Aug 09,2024I have just come back from Morocco after visiting for 2 weeks with Travelteer, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The trip was lead by Emily and Chan who were the best guides I could’ve ever asked for. They made the trip safe and fun for everyone, along with the local guide, Jamal. The experience was amazing, we experienced so much of the country and its culture, and the volunteering we did made a difference to the local community without being to strenuous on us. Every part of the trip was amazing and overall it exceeded my expectations tenfold. I miss being there and wish I could be back.

Aug 09,2024The locations and almost assisted freedom during the coast to coast tour was an amazing experience. This was further enhanced by our co-ordinator Alex Eglinton, who made us feel cared for and also allowed us to influence decisions surrounding timings of locations if the group was particularly interested in staying/going somewhere. Alex is not only a great co-ordinator but a great person, he made us all feel welcome and quickly invited us into the Travelteer family. As well as creating a feeling of camaraderie, and not that he felt himself in charge of us. Simply guiding where we needed to be and what we were doing next.

Aug 09,2024I had a great time with Travelteer in Sri Lanka! I completed 2 weeks of volunteering and the coast to coast tour. The volunteers, coordinators and staff were all really welcoming and friendly and made sure we all got as much out of our time as possible.

Aug 09,2024i had the best four weeks in sri lanka!! this was my first time travelling ever and the whole company has been super helpful and supportive. coordinator reece in particular sorted all queries asap and honestly made the experience what it was. hes a funny guy. i feel very safe here thanks to travelteer 😌

Aug 09,2024Travelteer has made Sri Lanka a trip i will never forget - I have learnt so much, done so much, tasted so much good food, and met so many fantastic likeminded people. special mention to our coordinator reece who couldn’t have led the marine and wildlife volunteering any better - and made a fantastic send off at the end of the week. highly reccomend this company - safe, trustworthy, clean and so lovely. thank you so much xx

Aug 09,2024The co-ordinators absolutely make the trip! Alex, Scarlett and Reece are so helpful, kind and fun. I’d definitely recommend coming to Sri Lanka but most definitely doing the coast 2 coast tour, that was the highlight!

Aug 09,2024there was a lack of coordination and organisation within the company. I also feel as though the mental health programme is nothing like it was said to be. It took 5 weeks for me to be placed into a hospital and even then there was little communication and I feel as though I was not able to make an impact. Reece, Scarlett and Alex were absolutely amazing and really helped me along the way. If it was not for them I don’t think I would have made it through.

Aug 08,2024The activities were really fun travelling to different cities and learning about the culture and the volunteering was a very eye opening and useful experience. The staff (aya and fraser) were really nice and helpful, and were always making sure everyone was okay and happy. I would really recommend using travelteer if you want to go abroad on a volunteering trip

Aug 08,2024Just returned from an amazing 2 week trip to Nepal with travelteer and my college, both travelteer representatives wangda, Aya and Fraser were great along with my teacher abii. They did everything we needed ensuring it ran smoothly and I look forward to future trips with travelteer :)

Aug 08,2024I had a brilliant 2 week trip to Nepal , Aya and Fraser were great role models throughout the trip, they were always accommodating, helpful and supportive. Even when we dealt with unexpected situations such as delayed flights - they sorted everything out without stress and they made a great team !

Aug 08,2024I went on the Morocco trip with the tour guides being chan and Emily. It was the best experience ever that has left me with life long memories. It was so well organised and I felt so safe and was definitely worth the money. Chan and Emily were absolutely incredible, they were so fun and down to earth I got along with everyone extremely well. :)

Aug 08,2024I spent 4 unforgettable weeks in Happy Valley, and it truly lived up to its name! The community was warm and welcoming, and I learned so much about their rich culture. Our hosts, Ismail, Abdelah, and Chef Mohammed, made us feel at home, especially Abdelah, who treated us like family, taught us about their collectivist Berber culture, and gave us weekly Arabic lessons that were very helpful when interacting with the kids. We were given small but meaningful tasks to support the workers, and the kids were super friendly and excited to learn… and play football after class. Paula, our coordinator, was funny, supportive, and kept everything running smoothly. Thanks to her, we also got to explore amazing cities like Ouzoud, Casablanca, Rabat, Fes and Marrakech on the weekends. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone interested. Morocco, in particular, is worth a visit (unbiased opinion) - it’s safe, full of culture, and the people are incredible. The views of the Atlas Mountains were stunning, and seeing the stars without light pollution was really something special.

Aug 07,2024Travelled to Nepal for 2 weeks with Fraser and Aya. Both of them were extremely friendly and professional when facing and unexpected circumstances such as plane delays and cancellations. They provided an amazing experience which will last a lifetime, Definitely recommend 👍
