Mar 08,2025We visited the showroom which was beautiful, as I had spotted the company online and we needed a new sofa. The service has been brilliant from the patience of the sales staff, as we weren’t sure on the colour, to the delivery. We were able to pick from a range of colours and the sofa is lovely and really good quality and value. We would definitely recommend this family owned company and we will be using them again in the future.

Mar 08,2025Stumbled across Vintage Sofa really through an Instagram post. Visited the showroom for just a look really. Lovely friendly staff and no hard selling like in many stores. More guided you through the process and selected the best options. Ordered and delivery was exactly as expected. No issues whatsoever and very warm after sales service. 10/10 and highly recommended especially for a unique piece

Mar 05,2025I love the chairs. My only niggle is such short notice of delivery. I was abroad when I received the email to say they were being delivered that day. Thankfully I was able to sort something out but it could just as easily have been that I hadn’t checked my phone and been unaware.

Mar 04,2025My wife had been following this company online, so we arranged to go one Saturday recently, for a day out. We drove there from Liverpool, and wow, what a place! The showroom is amazing and, safe to say, we came away after ordering two sofas, an amazing lamp and some mirrors. The customer service is second to none, and being treated to coffee and chocolate whilst we browsed, just made the whole experience that much better. Once home, my wife told our grown up kids about it, so last weekend we returned with our daughter, who also fell in love with the place and is planning on returning with her husband to purchase a corner sofa that she fell in love with. She also came away with home accessories in the meantime. We will be returning again, as soon as I can save some money, as the wife would gladly bankrupt me. If you are thinking of visiting the Vintage Sofa showroom, do not hesitate. As it is worth the journey.

Feb 28,2025VSC have a fabulous collection of sofas , furniture and decorative objects. We were welcomed by friendly non pushy staff offering coffee and a brownie . VSC is located in an old mill set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside . It really is worth a visit there is so much to see and lots of choice and very good prices too .

Feb 25,2025Whilst the Vintage Sofa Company is a lovely place to visit I would strongly consider actually purchasing anything from them. In October last year we purchased a sofa and cabinet and were told to expect delivery of the sofa before Christmas. In mid-December we were told that they wouldnt be able to deliver it until after Christmas. We are reasonable people so graciously accepted this. In January we were then told it would be February before it was delivered. On 6th February we received notice that the sofa was finally in stock and that it was "being checked to make sure everything was ship-shape". On 25th February we still hadnt received an update on delivery... I'm not sure what checks they make but it must be very thorough if it takes over two weeks! As usual we had to chase them for an update, as their communication generally has been woeful, only to be told that they were looking to deliver at the end of March when the other item we had ordered was expected to be in stock. Any decent outfit would have been bending over backwards to at least get the sofa out to us considering the delay but they "deliver all items together" so we can just wait until it's convenient, and less costly, to them. The question of some compensation to recognise how valued we are as a customer has been ignored too. Update: I was contacted almost immediately by the owner, Katy, who was deeply, and sincerely, apologetic. Whilst I would normally be cynical it was clear that they really do value their customer and looking at other reviews we seem to be an exception to what is normally a quality and enjoyable experience for most and, as Katy admitted, was more due to a staff training issue than anything else, which she has already taken steps to address. The test of a good company is always how they react when things go wrong and I couldn't have asked for a better response and resolution. Thanks Katy.

Feb 24,2025Vintage Sofa Co. is probably the best shopping experience I have ever had, if only all companies treated their customers with such kindness and respect! It has been a fantastic experience since the moment we stepped foot in their amazing showroom to the delivery of our sofas. At the end of September we visited the Mill, which is like a day out in itself! Received such a warm welcome at the door, staff were helpful and attentive but not pushy. The coffee and cakes were gorgeous! Even if you have to travel a couple of hundred miles to the showroom it is worth it as it really gives you inspiration and ideas for your own home. We ordered 2 x Bertie Chesterfields, a Bertie footstool and 3 x double sheepskins. We also got the insurance and accidental damage cover which was a really good deal. We paid our deposit which would be fully refunded if our house move fell through. (I don't think many companies offer that)! The quality and craftsmanship of everything they sell is superb. The sofas and chairs are all beautiful and very comfortable, there is such attention to detail, everything is exceptional quality. Our sofas were delivered last week, they are stunning. The two delivery men were excellent, timely communication beforehand, they arranged a date and time convenient for me, arrived at the time they said, got the sofas in without any damage to decorations. They took the packaging off everything, set it all up and made sure we were happy with everything, took all the packaging away, a first rate experience. What really makes Vintage Sofa different is that you are truly valued as a customer, it's not fake, it's real, and this cascades down from the founder and owner, Katy, to all her staff. This is so rare these days. I would recommend Vintage Sofa Company to everyone I know wanting a sofa or other beautiful accessories for their home. We will definitely be back!

Feb 18,2025Visited their fabulous showroom last week a twp and a half hour journey each way, but so worth it terrific experience, wonders round every corner. The road in is a little precarious and if I was driving probably would not have got there, luckily hubby driving. Made to feel welcome and comfortable whilst browsing and finally found our choice. I forgot to request a swatch whilst there but no trouble to them to send one to me by post. Excited to take delivery of new sofa , great customer service so far, now have great expectations on quality to match.
