Shopping experience is terrible—0 stars! Customer service is awful, and no one is there to help. I made the mistake of buying a $400 gift card to use at Wayfair, and it’s been the worst decision ever. Every simple purchase comes with endless problems. When I contact customer service, they just say they’re ‘looking into it’ and promise to follow up, but days go by with no resolution. It’s frustrating and completely useless. Avoid Wayfair at all costs!

Got a bird bath. Took along time to arrive and then it was junk. So cheaply made. It was plastic which would have been OK if it was $25, but it was more than twice that. And they charged shipping to return. Not buying from them anymore.

I must say that I’m quite disappointed by Wayfair’s order fulfilment process. An item I ordered didn’t arrive by the delivery date they gave me so, after several days, I contacted them and they provided a new date. Still no item, so I engaged in chat with their representative who said they would “investigate” and give a new estimate within two business days. No report so I contacted them again and, once again, was promised an “escalation” and a report within two business days. You guessed it—no report. I just completed my third chat with them and got nothing more than the same disingenuous assurances. My guess is that they simply don’t have the item but don’t want to tell me that. My advice would be that you avoid this company unless you have high tolerance for fibs and frustration.

I stay in Scotland and ordered through Wayfair USA to send goods to my son who stays in Portland. I ordered a triple buffet server and the wrong item was delivered instead my son received a rice cooker/steamer. I thought it would be straight forward contacting Wayfair and was directed first of all to the virtual assistant which was awful, then spoke to an actual person who was equally unhelpful. I had to upload pictures of the item received which I duly did to be informed that something had went wrong, however they did arrive later according to the assistant. I then received an email from Wayfair telling me. I had to contact the manufacturer directly. There was a phone number and email. I chose email to minimise the cost of calling USA. I send off the detailed email only for it to bounce back saying it could not be delivered as the address was wrong. I am now left in limbo. I could not find an email address for customer services in Wayfair but only a telephone number which I am loathe to call due to cost. This error was not my fault but I am left completely on my own to try to rectify. Last time I will shop with Wayfair. Great selection of goods but rubbish after care sales.

Their get it fast is a bunch of BS. They don't stand behind the delivery dates advertised for their products upon order placement. False advertising. Then, they tell you that orders can't be expedited (on their dime basically) BEFORE the item is shipped and has a tracking number. Additionally, in my case, I was able to pay to expedite. How convenient. If you want to cancel orders/items that have not been shipped / assigned a tracking number, you can't. Or you have to wait 2-3 business days for a response.

I ordered a "Render 48" TV stand which was OK. My issue with Wayfair relates to pricing. Before taxes I paid $329.99 for the unit and less than fourteen business days after delivery it was selling for $269.99. Wayfair refused to make a price adjustment. In my view the purchase price and reduced price were too close in time and from a customer relations point of view Wayfair should have made an adjustment. How can consumers rely the pricing???

**Review for Wayfair: Poor Customer Support Experience** I had a very disappointing experience with Wayfair's customer support. I ordered the *Paul's Hand-Crafted Weather Resistant Floor Fountain with Light* from a vendor named Millwood Pines through Wayfair. The fountain arrived damaged and leaking, so I contacted Wayfair for support. On **December 2, 2024**, I received an initial email stating: *"Wayfair here! We just sent you an email with an update from our manufacturer regarding the issue with order #**********. Please respond when you can! If you don't see the email, please check your spam folder. This number isn't monitored. To reach us, please respond to the email from *****. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."* However, since then, I have received **no further emails or updates**, despite following up multiple times. My attempts to get a resolution have gone unanswered, leaving me frustrated and with a damaged product I cannot use. This experience highlights a lack of accountability and communication on Wayfair's part, especially since they promote themselves as a reliable intermediary between customers and vendors. I expected much better service and timely follow-ups. If you're considering purchasing from Wayfair, keep in mind that their support may not be helpful if something goes wrong with your order.

