I purchased an item. I didn't open it for 30 days. It was damaged. Sucks to be you. Never buy from them again.

I moved into my home in April 2024 and have ordered quite a few items from Wayfair and received good service. However, my last 2 deliveries have been nothing short of a disaster! The 200lb bar unit arrived damaged and positioned incorrectly!!! Wayfair scheduled the repair personnel 3 weeks after delivery! My last delivery Fedex was a 100lb+ unit that was left outside my front door!!! Fedex did not provide a delivery time frame!!!

Item was promised on certain date. No communication from them about it being late. When contacted their reply boiled down to " we will ship it when we ship it". Will NEVER order from them again. Their cavalier attitude was disrespectful and they have no consideration for consumer. Don't want to give order number as if I do after review they will never deliver

I ordered an accent cabinet, it arrived damaged with shards of fiberglass. As if that wasn’t enough, there were multiple pieces missing. Customer service was rude and condescending, I truly have never experienced anything like it. I even spoke to a supervisor who had the nerve to say “it just seems like you’re not happy today.” I’m out $300 and my only option is to buy a box, and lug a 100lb item to fedex. Obviously I didn’t order this thinking I’d have to return it, because I know I can’t carry this item by myself. The only other option they offered was a $20 credit. Truly disappointing all around.

I ordered and received an adjustable bed from Wayfair in August. I did not have the bed opened and assembled until the end of September. I ordered the bed because I am 73 years old and my health is not good. Due to my health I did not get the bed assembled until then. The head of the bed has stopped working after being used for two and a half weeks. All I can get from Wayfair customer service is it has been delivered and my thirty days have passed. The customer service is terrible. There is no other way to resolve an issue. I think the motor is bad. There is no option for me to get even the manufacturer so I can get a replacement motor. I brought this bed because I need to be able to raise the head due to my illness. I am left with buying another bed. I will not buy anything from Wayfair again. I guess they want you to buy an extended warranty for everything. That is another way to get your money.

UPDATE - I filed a BBB complaint and Wayfair immediately contacted me. My situation was resolved. I shouldn't have had to file a complaint with the BBB to get service, but it is resolved now and the Wayfair customer rep was very respectful. ORIGINAL REVIEW - I ordered a queen size bed frame that shipped by FedEx in 2 packages. One package arrived a day late. The other (bigger) package never arrived. I contacted FedEx. They opened a claim as they have no idea where the second package is. I then contacted Wayfair and explained the issue. Wayfair told me to go pick up the package from FedEx. But FedEx doesn't know where the package is and it's a queen size frame - it wouldn't fit in my car even if FedEx managed to find it. I asked for a refund but Wayfair won't do anything since I don't have both packages. I am out $900 with no resolution. I will dispute the charge on my credit card and file a complaint with the BBB and my state's Attorney General. I should have heeded the other reviewers' advice. Very expensive lesson. I will NEVER purchase from Wayfair again and I encourage you not to do business with them as well.

I ordered a piece of furniture. Immediately after, I decided to recheck my measurements. It would not fit by 1/8 of an inch. I attempted to cancel the order within a couple of hours of placing it. The Item did not show up on my orders yet. I called the next morning just after 8 a.m. I was told I would get an email sometime in the next two days, letting me know IF they could cancel the order. IF?? Of course, it was not cancelled. And I would have to pay for return shipping. When I called back, I was told that I would have had to cancel within 20 minutes of placing the order. It's in the fine print somewhere. Also, apparently Wayfair is connected(?) to Gmail. I have a very old Gmail account that I haven't used in 12 years. The excuse was that I was ordering from the GMAIL acct. and would have to go there to see my item, in order to cancel. HUH? I never ordered from my Gmail account. Every other item I have ordered shows up on my account connected to my working email. The person on the phone said that is their "policy". I will pay the $20. I'll never order from Wayfair again. Terrible service. Hidden little agendas to trick the consumer.

I searched Google for a product a product was shown said it was through Wayfair.com when clicking on the product I was transferred to the Wayfair website with wayfair.com in the URL I googled many reviews and it seemed way fair was a trusted site I placed an order I screenshotted my order number and confirmation I was never emailed money was taken from my account and I never received the product when reaching out for help they claimed that there is no order number through them and that I must have been scammed so somehow some way someone is using the Wayfair website just can't people just be cautious it doesn't seem way fair is a trusted sight no longer!!!

Communication is definitely lacking, talked 3 times with Senior Customer Service representatives and to no real avail, did make a change to delivery but after almost a month it is still sitting in some warehouse, have received no notification at all from company

I've been emailing Wayfair for 20 years! Yes, you read that correctly, 20 years! AND NOT ONE SINGLE REPLY! Yes, I used different email addresses, computers, locations... I was one of their first customers. I found myself alone with my son, in a new country with absolutely no family on the planet to speak of. We were days away from being homeless money. It was so tight and things were so rough, but I was persevering. I literally had $70 to my name, and Christmas was around the corner. there was no way I was gonna let my son have a Christmas with no food AND no presents. Knowing how cheap companies can be, I made sure I called first before I even made an order. I called to make sure that the video games I was going to order for my son would work in America. I was told yes. THEY DID NOT! They arrived 2 days before Christmas, so I quickly wrapped them for my son. Only to find out 2 days later, my son basically, not only had VERY LITTLE IN LIFE at the time, but now, not even ONE SINGLE CHRISTMAS PRESENT! This still breaks my heart so badly. It was all I was able to give him at the time, and Wayfair lied and messed that up! NO RETURN ACCEPTED. NO REFUND. NO CARE. I don't like the word HATE - but after dozens of emails and 20 FREAKING YEARS - YOU BETTER BELIEVE I WON'T DIE BEFORE FIRST MAKING THEM PAY FOR WHAT THEY DID! Time to figure out the interest I've lost on $100 for 20 years!

