I was interested in moving to Canada, and so started checking websites for information about that possibility. After putting some info into the UISCanada website, I got a call from a wonderful woman called Tasha. She walked me through the process, and checked my eligibility. All seemed well, but unfortuantely as I am freelance, my current funds could not support the idea of starting the evaluation. Tasha tried to assure me it would be worth doing now as it would keep my application in place, and offered to lower the price to half the original asking amount. However, I still could not feasibly do it this month. Had I had a better month of work, it would not have been an issue, but the timing was off for me today. My original intention was just to seek info, but things started to move forward faster than I expected. I give kudos to Tasha, she was very keen to help me, and her persistence was admirable, as she wanted to help ensure the process got underway. Unfortunately, she was engaging in a Sisyphean task, as I could not spare a single penny this month. Maybe next month, funds pemitting I will try again, but I am under no illusion that I may have missed my window. Regardless, it was nice chatting with Tasha for the 40 minutes we did. I feel I wasted her time, but she kept her cheery demeanour the whole time.

I used UIS, and specifically Lisa, to help with my Working Holiday Visa. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service, though there were a few communication bumps along the way, particularly regarding the pricing for the visa and their assistance. However, I really appreciated their willingness to listen and resolve any issues promptly. Lisa has been incredibly helpful in finding the right solutions for me. It was such a relief to be able to send everything to her, and she ensured that all my documents were in order. She took the time to answer my many questions, which made the whole process much less stressful. I highly recommend their services, despite the small miscommunications.

Everything was so easy with UIS Canada. Lisa Baker was extremely helpful and took care of everything I would 100% recommend getting in contact with UIS Canada and Lisa if you need your Visa sorted!!
Today i had the pleasure of speaking with Kate Evans. Kate was an delight to speak with, as her gentle voice made me feel at ease during our conversation. Kate both asked clear concise questions and gave clear and concise answers to all my questions. She was polite and showed she had a clear understanding of what the company does. 5 stars all around!

SCAMMERS, claimed to be another company to get money. i emailed my complaint, as they misrepresented and lied, they said no refund and we'll give you 30% off on further services. i escallated my complaint because they claimed to be the company I had just signed up with and again, no refund, appology or acknowledgment of any wrong doing just reafirmed 30% off their services, SCAMMERS
Perfect service. Kind and helpful employers. Perfect start for the working holiday. Totally recommend UIS. I would chose them all the time.

This company made the complicated process of obtaining a visa so much easier and straightforward than if I had gone about it by myself. I was assigned a single person who was dedicated to my case throughout the entire process who was always available to answer any questions I had. Every step of the way we would call to explain what needed to be done and filled out which not only made things 100 times easier but also added a really nice personal touch which made me feel like my case was being taken seriously and that I wasn't just another case number for them.

Sep 17,2024During the initial interview, I was told by UIS legal advisors that I qualified for a work visa as a US mariner looking to work in Canada in the same field. I agreed to hire a legal advisor for my application process and paid $3,680. It wasn't until the very end of the process when I was applying for jobs that I found out on my own I was never qualified for a work visa in the first place, due to the US not having a reciprocal agreement with Canada for maritime licensing. I approached my advisor with this information and it took UIS a full month to confirm that I'm not qualified for the credentials I would need to work in the Canadian maritime industry. I was also informed that with a work visa, I can only work in the same field that I'm currently employed in. And since none of the other visa options UIS supposes I still qualify for are viable for me, this leaves me with a huge loss and an inability to trust UIS advisors with any further legal services. UIS advisors should have known of this stipulation in maritime law, or should have researched if they were unfamiliar. I paid for UIS advisors to provide competent legal services and trusted them to know what was available to me. Because I was misled into spending so much money, time and effort on a visa that I was never qualified for in the first place, I believe that my case deserves special allowance for compensation. However, UIS continues to refuse to compensate me even though this incident is due to their incompetence. Despite their professed commitment to high quality service and request for more information to review my case (see company reply below), UIS still refuses to own up to its mistakes and will not compensate me for the huge financial loss and waste of time and effort that I suffered as a consequence of their negligence.
