Terrible customer service. The curtains that I ordered were all varying lengths---happened many times!!

Paid for a NEW sideboard, as well as assembly and insurance. Ugly large chip on the front. Reported it to Wayfair immediately. It’s been 2 weeks and they still haven’t picked it up or refunded me! Buyer BEWARE! Wayfair must take full responsibility and make this right asap.

Ordered an over toilet cabinet for $90+ on sale (not open box). It was delivered as expected. We hired an assembler from Andi who Wayfair uses to assemble furniture. This cost $90. The assembler pointed out how wobbly the unit was and that a brace for the lower part of the cabinet did not fit over the toilet water cut-off valve. The unit is poor quality. An embarrassment to a nice home. I would be concerned for safety if this unit is in a bathroom used by children or seniors. Reaching out to Wayfair regarding a return resulted in a laughable refund of $18.18 OR, if we preferred, we could dissemble it, pack and ship it back to Wayfair at our expense. To say customer service stinks is an understatement!

My experience with Wayfair has been a nightmare. I ordered this couch that was described as beige. My house is painted cream, the curtains and carpet are also cream which is why I chose this particular couch. Upon arrival it was a rude surprise to see that it is actually grey. My wife had ordered a dining set with beige chairs and we had to return it so we could keep the couch which was what we needed most. I have to say that I ordered it on October 1st and yesterday, November 8th, I received the last pieces because it came in different packages. We had white glove service. That was a disaster. The guys that came had no idea how to use a drill. They broke the drill bit and I ended up lending him one of mine and explaining to him how to get the drill to go forward because they were putting it in reverse. They didn't know how to put the legs on. My toddler knows more about tools than these guys. They were nice but they need some basic explanations on how to use the tools and what their job entails. The first piece of furniture I received, I had a good experience with the person who came to assemble it and it came clean and in good condition. What I received yesterday was totally disrespectful. Completely dirty and not from dust it is a dark colored grease. And when I called wayfair to send pictures and complain about the mess I received. Including a sitting cushion that is bulging and does not fit at all where it belongs. The first person hung up the phone. Told me to donate the couch to charity. You have no idea how hard it is for me to come up with the $3500 I paid for this piece of furniture. How disrespectful. The second person who picked up the phone was very nice but told me I could get a discount of about $500 for the trouble and keep the piece of furniture. Totally unacceptable as well, how am I going to pay 3500 for a new piece of furniture and have it left completely dirty with something I don’t think can be cleaned because it would be a hassle to try and it sure wouldn’t come out right. So many pieces I received were dirty it’s really sad. I would rather get my money back and have this mess taken away. But that option was not available. My wife has been crying a lot. And my blood pressure has been very, very high since yesterday. I can't believe how poorly made this piece of furniture is, the seams and everything in general, I do not recommend it at all, save your money and take care of your mental health. They are not at all reliable here. We opted for the option of having the pieces that arrived in bad condition exchanged. Because what we want is new furniture. I had a wonderful, comfortable sofa at home but it was already a few years old. I donated it, because I was hoping to receive a new one soon. It's been over a month and I still have to wait, this whole negotiation with Wayfair has been a joke.

Update: I am taking down my 1 star review and changing it to a 5 star review. Wayfair made it right with my mom’s order and sent my mom her rug that was missing from her order. Thank you Wayfair for making it right. I will still continue to order from them. I personally never had an issue ordering any of my rugs from wayfair. So I was shocked when she didn’t receive her rug. It could have been a easy mistake. My mom is definitely a happy customer after receiving her rug. Thank you for making it right.

Aside from being more expensive than all other comparable companies offering the exact same products, Wayfair's delivery service is absolutely horrid. To begin... their drivers are rude and not the slightest bit customer friendly. I am a designer and this time I spent around $15K on their site with no special treatment, no incentives or bonuses, none of the things that Amazon offers. Their "white glove" delivery service requires that someone be at the property to accept delivery during a window of time that could be as early as 7am. Despite giving the idea that the customer has any input in the delivery time, they do not. You get what you get and you deal with it. If you do not live at the property where the items is being delivered (ie, if you are a designer like me), this can be extremely inconvenient. To top it off, the drivers (1) call 1 time, leave no message, no text and if you don't answer you don't get your delivery, (2) show up outside of the scheduled window of delivery time and leave if you aren't able to be there at the time they are, (3) cancel deliveries at the last minute with no explanation. I experienced all of this and more. I called until I finally reached the Service Supervisor who helped me get my items re-scheduled for delivery, I received a confirmation for delivery, and the next morning both items were canceled and returned to the warehouse. Putting me 3 weeks behind on my design job and requiring that I start over ordering a dining table and sofa from someone else. To top it off... I still gave them one final chance to do right by me, I ordered one final sofa from them ONLY because they offered the earliest delivery date, and they immediately canceled my order and emailed me to say they will no long accept orders from me!!! Just can't make this up. THEY ditched ME after I spent tens of thousands of dollars on their site, and after they screwed up my deliveries over, and over, and over again and literally NO ONE at Wayfair would help me. Use literally ANY other company but this one, trust me.

Their virtual assistant is only a name, it does not function. I called their customer service # (which is hidden) only to hear that they will get back to me in 1 or 2 days to let me know what happen to an order I never received. I will NEVER purchase from this company again.