I ordered a tv stand and when I opened the box the glasses that goes on shelf are broken and I called them to get it replaced and I got a no answer as it is more than 30 days old. If a business stick to these kind of policies I don't want anyone to undergo the type of treatment I got. Please stay away.

I ordered a media console and it arrived damaged. They wanted to charge me for a return even though it wasn't my fault it arrived damaged. Wayfair has the absolute worst customer service. The cheaper products they sell are not worth the headache. I returned my item and just bought a really nice one from a better brand. My package arrived without issue and the quality is 100x better. Save yourself time, and a headache DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Wayfair has been nothing but a bad experience! I ordered a nightstand on 10.01 and they said it would be delivered by 10.04. Then they told me it may take up to 10 days for the warehouse to process the order. I still don’t have the nightstand and now they are telling me it might be delivered by 10.16. They lie about delivery dates and I found the same nightstand cheaper. Never use Wayfair!

We bought a bed and it arrived with the wrong measurements. We asked for a replacement and another one arrived with the same problem. When we tried to contact them again, they said it was our problem and never responded to us again. In addition to the quality of the bed being horrible, we were treated like garbage. I work at a company with over 5,000 employees and several people there said they had problems with this company. Some people here in the comments are saying they thought it was good, but in fact they were lucky. Statistically, this company is no good. It's up to you to believe in luck or pay only to have problems. The photos are also meant to deceive you. When it arrives, it doesn't have the quality shown in the edited photos. The price, in some cases, can be attractive, but how much is it worth paying to have all this wear and tear and dissatisfaction? Of course, there are people who haven't studied and don't have this idea, but if you have the slightest bit of intelligence, you wouldn't pay just to see it. In addition to this bed, we bought 16 other items of different sizes and materials. Absolutely none of them are good. To prove that I am not exaggerating or lying, I leave my contact details available to prove this with photos, videos, invoices, etc.

Just this year I started ordering a few things from Wayfair. Went fine at first and then I ordered a wall shelf on sale. Within a day I received an email stating the product was no longer available and they cancelled my order. I contacted customer service as the item was still available on their site, but now the price was higher. Apparently the item was priced incorrectly and they lied saying it was no longer available. Instead of honoring the purchase they lost a customer over the $12 difference. I have not purchased from Wayfair since due to their dishonest business practices. The item still shows as available on their site.

Will NEVER BUY FROM AGAIN!! Don't ship out the entire set of boxes needed to actually use the furniture. Gives stupid excuses and doesn't fix the issues!! Just a huge rip off. Returning EVERYTHING

I ordered an item late night and cancelled it next morning within 12 hrs. They refused to cancel the order and are charging me a hefty fee for return.

100 percent bad experience. I ordered a whole living room set just for them to cancel my order right after. I reordered, and got cancelled again I called so they knew I wasn't a scam just to be told to reorder again, like I have 4000 laying around to do so when the money isn't even released to my account yet. Will never order or recommend.

Update, October 9, 2024: And if that wasn't bad enough, they then provide canned, robotic, and entirely irrelevant responses to the reviews. Sheesh! Original: I just had THE MOST exasperating hour (or more?) wasted with THE MOST incompetent chat person I have EVER encountered (and that's saying a LOT), trying to get a simple answer to a question about a product I wished to purchase. She not only never read my original question, she didn't read, or couldn't understand them when they were re-stated. She finally got it and said she contacted the manufacturer and will get back to me. I pointed out to her (it took another two or three times) that she did not have my email, and that I haven't logged in. So I asked her to give me the contact for the seller and I would ask them myself. Three more non-answers, and she then transferred me to another person. That one, after I repeated the original question yet again, informed me she only handles post-purchase customers! There is nowhere I could find a way to give feedback on this lovely experience. Wayfair shares have devalued by millions of dollars in the last quarter, as have their profits. Their CEO is blaming it on the economy. He should look in the mirror.

There were 6 boxes to be delivered, each with 2 chairs. The delivery went like this: 1 box delivered to my door. 5 boxes delivered to an address 10 miles away. I got a call from FedEx stating the guy who received them called FedEx and said that he has no idea who I am, and they wanted me to know the boxes were sitting outside his apartment complex. They gave me the address. As I was out of state, I called Wayfair and explained the situation, gave them the address, and they said they would send the carrier to pick them up and redeliver them to my home. They also stated that if I didn't receive them by Monday (3 days later), to call them back. On Tuesday I called them back as I didn't receive them them. After a lengthy, somewhat heated conversation, I was told I would receive replacements by the 3rd (10 days later). Well, the 3rd came and went with no delivery. So I scoured my inbox and found an email stating that they wouldn't replace my chairs. So for the $1100 I spent, I received 2 chairs. I am very unhappy, and I do not recommend wayfair to anyone.
