Pitiful. I'm at my wits end and need to go into therapy after dealing with Sterling. The agency I'm employed by use Sterling Group to process my wages via the CIS Scheme. I have been trying to register with Sterling for the past 2 weeks. Daily calls saying emails to register have been sent and I need to complete it. Try and complete it when I get home then after an hour of answering inane questions the system fails and I can't submit the form due to being forced to input my D.O.B. & 2 digits from my postcode to 'confirm device' but error came up saying either code or credentials are incorrect on both my macbook and in app on iphone. This happens on a daily basis and the same conversation occurs the next day saying registration had been sent so I fill it in and get the error message every time at the end. Their IT Department have got their heads up their arses and their Systems aren't working properly. Round and round we go every f'ig day, aaaaaggggghhhhhhhhhhh, help!!!! It's becoming unbearable. An excruciating nightmare of a company!!! 14/10/2024 Update I got paid my wages but was missing my remittance form which I need to submit to my accountant at the end of the tax year. Savannah was very helpful and explained that the reason I couldn't get into my account was because my birthdate on file was 1959 and not 1969. She also told me that my address had been taken down incorrectly. The 2 weeks of sheer pain and frustration could've been avoided if my details had been taken down correctly in the first place. Please Sterling, your charging me and others £23 per week to process our wages. You could at least ensure that all clients details are correct to avoid future calamities such as the ones's I've expereinced where I wasted several hours going over and over trying to register with the company.

She’s very knowledgeable and the call was finished with me satisfied that all I required was dealt with. Sterling have a great customer service and very easy to use pay and pay statement system. The staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend and will consider re-joining should my status change.
I recently had to provide proof of employment, proof that I'm not in the probationary period of my employment, my annual gross salary, and my last four months payslips to a Tenancy Managers Agent, as part of the process to get approved to rent a room in a house. The Sterling Group HR Manager initials (K.W.) immediately understood what needed to be done and sent the requested documents to the Tenancy Managers Agent without delay. On top of that she also arranged for a colleague of hers at The Sterling Group to contact me, so I can authorise Sterling Group to file my taxes with HMRC for when I work as a Sole Trader. All my questions answered & all my requests granted, with no hassle, this company gets top marks!
