Oct 05,2021Phone line was down for a day saying office closed on a working day, i found out later it was a staff training day but the message on the phone didn't mention this. Original person quoting me failed to mention there was a 7.5% interest charge to pay monthly. Accounts team were due to call me back yesterday to set up a DD but didn't. Seriously wondering whether to go back to my previous insurance company!

When I couldn't get through initially, I received a prompt return call and the details of my query discussed, with HF, professionally and clearly. I suppose if I do need to make a claim the 'proof will be in the pudding' as to whether or not they are as competitive and as fair as they appear. For now I am very happy to be taking out my insurance with Hamilton Fraser.

Sep 30,2021I'm responding to a request to rate them... All good with the registration and quote system. They suggest, to change policy as the rental status changes from empty to occupied, which is very helpful compared to just going with the best value plan on a comparison website. I haven't experienced the actual work of the Insurance Broker once something happens, so can't really say if I recommend them or not.
