Their return policy is terrible! They charge for returns and their “trade prices” for designers are no better than Amazon and actually can be HIGHER with problems for returning or exchanging goods for clients. If an item is past the 30 day window, you’re screwed even if the item is broken. I will never shop there again.
The pictures and video showed a nice desk with plenty of space. The desk I received was for a 10 year old. My chair barely fits in the space never mind if I need to turn around or anything. I told them in the live chat and they expected me to take the desk back apart to send it back. It only took hours to put together. And told me basically I was screwed. Do not do business with Wayfair...they are horrible. The issue is not resolved. Your customer service agent told me basically to take the desk apart..and send it back. That is not an option. it took 2 days to put it together and I no longer have the box. So basically she told me I was screwed. So it has not been resolved. I will not ever order from your company again Neither will anyone I know.
I urge you to avoid these scammers; their products are made from cheap materials, and the descriptions on their websites do not match the real product. They promise you "free" returns and then tell you about their real "secret policies about products arriving late," and you must pay for shipping. AVOID!
Once there are any items in car, Wayfair sends about 3 emails each day to get you to complete the purcghase. I went to complete purchase and duplicate items showed in cart. I deleted them. They rapid fire the emails so you start a process more than once. They shipped multiple items. I spent an hour on-line trying to get labels and another 1/2 hour with CS. who told me that I HAVE TO PAY $37 for the return!! This is unacceptable. They told me that my ONLY return of SEVEN years ago disqualified me from a credit on the shipping. IT WAS THEIR fault! This is my last purchase. I also explained that my company constantly orders Wayfair furniture for our properties...well over $37. I will never order from them again.
I have ordered THREE different brands of towels from here, and not once has the color matched the photo. And they don't pay for shipping on returns! I've now paid enough for another set of towels on return shipping. Very disappointing. If you're not too picky on color or quality, sure, buy from here. But if you like attention to detail go somewhere else.
I bought a recliner from Wayfair, but it’s already in shambles after just seven months. The footrest is bent in half, and the armrest is coming off the chair. Every time I try to recline, the motor starts smoking. This recliner is a complete waste of money. I reached out to Wayfair about the issue, but I haven’t heard back from them. I tried contacting them three more times after the initial response, but nothing changed. Allstate insisted that I talk to Wayfair about the problems, so what’s the point of purchasing the protection plan if it’s not going to help? So, I advise anyone considering buying anything from Wayfair to stay far away. It’s not worth the hassle and disappointment. NOW JUST WANT SEND REPLACEMENT PARTS TRY GET BROKEN CHAIR FIXED. WARRANTY NI GOOD. PROTECTION PLAN THROUGH ALLSTATE DOES NO GOOD. TRYING PUT BANDAID ON THE PROBLEM
Awful company to deal with! Have ordered 2 bathtubs for a bathroom remodel we're in the middle of. The first order was placed on 13th February, and due to arrived 18th-21st February, it showed multiple items in stock at the time of purchase. Then 2 days before it was due to arrive, we found out it was put on back order and wouldn't arrive until April 21st. So we cancelled that, and placed an order for another bathtub, which showed as in stock. That was due to arrive this Friday 21st February. When I checked today, it's now on back order until 22nd August, which is no good, we're remodeling now, and need the bathtub before we proceed with the shower install. So we had to cancel again, and now looking for another vendor to supply a bathtub that will commit to their delivery date!
Ordered five Kraus kitchen accessory pieces for my remodel plumbing. Everything arrived beautifully packaged, and shipping communication was top notch. Also the sale prices i paid were excellent. While my plumber was at my home installing them, he found a defect in one of the faucets (something he said was very rare, in the handle gasket, and plumber had never seen with the brand Kraus). I started chatting with Wayfair and sent pictures of the issue, and contact info for my licensed plumber. Wayfair resolved my return & replacement both immediately and kindly. I am so grateful for their response. I will definitely order from them again.
Bought a $2,000 desk that showed up after months of waiting with a huge scratch on the top surface and an inoperable drawer. They gave me 30% off for the scratch and said they would repair the drawer. I didn't want to deal with hassle of buying a new one and waiting months. Turns out they will not repair drawer. They suck.
One of the worse companies. Added $700 from wish list to basket. When placed the order f9r $20 door handles, it placed the order for $700. Cancled after 7 minute. Then 5ndays later there comes lamps.shipped which was what i cancled. They charged me $80 t9 return stuff i never knew i was ordering. Run. Run from this company. Scammer
I would give ZERO stars if I could! I purchased a sectional from Wayfair and 1 of the items listed as "open box". On the Wayfair page they state they "closely inspect all open box items for accuracy". When we opened the item, it was the wrong component AND was missing parts (bottom cushion). We contacted the customer service department, and they wanted us to take a discount (on the wrong piece) and I quote "just go get a cushion made". When I told them that this was not a satisfactory solution, they sold me another “open box” item. When it was received it was ALSO missing the cushion! So, we ordered again……AGAIN it was missing cushion. Instead of simply sending out the correct cushion. I was forced to order piece again at DOUBLE the price…to get the cushion needed! Each time they simply wrote the piece off! Now I have 2 pieces of furniture I have to dispose of!!! An additional note, I signed up as a business (these units were for my reception area). The customer service of the business representative they assigned to me was HORRIBLE! I will not be ordering ANYTHING from this company ever again!