Wanted to return an item that arrived broken and not as described. They asked me to text them off-site to arrange it, which seems like a weird way to return an item... they then asked circuitous questions for several hours then ghosted me. Lesson learned, do not shop here.

If you are seeking feedback and a review from as I consider quite of a handyperson with my dealings and interaction with Wayfair that may help you with your decision making with the company and its vendors, I would offer a bit of caution but the decision is yours. I made a purchase of a bathroom vanity which I assembled but had problems with the Bathroom cabinet because the cabinet rails would not release and could not get any clarification on how to do that from the manual instructions.I called the manufacturer ECLIFE 3 times, texted and emailed them with no response. Even Wayfair said because it is out of the time frame there is nothing they can do to help me with my purchase. This clearly showed me Wayfair will not provide any further assistance post sale once out of the service period. I said what happens if you need to replace a part if malfunction or in need of a repair. Well, on Dec 15, Sunday at 11:45am I called into Wayfair after unsuccessfully getting a reply back from ECLIFE.In calling their no. 323 393 8260 if in need of assistance. It appears as though that number is strictly listed for optics and actually no one responds. I spoke with April Customer service and she elevated me to her Customer Service Supverisor who would only give me her first name Shania and not her region of ofc. as she said that was confidential. Firstly it seems that she really didn't want to be working on this day, Sunday at 11:45a as her answers were very canned and robotic with no willingness to assist. It is baffling to me that a company that represents manufacturing vendors does not assist their customers to bringing the manufacturer and vendor together and finding solutions after the sales have completed. If you would like to engage with a company that does business this way you can disregard my feedback and baffling journey. With this particular Supv Shani, she had nothing more to offer than saying, is there anything I can help you with. My pursuit fell on deaf ears and I said even if you asked a Homedepot or Lowes salesperson about a product I don't ever recall any one of them saying we can't help you as it is out of the service period. This negative experience has led me to seeking and sourcing products in my state and doing my business working with platforms, vendors, and manufacturers that do want to help you with finding solutions and companies that do care about providing post sales customer service and being customer centric. Wayfair really needs to take a close look at how they treat their customers and equally also engage manufacturers that will care for their Wayfair customers and not go dark when customers are reaching out to them. I now understand why many platforms have displayed a 1.3, 1.4 stars for the Wayfair customer service. Just be prepared as someday your time will come.

I just wanted to unsubscribe from getting all the unwanted multiple emails per day. They do not make it easy to do this. No button to unsubscribe. No automatic unsubscribe. Had to actually talk to an assistant and then they told me it would take several business days. Most other businesses allow you to do this with a simple click on an unsubscribe link and it is done immediately. Won’t ever deal with them again.

I ordered 4 chairs for my family room. They delivered one of the four and said the remaining three would be delivered in 2 weeks. I then received an email that said the remaining three chairs were cancelled and that they would not be offering these in the future. I asked them if I could return the chair. They said it must be packaged for Fedex to pick up. Well, of course I don't have the original box and would not be able to get one that size. They said it must be repackaged to return it. Not very helpful. Now I have a chair that won't match the other three that I need and one not easy to get rid of. This company sucks!

I ordered a bath tray and got some stupid plastic toy!! I called to complain and I got a foreign customer service representative who was I felt was less than empathetic and insisted I send the toy back.. When I refused, he transferred me to a manager who kept saying the same thing. When she transferred me to her manager I had to explain the issue all over again. This manager rudley insisted I take a picture and adt she placed me on a long hold, came back and advised Ill be refunded and then hung up on me!! I will NEVER use Wayfair again!!

If available, I would give them 0 stars. Wayfair is not truthful with their estimated delivery dates. They advertise one estimated delivery date, but after purchase they extend the estimated delivery date. Promises made, promises not honored. Most unprofessional and corrupt company that I’ve ever dealt with. Their business practices are highly questionable. To anyone purchasing from them, you have been warned!!