Ordered refrigerator and was told it would be delivered in 6 days. It wasn't. Was then told it would be delivered in 9 days. It wasn't. Was then told it would be delivered in 5 days. I said cancel the order. I will never order from Wayfare again and advise you to go to Home Depot instead for your appliance need!

parece que he sido la unica clienta con suerte en wayfair ,hasta ahora no tengo quejas y todo me ha gustado solo una vez q compre un mueble y se olvidadon ds los cojines pero enseguida me comunique y lo mandaron por lo demas soy fiel compradora de este sitio y para mi tiene 5 estrellas mi sala y mi cocina tiene muebles de aqui y me encantan Gracias wayfair por los grandes descuentos y la variedad de productos

A Wayfair supervisor who I spoke with searched for my profile on LinkedIn today after we spoke! Apparently the personal information of their customers is something they can write down and take with them! Creepy, freaky, are you serious, is this legal? Wayfair?!!! My order with Wayfair was never fulfilled although I was charged for the product. After multiple phone calls and emails, I had to cancel the order and insist on a refund(which they said the shipper had to do but upon asking for a supervisor, Wayfair all of a sudden able to issue refund, which may or may not be processed). Keep your privacy and order from another company, their policies are WAYUNFAIR.

Wayfair sent me the wrong product 3 times. On the phone after the second incorrect package, they assured me that they put in an “investigation” to ensure the right product with the right SKU would be sent. Still wrong. Will not be ordering from them again

I purchased a rug from Wayfair, and when I received it, a corner of the rug was frayed, and it was still in the warehouse packaging. They asked for photos, which I sent, and they and agreed it was damaged and I would get a free label. Then they rescinded on their word, and made me pay $23 to ship back their damaged rug! They wanted to pay me a few dollars to keep it, because they didn't want a damaged rug back I guess. Shop at Rugs.com. They ship and return for free. UPDATE: Spoke to Sarah who sent me a free return label after I shared my experience.

Ordered over $1,000 worth of countertop height stools. I received barstools instead. They force the customer to print out a return slip and haul, no matter how big, heavy, or quantity the items to a FedEx location that may or may not charge the customer a fee. They do not guarantee your refund. And when the items received are not correct and you return them, that counts as a return and then if the next package is incorrect, you're stuck and can't get a refund. After learning this from Chelsea at Wayfair, I requested the refund and cancelation. Once I said I wanted to cancel, Chelsea informed me my refund request MAY or MAY NOT be approved and it can take 48 hours to hear Wayfair's decision. 3 stools and I had to call back 3 times for Chelsea & Erin to get it right. I'm still waiting now for the finance team to look at the return and correct it, since so far I've only received the amount of one stool back to me. The hassle and risk is NOT worth shopping at Wayfair. They take zero ownership for their mistakes and demand customers to pick up the slack with their time, money, labor. Also, I left a product review with the entire ordeal mentioned and they do not post the negative reviews, so now I know the public can't even trust their reviews.

They’ve become the worst website to order from. They agreed the photo online was wrong but still made me pay for return shipping. What kind of online company does this? NONE. I’ll never order a single thing from Wayfair, They’ve gone soooo far downhill they can’t be trusted, don’t waste your money.

I ordered a $900 chair in August. Wayfair claimed to have attempted delivery on one occasion, in September. IF that occurred, it was without my knowledge or approval. Don't you have to RSVP to a delivery date? Anyway, in all the subsequent follow- up deliveries, they never showed up. We took time off work for at least 7 or 8 deliveries that never materialized. In each instance, customer service would provide no explanation for the now show and give me a new date and then it would happen again. If you could access our email history-- it's between comical and sad because they are supposed to be a business. Ultimately a customer rep told me there really had not been any delivery attempts since the first time the chair was on the truck. Not a one. So all the times that we took off work to sit at home and wait on the delivery were just a ruse. So you tell me, are they liars or just that messed up? How is it one rep tells the truth and the rest cover up? I think they have no idea where my chair was because yesterday they offered a full refund and disconnected me when I asked where my chair was. They also offered to re order it for me and deliver it by July 2025. LOL. I kept asking about my chair but could not get an answer. That's because they haven't had possession of it these past three months. They were just stringing me along or so incompetent they really didn't know what was going on. I will never ever ever ever order from any of their companies again. You shouldn't either.

This company used to be so easy to deal with. Now, you have to go directly through the manufacturer. There is a lengthy pain in the ass process and in no way shape or form does wayfair stand out amongst competitors with hassle free returns. They sale garbage products and do not stand behind the third part products. Be disappointed if you want to.

I ordered 5 pairs of window shades, 3 in one color, 2 in another based on their website description. When I received them the colors were completely wrong, based on the website description. I explained their error to customer service, but they refused to acknowledge the error and charged me $ 39 to ship them back. Needless to say, I will never order anything from them again.

Update: now they give me an answer an tell me the issue has been resolved! No it has not and as you can see below I just gave up instead to d dealing with your harassment. Worst customer service. Be very aware of returning an item. I ordered a rug , 9x9. It came in at 8.8 x 8.4. I took pictures with the measuring tape , wrapped it up to ship back. Now, after waiting for 5 days of no response and complaining about that, they call me and tell me that they want a video of the measuring tape!! Are you for real? This is pure harassment to wear me down, so congrats, you won. I give up. Never again wayfair and will definitely encourage others not to.
