He's been extremely helpful and has assisted us for several months. Even when we thought we wouldn't be able to get a mortgage, Adrian never gave up and always found another way. Feb 13,2022I can't recommend this company highly enough, and in particular our Advisor Leila Ouchikh. I hope I can write a review that does justice to their level of service to us! I know it sounds dramatic but it's true! :) I'll explain why: We had an extremely protracted and difficult house buying process, due to the chain breaking several times (higher up) and the covid pandemic pushing up house prices in the meantime. Moreover, we felt our solicitors and estate agents did not always keep us up-to-date to the degree we expected and were not willing to divulge details we needed, so we often found ourselves mystified as to what was happening on the chain (as first time buyers) and despairing whether we would be able to see the process through. Since we paid a large deposit, it often felt unfair that we were the last ones to hear about any changes up the chain. In all of this, Leila and her team were the ones we could always trust to update us on the situation (without our prompting!), with Matt going above and beyond to call the parties involved and collect information on a regular basis. Oftentimes we understood the current situation only because of The Mortgage Broker. We did not expect this high level of service from the Mortgage Broker, since we thought they would be involved only in the mortgage application and not in the entire process. Due to the lengthy process, we had to apply for a mortgage on the same property on three separate occasions. Each time, the Mortgage Broker was happy to help us and very quickly filed the application. No mistakes were made in the application documents (we made small changes to the application each time). Communication was always very clear, and if I had any additional questions, these were always answered carefully. I never felt like I was a burden, but rather a valued customer. The communication was polite and friendly. (Other parties did give me the impression that I was ‘nagging’ but there was a real risk of losing the property if I wasn’t “on the ball” as I was often not updated on time). In the end Matt also saved the day by uploading a document for us directly to the Lender (bank), which was needed on the same day for completion to happen at all. We had tried to send this document to the bank via all other avenues but because communication with the bank is very indirect, it was never clear to us which documents they had alreadyreceived. I could never directly email the document to the person at the Bank who needed it. By directly uploading, this issue was resolved. All in all, this company made our difficult house buying process much more bearable. I felt they were really on our side. I would highly recommend.
