Oct 14,2023WOW⭐️WOW⭐️WOW⭐️ Let me start by saying that I've generally only left reviews when I've not been happy with a service or product in the past. I recently had a terrible experience with a number of sofa companies when trying to order a sofa just previous to ordering from Vintage Sofa Co and I had lost complete faith in finding a good quality company or a good quality sofa🙈 I called Vintage Sofa Co⭐️ by telephone instead of ordering online as I was paranoid and wanted to speak to a person for peace of mind that they were a cosha company. From the very second I called I felt instant relief. I had messaged them previous to calling by phone via their live chat through messenger to ask about dimensions of one of their sofas and I was sent a photo of a sofa to the exact dimensions I required. The colour was Mustard in the photo and although lovely, I had a look at it on their website and decided I did want the same sofa, but in the colour Marmalade. The order was so straight forward and I instantly felt a sense of trust and relief as the person I talked to on the phone was so polite, friendly, helpful, honest and above all very professional. I felt like I had known the person for years and they made me feel immediately at ease. When I explained about the sofa I wanted in the colour Marmalade instead of Mustard, I was informed it was £200 more in price. I kinda of sighed at the additional cost and without hesitation the person reduced the price to the same as the Mustard sofa with no problem at all; so they gave me a £200 reduction on my sofa and I paid the same price for the Marmalade coloured sofa, which was extremely kind and generous of them to do so. I ordered on a Monday and though they say it could be up to 7 days to deliver, it was here in 4 days. I was kept informed by email & messenger about each stage of the process including delivery date and time. If you message or email to ask questions they are very swift in replying with the information you need and their communication skills are of an excellent standard. The day before my sofa arrived I recieved an email to let me know the time frame for delivery the next day and I was informed that the delivery men would text me 30 minutes before arrival. Day of delivery on Friday 13th:🎉🎊🥳 The delivery men called me to tell me they had just picked up my sofa and would arrive within 4hrs and were running on time; I didn't recieve a text 30 minutes before arrival, but when the 2 drivers did arrive and were still actually on time anyway, the driver who greeted me at the door was hugely apologetic that he didn't text me and explained his phone had run out of power. That to me was not a problem at all as I know these things can happen and it was not really that important to me as I was more than pleased with the whole process from start to finish. The two drivers were extremely helpful in bringing my sofa in two parts up a flight of stairs in to my lounge and assembled it for me. They were very polite, well mannered and very strong might I add💪😊 They went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and even took away all packaging for me. They were superstars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The sofa is so comfortable and of a very high quality and excellent value for money. I even took the company's suggestion of insurance cover with Staingard who will come to your house to fix if any damage by pets; food etc or structural damage for 5 years. If they can't fix or remove stains they will give you a replacement sofa to the same value, which I think is just amazing 👏 So an absolute 10/10 for the drivers hard work today and a huge thank you to them both and of course to Vintage Sofa Co⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for making me a very happy person and restoring my faith in humanity & as a company, you are doing everything more than right, so please don't change🤗 Anyone out there looking for a quality sofa and a sofa company who make it a beautiful experience that is so smooth and stress free, then this is the company for you.... you'll truly be blown away ❤️ Who said Friday 13th was an unlucky day as it was a VERY LUCKY DAY FOR ME 🥳🎊🎉

Oct 14,2023Absolutely fantastic company ! The furniture is well built and stylish. I am over the moon with them. The showroom is amazing and all the staff were great. Our house purchase took much longer than anticipated, but they stored the furniture for us, then delivered it within a few days of us contacting them to say we had moved. I would highly recommend The Vintage Sofa Co.

Oct 12,2023This business is great! They have a huge selection of all kinds of furniture and deco, a beautiful show room, and the most friendly staff we’ve encountered in a long time. We couldn’t be happier with our sofa, chairs, footstool, cushions, huge pictures and chandeliers. We love everything and we are definitely customers for live. Thank you very much.

Amazing price and amazing owners and work force, leave you to browse at your own leisure with no pushy sales. You even get coffee and cake 😊 Well done 👍

It's an amazing mill with lots of beautiful sofas and other amazing items such as rugs, cushions and mirrors We were made to feel so welcome The sofa I had in mind, top quality, was just what I wanted and I came away a very happy customer. Delivery was faultless. Really worth a visit

We went away and then and guess what we came back and bought the Banbury three seater and the club chair and then last week cam again and bought a Banbury high back chair. Suites our small cottage perfect 💜 now what can we buy next

Sep 30,2023After trawling the internet and visiting sofa shops we finally visited the Vintage sofa co near Halifax. So pleased we did, the showroom is amazing. We wanted a sofa that wasn’t one that everyone else had and they certainly have ‘different’ ones here. We needed sofas that weren’t too deep and settled eventually on the Banbury. This is the leather and Harris tweed. We got a two and three seater along with cushions and rugs so we could recreate the showroom ‘look’ and also a large footstool for our doggies! The two guys who delivered today were excellent as I hadn’t decided exactly the position to put the settees in! No problem for them to move . We would recommend this company to anyone as would our doggies who have been asleep on the footstool all afternoon!

Sep 29,2023I couldn't get to the showroom so actually made my decisions based on the Facebook page and the well decorated rooms and furniture in situ on there. I would be a nightmare if I went to site as love every piece that I have seen so far. I initially bought the Hepburn 3 seater and the Dog and I instantly fell in love with it's colour and comfort. So much so that 5 months later I have added a Love seat and foot stool to my collection! I am mid renovation of a property so see other purchases being made in the future 😀😃 Thank you vintage sofa company !

Sep 26,2023Helpful and friendly family run business. Ordered online as couldn’t get to the showroom. Although we haven’t fully unwrapped our 4-seater and 3-seater olive green Howard sofas, (due to house renovations) we can see the quality and beauty and can’t wait to start using them. The colour and fabric is more beautiful than photos showed. Would definitely recommend Vintage Sofa Company!

Sep 22,2023Lovely people to do business with, The Mill is absolutely fabulous, we treated it as a day out! Met with tea and cake, our little dog was welcomed too. All the furniture is stunning. Delivery quick, also in a two hour time frame so not waiting around all day. Could highly recommend. If I needed anything else I wouldn’t hesitate to buy online from them if I couldn’t get to the mill. A pleasure from start to finish. Love my 3s Howard, the colour is just what I wanted. Eight days ago I didn’t realise I wanted a new sofa….now I am sat on it!

Sep 21,2023Our trip to the shop was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming, offering coffee and cake. It was lovely to walk around the show rooms, they are just gorgeous. Definitely worth a visit. The sofa we purchased is beautiful as is the very large mirror. Communication between vintage sofa Co and our selves regarding delivery has been great.

Oct 15,2023Poor quality: Purchased before and didn’t have an issue. recently purchased and had to contact them to find out where the order was as not heard anything. When the items arrived all 4 items of furniture were awful quality, scratched, leather not attached properly, loose bits of material, studs falling off. They did agree this wasn’t acceptable and would replace the items. When I got the replacement items all looked ok till I noticed one arm on the chair the leather looked a bit loose, when I felt it I realised there wasn’t much stuffing in that part of the arm and you can feel the wood, also the original items I ordered had all leather buttons were the second lot they sent the chairs have Harris tweed buttons not leather but the footstools have leather buttons so they don’t match like the original ones did. The chairs do look really nice in my room just disappointed they are still not right and don’t know if they will last a good length of time, due to the quality.