I spent $759.00 on a bank of kitchen cabinets. I just received it 12/13 and they dropped the price to $505.00 oN 12/14 That is a huge difference. I called customer service and they refuse to adjust the price. The only way to get the ssle price is to return it and pay shipping and re-purchase it stupidest thing I have ever heard of. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I am changing my experience review with Wayfair. After posting the below review I received an email that my refund would arrive in 3 days, and yes it did. I know the holidays are a busy time for all retail businesses and I did take that into consideration. I’ve given up on getting my refund. I’ve spoken to many associates, each saying they have made the correction and my refund is on the way. It’s been way over a month.

I wll never buy from this corrupt company ever again. They created 2 listings for the EXACT SAME couch I bought, with two different prices. So I happened to buy the more expensive one and then saw that there was a listing that was cheaper and when I contacted them to get a refund for the price difference they said they dont price match even on their own products even though they confirmed that it's the same couch. And their customer service made it clear that this company has no morals or ethics of any kind and are just trying to rip people off and get profit.

I ordered a cabinet for storage for under my TV. The box they shipped was torn & defective. The piece of furniture had cracks in particle boards. They were late getting it to me. It took 3 hours to put together the main cabinet then the hinges would not attach because they put the holes for screws so low I could not attach the doors properly. I have been on phone since Tuesday & today is Friday. They want me to disassemble & put back into the defective & torn box so fed ex can pick it up. Mind you they had me on phone on Wed & transfered me to fed ex or at leadt I thought I was speaking to an agent. I was told they were picking it up on Thursday. They knew it was not in a box. My time spot was a 12 hour window. I waited al day & no one showed. I called today (Wayfair again) & they told me fed ex could not pick up if it is not in the box. Then why transfer me to a fed ex agent & arrange for a pick up. They take no issue in wasting our time as customers. Either they are playing games or they are inappropriate/unprofessional or just don’t know what they are doing in business. Why did they transfer me after I explained I would not take my valuable time & disassemble to create a mess. Which no one showed from Fed Ex. I have cameras if Ged Ex had shown. This company is very unprofessional. They have taking points they continue to repeat. I asked to be transferred to supervisors & spoke to 3 more people but funny it was not till the 4th that they actually claimed to be a manager. So I have no idea what kind of games they are playing but it’s terrible & sad. The company had no problem charging me & sending the in a defective box & defective furniture. They won’t refund & they take no issue in making this a horrible experience for their customers. I have disputed the charge. I have wasted 4 days & over 6 hours in of talking to employees that can’t correct their mistake. This is not my issue. They are a terrible company. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I have pics of all of this. I made sure to document everything!

Ordered a table and it was not the size the description said it was. Offered me a 20% discount. The table was no use to me so is the discount. Was told they would send me a new table. When I looked at the replacement it was the same table so I canceled the replacement. I returned the table and am waiting for my refund. I've waited days after they received my return and still not refund. I have spent over 2 hours with the "chat" agent and no resolution. I've waited for a response from the agent and they were still no help. I will NEVER order a thing from Wayfair again. Cheap merchandise and terrible customer service.

I ordered a swingset from Wayfair on black friday for roughly $350. My order was cancelled on 12/10 after I sent an email requesting shipping update. When I called the costumer service order I was jumped between 4 people. 3/4 told me that the swingset I originally ordered WAS instock and they were unaware of why my order was cancelled. Instead of reinstating my order all 4 reps requested that I reorder the swingset at full price which was rough $550. At first they wanted to give me a 10% of full price promo to reorder. At this point I am beyond disgusted and pissed off that they are scamming me into reordering the same product they cancelled so they can recieve full price vs the black Friday price. It took higher management and near 2 hrs for me to get price match and now my child isn't getting their xmas present until AFTER Christmas.

I received a previously opened item When asked if they would wave the $14.00 return fee it was denied. Stick with Amazon. Much easier to work with.
