countries and learned how to work while traveling. My Internship was in brand management. Super creative and I learned so much from my boss Paz at Aitaca! It was everything I could have hoped for and more. I want to go back as soon as possible!
I loved interning in Madrid! It was more than just an internship, the people and the cultural experiences made it worthwhile. Best 2 months of my life.
It was great. Brian was also really helpful and was a great guide around the city
I had a great time, and Brian was amazing, he made sure i got the most out of my experience!
Doing an internship with the intern group is a great experience. You meet amazing people from all over the world, get cool sightseeing tours with an amazing experience coordinator, and gain professional experience - all in one of the greatest cities in the world! I can totally recommend it!
It’s been an eventful few months of my life. I came to HK for an internship but I got to see what the HK lifestyle was really like. Agnes was a really great help and friend. There are many things to see in HK but she tries to show us to the ones that are most exciting to experience like Victoria Peak Dinner, Cheung Chau, Lamma Island, and HK Heritage. There are also other events that we can request for like Aqua Park, where they have very big inflatables that have obstacles. We can also request for what we want to see or eat and she will set it up for us. She makes sure that everything is okay and takes her time to bring me around to do things that most locals do on a day to day basis, which is super amazing as it’s hard to find these local places online. Despite Covid and having to go through quarantine, it was very fun and eventful especially getting to know and explore with Agnes. Overall, I learned a lot about HK from Agnes and I’m grateful that I had her throughout my experience in HK.
The Intern Group's summer internship program in NYC was a once in a lifetime experience for me. The internship alone was incredibly fulfilling and beneficial to my future career, but what makes it such a truly exceptional experience is the community. Living in the same building as other motivated interns my age and going on frequent group trips allowed me to build deep connections with people from all over the world. Being able to experience NYC with such friends is a large part of what made the program so much more than a typical summer internship experience.
I did the New York program and I can’t recommend it enough. You get amazing work experience and make life-long friends! I had the best 8 weeks of my entire life.
It was great to be an intern in New York. I had learnt a lot and it definitely was an unique experience. The staff there were great and made sure that everything was going smooth. Definitely recommend this program to anyone thinking of doing an internship abroad.

Oct 12,2022My name is Shirin Alhroob, and I wanted to share a little about my experience as an intern with The Intern Group/ Transputec company. I am a student, wife, and mother of three; I am jointly pursuing a B.S. in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management and an M.S. in IT and Management. I am deeply inspired to learn, serve others, and create the best possible life for my family and me. I was so happy that the Admissions Team of the intern group had identified me as a highly talented individual with the promise to thrive. They confirm my acceptance into their award-winning internship program. They arranged for me an interview with an IT company on April 6, 2022, Transputec Inc. After my interview with Transputec company, the intern group sent me congratulation and let me know that Transputec was impressed with me and would like to offer me an internship position with them. Then the intern group provides me with the Internship Planning Document to begin preparations for my internship and orientation for our virtual internship. This information session was essential to attend because it gave me the best possible start to the program and ensured that I made the most of my time in the program. Given my potential and my will to succeed, I believe I will reap huge rewards from the intern group’s unique and enriching program. The program includes a professional, virtual internship (6-month duration, 30 hours per week) in my primary career field (IT Computer Science/ Software Tester); training focuses on developing the eight key competencies essential to succeed in the 21st-century world of work, Keynote career talks from global business leaders. The program gives me 12 months of access to exclusive, real-time talks from leading speakers and the worldwide community and network. The virtual internship opportunity with Transputec Company in London is an excellent match for my skills. Also, the network opportunities, mentorship, and new skills will be as valuable as the internship. I am working with a diverse team from all over the globe on different projects and activities and doing a lot of application testing. The intern team I worked with is a great, diverse team. We were all based in various locations – the UK, Philippines, South Africa, Lithuania, and the USA but we made it work! I begin my learning journey in Transputec through Academy. It helped me a lot to understand the overseas staff. I begin to build my experience with the development team by concentrating on software testing in the Crises Control application. My internship with Transputec gives me experience in the career field I want to pursue. It also gives me an edge over other candidates when applying for jobs, prepares me for what to expect in my area, and increases confidence in my work. I am so grateful to the Transputec company’s chairman, Rickie Sehgal, the rest of the Transputec testing team, and The Intern Group for making my internship exceptional.
