All 5* reviews are about buying the insurance from TL. If I had to review their customer service, I d give 4* . However, based on my experience of submitting a claim its 1*. Not only they reject your claim but also cancel your policy which leaves you with very limited options to find an alternative. TL cover looks all inclusive but I doubt they ever accept any claim. My fellow landlord has just had his 'loss of rent' rejected which was part of the policy. I have no choice but complain and challenge the cancellation. Customer Service 4* Value for money 0*
One of the main reason for 5 Stars are As an elderly person I was able to speak to person not a computer and Kayleigh answered all my questions and dealt with them with speed and with a helpful manner.

I liked that Totallandlords got back to me. I also felt that the agent Kayleigh fully understood what I was after and handled everything quickly in a very professional and friendly manner. Since I had mentioned that my phone only works on WhatsApp I would have preferred a follow up email rather than her leaving a voice message that wouldn’t get through to me. Our entire conversation was via email why not to notify me about changes… My dislikes: reading through the document I saw a typo but chose to have a think about what to do. I decided to ignore it it as I didn’t want to risk delays. Then I was faced with an expired link as I am only allowed to click on a link once. This is the most annoying mechanism I’ve ever come across as I’m used to checking my emails on my phone to revisit tasks once I’m at home. Expiry after 24 hours would be acceptable. The support service did deal with my enquiry about the link but didn’t fix the issue. I had to contact them twice. I would give more stars if there wasn’t this link restriction.

Requesting insurance cover for Landlord's rented property was highly intuitive, very straightforward & successful! The online forms were excellent with only one minor, temporary glitch. All the relevant documents were available within minutes. Trying to get a quote and purchase a policy with a competitor was tedious, time-consuming and failed. I'll stick with Total Landlord Insurance!
