Its 11.04am friday 11th feb. Pay day? Well you would think so. Ive been waiting for two days for my identification to be processed. Im missing direct debit payments in my banking. I was told thats it, thats its status waiting to be processed. So close of business is 17.00 today my bank are asking me to pay enough into my account before 16.30 or the payments will be missed infact one payment has already been classed as a missed payment. Great.

This company is a breath of fresh air. After being with Parasol since the start of IR35, I was guessing if and when I would be paid all the time. Sometimes waiting upto 2 weeks to get any money, chasing everyday, instead of doing the work I'm being paid to do, by the firm I'm contracting to. After their Cyber attack it was the last straw. I was setup with Sterling Tuesday afternoon. I had a Payslip on Thursday and got paid first thing Friday morning. Same again the week later. It's such a relief knowing I'm going to get paid and have a payslip the day before. I'm also taking home more than I was also. Again I can't recommend them enough. If you are getting a half hearted service from another umbrella company. Switching to these guys is the best thing you can do. Been threatening to switch for months. And I should have just done it. I've been stressed and underpaid for months for no reason. If you need to join an umbrella company or are thinking of making a switch. I can't recommend these guys enough
Great experience working with Sterling. Now on my 2nd assignment with them. Always someone friendly on the other end of the phone keen to help. And key to my overall experience with Sterling is that the calls are answered quickly. Last person i spoke to was Oliver J - who not only assisted me with my query but called me back once it was all to check i was happy and all my issues were resolved - Great CS. Sterling have made the hassle of IR35 that much easier.

Really bad experience with this company, it was a full time job just to get my own money, spoke to a completly abrasive member of staff who would just talk over me in such a patronising tone on top of that upon seeing i had a muslim name i was asked if my name was Muhammad which it is clear to see it is not, this completly disgusted me however i remained proffesional, moving on somewhere along the conversation a mistake was made when taking down my email address so i did not recieve documents to join which therefore meant i was not paid on time. This is a big issue as this is the start of a new job and i had to work a week in hand already. On top of this i called to make a complaint and i even felt like the manager was having a go at me for making a complaint. Constantly telling me that i was talking over him in what i feel was an attempt to trigger me however again i did not bite. My name should never be a basis on how to treat me and this is exactly how i have felt, i wish i could have had all the phone recordings for myself so that i could show people the way i was spoken to. I managed to record the last call with the manager who i feel really didnt do his best to make me feel better. Instead i feel like i dont want this company handling my money but it seems i have no choice. Customer service skills are 0. Completely ruined my day