Merci pour vos avis, j’étais à deux doigts de commander chez eux et grâce à vos avis, je vais passer commande ailleurs. Y en a marre de toutes ces arnaques
The 1s vanity I received was cracked it took a shocking amount of work to return it. Then I order another smaller one that I never received because it broke in shipping. Had to pay two hundred dollesrs to return the third one. Stay away
I received a call from Wayfair's customer service team! They were really helpful and I appreciate it! ..... Had just purchased a home and was excited to decorate. I remembered not liking Wayfairs quality, but bought items anyway. Shame on me! The screws on my deck rocking chairs never got tight enough, 1 chair back cracked! The table I received was the wrong color and it has a dip in the middle. How do you return a huge diningroom table?? I feel stuck with this junk. 1 of my dining chairs had a screw issue, I was able to fix myself with a drill. My mother always said follow your 1st mind...my mind told me to stay away from wack way fair! I'm done for good!
The table I was shipped had a large crack in the corner of the top. I spoke to customer service to request a replacement piece but was told that the only way to replace the table top was to return the current table and be sent a replacement. This required repackaging the table and lugging it to a FedEx location. For my trouble, I requested a discount on the table as well. Once they provided the discount, I was told that they couldn’t issue a replacement because the issue had been resolved with a discount. I have no use for a cracked table!! I spoke to several agents and was told a manager would contact me. No one contacted me. Finally I decided to just return the table (the chairs had already been put together, so I REALLY didn’t want to disassemble and return those)—they only gave me $87 + the $27 discount back!! I could have bought the chairs separately for cheaper. So basically they pick and choose what gets the discount on sets based on what you return. I will not be recommending Wayfair to anyone that I know based on how they handled this situation. Terrible customer service. Update: wound up disassembling and returning the chairs as well to get the full amount back. What an irritating fiasco…
Ordered a table through Wayfair, waited a month for it to be delivered and when it came it was missing the top. Did the back and forth with Customer Service, they issued a replacement order. Another month went by and the delivery day came…only the base, again. Two months in and we had no table. Wayfair’s service team decides that instead of making it right they’ll just cancel the order and offer a 10% discount on a future purchase. What a slap in the face for the horrible experience dealing with them. Leaving the “Wayborhood”
If I could give them zero stars I would. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before I even considered buying from Wayfair. I now know why my experience was so horrible. Their Customer Service review score is 1.3. Out of FIVE. I purchased a beautiful rug online. When it arrived, the colors were totally different than what was pictured online. I supplied Wayfair with the requested photo. I got a return mailing label and the return postage was $54.49. I called Customer Service again this morning and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told that the CEO gave the reps the authority to make all final decisions and the supervisor of that group didn't get involved. What kind of policy is this??? After a lot of back-and-forth, I was offered a Credit of $13. This means my shipping is still over $40. I will never purchase from this company again. I hope my review saves others from going through the same aggravation.
I bought a table from Wayfair spent $700 on a 46' Walnut pedestal table from George Oliver - They shipped a perfect Pedestal base - then shipped a used partially assembled top - the top's bolts to attach the table were stripped. Which makes the entire table worthless. You cannot attach it - they cancelled shipping the replacement top twice and then delayed it 3 times - then they told me to Donate the table and they would ship a new one - it has been a month with a broken table and they want to charge me for shipping it back to them - Dealing with this company is a complete clown cluster- there is a virtual assistant front end on the website and tough to get a human on the phone. I am fed up and realize ordering from Wayfair was a horrible mistake - ! I want a refund and I will donate the table sitting here in two pieces to a homeless shelter or they can pick it up! I need a table and I need my money back.... not a stripped table top that does not bolt into the pedestal. - I have to laugh - they sent me a broken table said there was no refund - or replacement - and look below - they are willing to give me a 10% discount on a future purchase I LOST $700 DOLLARS ON THIS PURCHASE I WANT A REFUND OR A FULL REPLACEMENT!
I ordered a massage chair on December 6th, 2024 with a promised delivery before Christmas. The delivery date just kept being extended and customer service was useless. Finally I was given a shipping date but tracking said my new chair had been damaged during shipping and was being repaired. I was then given a delivery date in early February 2025 and waited at home only to be notified that the delivery truck broke down and my massage chair was headed back to storage. I tried to get a refund and order from Amazon but Wayfair wouldn't return my money. The delivery company wrote that my delivery date was changed at my request which was a lie ! My chair was finally delivered on February 7th, 2025 two months since I ordered it. I did not realize what a poorly run company Wayfair is, and the CEO should be fired !!!! I was contacted by Wayfair and they provided a credit of $106.47 for the inconvenience involved in my $2,200.00 purchase.

Feb 24,2025I purchased 3 rugs that are all the same style, different sizes. They are all defective! The 8x10 was used with yellow and dingy dark spots, 2x4 the back trim was unraveled, and 2x3 the right edge is slanted not straight like the left side of the rug. I didn’t even ask for a return as I like the rugs a lot. Wayfair completely denied a return and exchange. They stated that they reached out to the 3rd party/manufacture and this is normal with the rugs. UNBELIEVABLE and I am beyond FURIOUS. I will NEVER order from Wayfair again. HORRIBLE customer service!
