The customer service is good, but They screwed up my tax code, and when I claimed my mileage, I got screwed again...having done over 1630miles to my destination of work, I only received £77 for my journey for 8days and was told, the rest of my journey claims will be lost if I don't use them anymore. It is £657 ish. Please do NOT use this umbrella company. To add to my problems with them, I received a letter from HMRC stating I owe them the exact same amount as the deducted from my pay. I have called Sterling and payroll keeps on declining my call.

I’ve had a few queries with timesheets and wanted guidance on expenses and all my questions were answered fully without hesitation by Sarah Munro. Nothing is to much trouble for Sarah and I was dealt in an exceptionally professional manner

I had a lovely conversation with Sarah at Sterling Group. She was very warm and welcoming of my many questions. and really did well to help me understand how taxes and everything else with their company works. She was also very knowledgeable and was happy to go above and being to help me understand specific things in detail This is not the first time I have called Sterling and had a great experience. It is good to know I can always call and find helpful human beings on the other end of the phone.

I been to do the tax return of my partner and I notice that the payment on the bank account is less then of much was write on the payslip. Was 2 years ego and she worked for just to weeks. The first payment was 161£ and she received 145.27£, the second was 232,88£ and she got 207,89£. I don't intend to fight for 40£ but I want that other people know how you work! Happy that she work just two weeks for you!

Best of the best payroll company you can ever be with especially with the IR35 out there. Sarah Munro has been very helpful over time. And no delay in payments too..first thing in the morning on your pay day its in there. You dont have to call. Absolutely easy to use online portal,most helpful,polite and friendly staffs over the phone. Couldnt ask for more. I give 10 star if i can💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥👌.

Generally very helpful, I have been mostly dealing with Jen. For example, had a very recent request/query which was very important for me to get an answer to quickly, her response and communication was excellent. Highly recommended

I would like to say that I had the wonderful experience with your colleague Kelly Moore today she was excellent and ever so curtias with the way she conducted her self she walked me through step by step on your app portal which for a 64 year old can be very daunting to say the least she successfully helped me with everything and to me I was very appreciated for her helping me I don't know if you are aware but having a good member of staff like her is a bonus for you the employer she is very curtius caring and is very passionate about her job and showing to me that she really knows what she is talking about so my advice to you would be to give her a decent pay rise to show her that you really do appreciate the work and effort that she puts in to her job and I don't think that a pat on the back would be appropriate in this case because a pat on the back does not pay for the rise of the economy in which we live today as everything is going up in price and we will be heading for ression by the end of the month so yes I think that if you decide to give her a pay rise then she would know that you really do appreciate her and value her as a trusted member of your team and remember that good people like Kelly are very hard to find so my advice is to keep her on board many thanks for the sterling experience Mr Paul Clelland

Great customer service, everything explained clearly and fully to me before signing up and also during payments. My payslip was received well in advance so I knew what I would be paid. All of my taxes and deductions where stated and reasoned on my payslip as well so that I was fully aware of how much I earned and why. They also called up the Tuesday following my payday to make sure everything had been sent through and processed smoothly.

Against all odds, Jen Boyle along with the team at sterling went above and beyond to make sure I wasn’t paid late. Even though there was a lot of confusion that was nothing to do with sterling group they were not short or blunt with me even though I was showing my stresses about the situation that couldn’t be helped. Well I called because I was interested in joining sterling and I talk to a lady call Laura she was very helpful and answered all my questions and cleared some stuff up that I was unsure of I was with sterling before or in May and didn't really understand how umbrella companies work so I ended up leaving but Laura explained everything I'm happy to be with Stirling now
