Mar 03,2025Excellent knowledge from the sales consultant who advised and help choose the right softener for us. The delivery time was quick, as was the fitting. The fitting engineer clearly knew his stuff and made a very tidy job of pipe adjustments and the fitting of the actual softener. Her was polite and courteous, and respected my property. Highly recommend.

Kevin supplied and fitted our original Twintec water softener back in 2008, and after 16 years of great service and support there was only one place to go when general age related wear and tear started to take its toll. After discussing our latest requirements and receiving some excellent advice from both Sarah and Andrew, we are now the proud owners of a new Twintec and a reverse osmosis unit. Big shout out to Pete the plumber who did a great, efficient, clean and tidy job - working some magic on what was quite a challenging install due to some space restrictions associated with the cupboard under our kitchen sink, where we wanted both the softener and reverse osmosis unit located. It's time to get some block salt supplies in for the softener - which prompted me to write this slightly delayed review - and its a no brainer where to get that from too! Their salt supply service has always been very good and very competitively priced.

I recently had an issue and an Engineer (Danny) called me to explain how to isolate the unit until he could attend. The appointment came around fast and Danny went above and beyond to fix the unit. Jan 15,2025What a thoroughly nice, professional, efficient and user-friendly company to deal with. All the positive reviews are accurate. Our water softener was 15 years old and we now know that’s a typical end of life age. We hadn’t realised it was the cause of our water pressure issues upstairs. That was the only symptom of its ‘end of life’, it was still softening and we had no limescale build-up. Anyway, I found these reviews and contacted the company. Andrew came within a few days, dismantled it and showed me how the resin beads had turned mushy. He quoted for a reconditioned or new one, explained the pros and cons of each and we chose the new one, which he fitted there and then. It has completely transformed our showers so we are delighted. I've always been a fan of water softeners, but learnt a lot more from Andrew’s visit, which was helpful and interesting. I’m ordering salt from them too as it’s a very good price and doesn’t arrive damaged. 100% recommend having a water softener if you live in hard water area and 100% recommend this company to fit it, thank you, so glad I found you!

Dec 26,2024Having been advised by a local water softener company that the layout of our bungalow made it impossible to install a system, we approached UK Softeners who we had engaged to install a system at our previous property in Camberley. They were happy to travel to our new property to make an assessment and we were very pleased to be advised that, despite being a tricky job, they could install a water softener. On the day, the installation was challenging but was completed on time and very much to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend UK Water Softeners.

Dec 13,2024My wife already posted a 5* review following our installation in September 2023. My further review is to celebrate the fantastic customer service we have continued to receive. Salt prices are great and quickly delivered, and when we ordered a replacement water filter and I was not sure how to fit it, all it took was a one call and they walked me through it. Most recently, our softener was not working properly (our issue caused by a plumber who was dealing with something else) and after asking for help I immediately got a call from the team to help find a solution and then promptly came out to us to fix it. So not only do they offer great prices and service initially, the ongoing customer service is brilliant…. Another reason to use UK Water Softners!

Dec 07,2024I was referred to UK Water Softeners by a neighbour and promptly called by their salesperson Sarah. We quickly arranged a visit a few days later. Throughout the process there was no 'hard' sell - Sarah clearly demonstrated the numerous benefits of having a device installed and then gave me the option of all the different types available, the benefits and disadvantages. I also arranged for a Harvey Water Softener rep to visit the following week. However, the difference in the sales pitch was evident even if the prices were not that dissimilar between the two companies. In the end, the decision to go with UK Water Softeners was based on the strength of their reviews on this site and the excellent service my neighbours have received over many years. I picked the top of the line Cobalt C5 softener, an infinity drinking filter (plus drinking tap) plus also added the private job of having softened hot and cold taps fitted to the front of my property. Engineer Steve was booked in for 3rd December and duly arrived on time as agreed. The company even send small profiles of each engineer so you know who will be turning up to work in your home. (It is little professional touches like this that make you confident you are dealing with an authentic family business established in 1995) The installation was completed in a few hours and Steve duly removed all the rubbish from my property so I was left with a pristine kitchen after the installation. He walked me through the setup, how to switch both the filter and switch the mains supply back to hard water. He also helped me setup the MyHarvey app on my smartphone. I would not hesitate to recommend UK Water Softeners and will be referring my own family members after Christmas which could not be more of an endorsement!

Dec 02,2024Contacted UK Water Softeners and Sarah was quick to schedule a visit to give a demo and show the various options. We went for Harvey Twintec S4. Installation was booked in quickly. Steve arrived on time and did a fantastic, neat and clean job to fit the softener and explained how everything worked. Overall an easy, hassle free experience from UK Water Softeners and the team.

Nov 06,2024Thorough explanation! Sarah was very patient with all our questions. Not once did we feel pressured by her to buy anything nor was there any awkward upselling. She made us feel comfortable and happy with the choice we made. Installation was very tidy with another explanation of how to use the system efficiently. Overall very happy with everything, would highly recommend!

Mar 04,2025An excellent job done by Sarah (Comms, visit, ordering, expert advice) and Steve (fitter, plumber, troubleshooter). We had a water softener fitted and a Quooker filter. We discussed the options with Sarah - she gave great advice, which we took. A week later and Steve came to do the fitting. He also did an amazing tidying up of the bonkers pipework under our sink and fitting a new stopcock. Would definitely recommend.
