Jan 15,2025So having to convince my husband Vintage Sofa & Co. is actually a real shop and no scam, after following them for months on facebook and loving all their unique pieces of furniture. I finally chose a sofa „Chessington“ with Harris tweed, now living in Scotland, I have definitely fallen for tartan. Four hours from here, we decided to drive to the shop in West Yorkshire directly from our ferry trip in Amsterdam, boarding from Newcastle, saving us two hours. It was tight and we just made it like 5 minutes before closure. Still, we were warmly welcomed and expected and even although it was snowing heavily outside and the roads were windy and narrow, the staff were friendly and patient and let us take our time. If you are in to interior and decor, this is the shop. My husband was probably glad I didnt have more time to buy more. Within a week my dream sofa arrived, I am in heaven and have received lots of compliments (after sending all my friends and family a dozen photos feeling so excited) Fabulous service and genuine high quality, warm welcome, gorgeous shop and fast and reliable delivery. Thanks so much, will definitely be coming again , even if it takes me four hours to get there again xx

Jan 15,2025We were so warmly welcomed with coffee and cake before being shown around the showrooms. George took charge of us and was extremely patient and attentive as we took forever to make up our minds, with so many amazing choices! Delivery was exactly on time, as promised, and delivery team were excellent 👏 Highly recommend The Vintage Sofa Co! 🌟 Quality, variety and out of the ordinary, which is what we love!

Jan 12,2025We were wary about buying a sofa online rather than in person, but rang Vintage Sofa and chatted to Katy who took the time to very eloquently and carefully explain the 'Albert' regarding comfort, squidginess, depth of cushions, sending a video of it for more information and so on. We felt confident taking the plunge by placing an order, and were then so impressed by the communication of the company as well as the couriers... confirmation emails and texts, tracking of delivery, a kept-promise of time of arrival, and carried into the house, put in its new place, legs attached and packing taken away. Very friendly guys and a credit to Vintage Sofa. So we would recommend browsing the website and calling for a chat if you need any more information or confidence about buying from Vintage Sofa, and the whole experience has been top notch and totally recommended by us.

Honest realistic support with our choice carefully listening to our needs and preferences and advising accordingly, knowing when to leave us to think, no pushy sales people. Great quality products at a competitively fair price point. If you are looking for something a little bit different from the high street with a quality edge , need I say more!

Jan 11,2025Had a lovely experience in store, however that’s where it ended . Ordered leopard print bugsby 4seater sofa and matching footstool in September , was supposed to arrive in October , did not arrive until December and arrived clearly damaged. Contacted vintage sofa as did not want to accept delivery, sent photos as requested . They sent out an independent technician who also noted the damage and submitted report which was identified the sofa was not sold in accordance with the website or salesperson description. Sofa cushions were not coil sprung as demonstrated in store or as advertised on website. Manufacturer changed how they make seat cushions and coil sprung no longer available. Replacement footstool was sent and was also damaged. Sent back , having to chase refund . Re Sofa still waiting for a replacement in accordance with what we ordered and paid for, apparently alternative manufacturer found. Very uncomfortable to sit on, not as demonstrated in store. Also ordered matching fabric to have dining room chairs re upholstered and fabric arrived not on a roll but in a black bin bag! Has been a very unsatisfactory experience, been unable to speak to a manager or the owner despite being informed by the customer service people that they are taking an interest .

Jan 10,2025The staff and owners of the company are second to nonem first class service from a small item of ,£35 to a large sofa and other more expensive items. I absolutely love this company and still buying regularly for my home, my sofa is on order and our dogs LOVE the cushions and sheepskins. You won't beat the quality of products or customer service. Love you guys. A*** highly recommended

Ella was quick to answer all my questions and even went the extra mile by sending additional photos for my review. The purchase process was seamless—Ella efficiently took my details over the phone and provided confirmation and updates via email and WhatsApp. Her exceptional customer service made the entire experience a delight. Jan 09,2025Followed this company online. Loved it so much I travelled the length of the UK to visit in person. I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were brilliant and so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was like stepping into your dream home. Nothing was out of bounds for touching, feeling and trying. I’d live there if I could. I can’t wait to go back! I could hardly contain myself or my credit card!
